A little sketchy and unorganized. There is so much traffic in this store that it may seem they are short-staffed. It might also be the lighting — seems a little dark in there even with the florescent light.

Big store but very dirty and unorganized. Maybe because of the amount of traffic they get, but I didn’t get a sense that they were clean enough to sell food. But I’m okay grabbing bottled water and be on my way.

Oh man, do you need lottery tickets? A sweet snack after Yechon? Or someone to pick your weeds for $ 12.50 an hour? If so, then this is your place. During the day, there is a horde of day laborers standing around who rush every truck, van, or semi that looks like it might need labor. It’s quite a sight to see — they will even hang off of windows, mirrors, etc to get the attention of the driver. At night, there are still a few of them, but they’re there mainly smoking cigarettes and lamenting how slow the day went(those college Spanish classes were good for something).

«Uhhhh. My Slurpee isn’t cold…» Oops. Apparently there’s a light on the machines that tell you not to use them when the light’s on. It doesn’t really help if you’re drunk on food(and/or soju) from Yechon next door and don’t pay attention to the light, though. On the plus side, there’s the possibility of walking out of here with a gigantoid empty Corona box(roughly half the size of a standard wooden pallet) for free, courtesy of the nice staff that work here…

Located next to Yechon, a good place to grab an after-dinner slurpee when options for bingsoo are closed. The store is mostly clean and organized. The guys working were friendly and were entertained by our group. Lots of beer in the corner, in particular, a larger than life box of Corona.(Ask Julie H about it). Happy to find they had cherry AND coke slurpees so that I could mix them and make a delicious cherry coke slurpee. Be mindful of the lights by the slurpee machine though — if it’s lit, it means that when you pour your slurpee, it will look like soap and definitely won’t be cold.
