After visiting several urology places, I found out about this place. After meeting with Dr. Schwartz, I finally found a dr that wanted to really help me. All the others had dismissed me, saying as a paraplegic to get used to my problems. Dr Schwartz was the complete opposite. He took time to listen and explain things to us. Asked for our input before giving us what he thought to be the best options. I couldn’t be more pleased with having him as my urologist.

Annpolis Urology is the Best! Everyone who works there is So nice! In particular, i was observing Miss Shavanna, and she Really has a wonderful personality! She works so great with the patients, puts them at ease, and makes patients laugh!

I was truly impressed by this place. Normally I wouldn’t rave to the world that I went to a urologist but it’s part of life and growing old /​so we all need to do it sometime. But anyway, this place is HUGE but efficient and has a lot of help and staff!
When you arrive there are multiple waiting rooms so choose the correct one. They don’t leave you waiting long before getting your information while sitting in a semi-​private booth. They asked for my SSN which I don’t like.
I did not wait more than 15 min for my appt and the doctor was very prompt, friendly and listened very well. I really liked him.

It would be fantastic… except for the difficulty reaching a live person to schedule an appointment. I’m not a negative reviewer, just someone who hopes they stop their system from saying «…due to heavy call volume…» and make you leave a message. For someone as busy as I am, this is a tad frustrating. And, if you are from AAU, I really need a follow-​up appointment. Thanks

Dr. McDermott is the best at what he does! Anyone in the Annapolis area that has children needing urological procedures should definitely make an appointment with Dr. McDermott!
