I have had a few issues with my aging SUV the past few months that they have sorted out. A persistent EVAP (emissions) issue took three visits to snuff out. They only charged me once, likely because it was just a matter of looking closer and replacing more hoses (cheap). I passed my emissions test today, yay!
I had a horrid front end noise and they replaced a bad wheel bearing. I discovered it was a two-​fold noise after driving my car for a day or two afterwards. They determined it was the front differential and they did a full service. A few weeks later it was making the noise again. They looked at it and gave me an honest response – it was slowly wearing out, BUT it would likely last a good amount of time and I was in no imminent danger of driving it as is. Then they quoted me the price to have it replaced come time. They do not do complex rebuilds of such parts, since this place is mainly… well, tires, so keep that in mind.
They call you before they do any work and give you an up front estimate. The actual price has always been the same as the estimate.
