Just got a follow-​up call from the stylist at Serendipity salon seeing if I was loving my haircut and to ensure that I didn’t have any problems with styling. That’s why I chose this salon, great customer service goes a long way. :)

The owner and Cherish are friendly. The salon tends to specialize in curly hair and is not skilled at cutting styles which don’t require «scrunching». The haircut I received was poor. Many uneven layers which were not blended. I will not go back for a haircut. Very expensive ($ 80) and not at all worth it. Cherish, however, does a very good color. Price was $ 110 without cut or style. Total bill was $ 190. Ugh.

I had an awesome experience at this lovely independent salon! Cherish did my hair. I love wearing my hair with more natural wave and she taught me how to style it to get longer lasting curl. She cut it to work with my natural curl pattern, cutting with my hair’s own movement rather than against it. I can now go without blow drying and still have good hair!
Cherish also gave me fantastic color that I adore. I wanted to go very light blonde, almost grey. Cherish got me to this color, with a very modern color melt look. She and her coworker were professional and tended to my needs while I processed. I will definitely be back, even though it’s an hour drive for me — totally worth it.

I came back to get a little trim today, and perhaps some style ideas, and Darian is great as well! She washed my hair a bit and then proceeded to trim and frame my face more. It already looked good but she made it better, plus she styled it with a few braids that worked without having to use any hair ties, just a few bobby pins and good to go. I LOVE IT.

I have had my curly hair cut by both Renee and Carmen and I won’t go anywhere else. They spent time with me showing me how to style my hair and the cut keeps the shape for a long time. I haven’t ever had such good luck with a salon.

My spring cut got a little wonky behind the ears, trying to veer into triangle head. I called Carmen and she set up an appointment with me to fix it free of charge. After the fixer-​upper trim, I didn’t need to see her for 4 months, that’s how great her cut is.
When I saw her two weeks ago, I told her that I’ve been wearing my hair up more to work in the garden or ride my bike and she showed me a curl-​friendly quick and easy updo that doesn’t ravage my hair like a ponytail, is cute enough for a night out, and practical enough to sweat in. There are not enough good things I can say about Carmen.

I’ve been getting my hair cut here for a year now, I wish I had discovered it sooner! I had a really bad haircut that I was trying to grow out. Carmen gave me a GREAT cut that worked with my naturally curly hair, and I’ve been going to her ever since. Hair stylists are always trying to straighten my hair, but not Carmen. She is fantastic. Her haircuts grow out really well, I mean they don’t lose their shape fast. Not only is she very skilled but she is so friendly and nice. Love it!
