Since it’s my last night here after 12 nights, I want to let you know about my full experience. First few nights here we liked it until we noticed our sheets weren’t changed. So I stayed quiet didn’t say anything. Just let it be, than the very next day one of the house keepers accused me of throwing my daughters diapers in the toilet! Seriously??? Never did I nor will I ever throw my daughters diapers in a toilet! After that I was just furious! Coming back to the room that night I noticed they only fixed the bed and put towels. Did not vacuum!(I have a 7 month old that has a playtime everyday with her toys) so that was not okay with me! So the next day my husband went out to the hallway found a house keeper that only comes on weekends. They actually knew each other and told my husband he will have everything cleaned and changed for us! Not sure what his name was. But he was nice enough to keep his word… So for this morning. We took our time in the room today since it’s our last full day in Michigan l. I packed everything in our luggages since they have a early 11am check out… So housekeeping knocked on the door once and opened the door! Not waiting for anyone to say to not come in! She apologized and left. We were ready to leave maybe 10 minutes later. So as were walking out the same lady that accused me of throwing my daughters diapers away in the toilet and opened our room door without waiting to see if anyone was in the room asked if we were checking out! I said no. then asked if we’re staying and I said yes. Since I told her we were staying another night I thought she would return to our room and clean it. But again for the second time we walk in with the room not clean or the bed not fixed. So upset with this hotels housekeeping. Also the key to your room won’t work every time. Had to go to the first floor and change the key maybe 4 – 5 times. The blonde on the front desk will roll her eyes if you complain about the keys not working. I will not recommend this place if your staying more than just a night. Will not be coming back!

First night out of 5 nights reserved the bath tub is clogged and I called front desk to report it. Well next day I get in the tub to take a shower and still clogged. I think no one came to unclog it during the day when I was gone. That is very bad service I think.

This was a nice, cheap-ish place to stay in Ann Arbor. My mom booked it because my cousin was graduating from UM’s School of Pharmacy and we wanted to stay in-town for the celebration. This Comfort Inn was cheaper than some of the hotels by Arborland so we chose it because we all had cars. Recently remodeled, which is always a plus in my book. The lobby contained a small sitting area with a fireplace and the staff allow guests to sit there and drink their own beer, which is nice if you want to socialize with a lot of people and not bother other guests. The rooms were recently recarpeted and repainted so everything looked nice, new bedding and soft pillows throughout were a nice touch. I am always a fan of a hotel that has moved away from the icky, gross-patterned bedspread for the more modern down comforter/duvet combo in all white. Just looks and feels cleaner. Breakfast was free and included hot items like eggs, bacon and waffles. There’s a pool but we didn’t use it though it seemed to be getting a lot of traffic. The elevator is slow and sometimes doesn’t open so you have to push your destination button twice. No biggie, just kind of scary if you hate elevators. For two evenings in a row, we all hung out in one room(about eight of us) and both nights our volume was the same. However, night number two we actually received a noise complaint(presumably from the neighbor) because apparently we were too loud, even though we were just talking and everyone in the room was over 30. Just a warning: in case you think you might be loud, go out in the lobby or find another place to talk because the walls are thin. Good value, comfortable rooms and good shower pressure — all nice things in a hotel stay.

Awesome place. I recommend it. Warm breakfast, waffles, eggs and sausage. Staff are friendly and responsive. I’ll be staying here again and again!
