So I moved into this place a couple months ago. It’s pretty much brand new and no one had ever lived in my apartment, which was good. The rent is pretty high, but not out of control for the area.
My place is nice, and having brand new appliances is really great. The coutners are granite and the cabinets solid wood, so that’s why the rent is the way it is I presume. My only negative would be that they still went and put in cheap carpeting in, mine still hasn’t stopped shedding. Another thing is that all of the parking is in a gated garage, which is great.
The people who work the leasing office are very friendly and helpful, and everyone I see around the building is friendly and happy, which makes a difference.
The ammenities are good as well. The pool is excellent and always has lots of people hanging out and enjoying it. The workout room is pretty solid, not that big but it has the standard equipment. There’s also a lounge area which has a kitchen and you can hang out in there and use the free wi-​fi or reserve it for parties. Also, there is a room with a pool table and a TV, and then this really cool theater room with an HD projection screen theater system and about 10 chairs.
Although there is just a Starbucks right now, there are a couple of storefronts that should be made into stores at some point (soon I hope.) When I moved in I heard one might end up being a Moe’s.
All in all a good place to live and only about 1.5 miles from downtown Annapolis.
