Wings were decent as usual, but service was slow and no one was in any hurry to change that. I enjoy going here due to the location and previous experiences, so hopefully they improve service soon.

We went here for our anniversary one year because we had a groupon. The food and sauces were aweful and overpriced. We didn’t even bother to save the leftovers. I had the chicken at the Ypsilanti one when I was in college and don’t recall it being this bad. The atmosphere was your typical sports bar, the staff was nice and friendly. I probably wouldn’t go back through just because of the food.

As we drove in we noticed alot of vehicles outside, naturally I thought it would be a long wait. As we walked in there were people steadily leaving the place. We ended up only waiting about 8 minutes, which is great on a Friday evening with 30 games on. We ordered fried pickles which were brought out relatively quick. The waitress came by only twice though once to take our order and the second to bring us our food, didn’t really check on us. Not really sure why, but she was able to check a few tables around us a bit more. Food was as expected for a wing place. We ordered a small boneless and a medium traditional with medium and honey bbq along with fries and a quick dessert. I only give it three stars because the menu we were given had sauce on it, table was clean enough just sticky in some places. The other contributing factor was that we weren’t checked on during our visit. A gentleman did approach us towards the end to ask if we needed anything .Our situation is different than most and we have been truly blessed, we always like to leave hoping we helped someone out who may have not been having a great day.

My waiter scored very highly today on a number of qualities:(1) Ignoring me(2) serving more of attitude and less of food(3) being in a hurry. I was there today(monday), around 10pm and the place is not very busy. The waiter took my order and brought my drink fast, but that’s about it. My tacos were brought, and just thrown on the table — didn’t stop even for 5 seconds to ask if I need something more with it or no. After about 10 minutes, I was given the cheque without asking. FYI: it IS possible for a single person to order dessert. All you have to do is «ask» — shouldn’t this be waiting 101? After taking the beer away and serving dessert, at least ask your patrons if they’d like a glass of water — again waiting 101. The food is good for what it is but service needs a nitro boost. To the manager: if you message me I’ll let you know who it was.

Mini corn dogs, fried pickles, spinach and artichoke dip — the appetizers are reliably super good(especially when fried). They have reliably good fried chicken with enough sauce options to please anyone. Personally love the traditional wings with honey bbq! Sweet and not you spicy.

This is a bar in the heart of U of M’s central campus… Yet in the midst of the Michigan-Notre Dame NCAA tournament hockey game they decide to switch the sound to the Wisconsin basketball game. Where’s the Michigan loyalty? Food is fine, but I came here to watch Michigan sports. As did most of bar. I don’t get it.

I only visit this place on Wednesdays(for trivia nights), or on Boneless Thursdays(when boneless wings are 60¢). BWW is definitely overpriced without the Thursday special. The service is so-so at best, and they’ll downright ignore you at worst, regardless of how packed or empty the restaurant is. Avoid the late night alcohol specials, because the drinks are definitely watered down! As for the wings themselves: Sauces and rubs to pick — Asian zing, mango habanero, Caribbean jerk and desert heat. Sauces to avoid — spicy garlic, Parmesan garlic, Thai curry. A snack sized portion is definitely enough for one person. Always ask the server to bring one ranch serving for each person at the table. For some reason they seem to think that one is enough for the entire table. :/ P. S. Traditional beats boneless, always!

Wings here are fine, the space is newly renovated and spacious, and the service is good too. The many times I’ve been here, they’ve gotten my order mixed up a few times, but they’ve always promptly fixed their mistake. However, what frustrates me is the inaccuracy of their late night menu. The $ 3 apps sound great at first, but my order of roasted garlic mushrooms turned out to be nothing like what one would expect. Roasted garlic mushrooms are apparently equivalent to fried cheesy mushrooms, a surprise I regretfully discovered. The other menu items seem pretty accurate, but I’m still disappointed by the lack of attention they pay to details like these that distinguish an average sports bar from a good one.

Went to BWW to have some appetizers and wing while we watch Super Bowl 50. Our server Erica has done a great bringing us hot pretzels, potato wedges, chips and queso. Halftime and wing when the 2nd half kicks off. Lots of people in the resturant and the staff is busy doing a good job.

Bartender is rude and confrontational. We will never visit a Buffalo Wild Wings ever again. Our entire night was spoiled by this cry baby with a chip on his shoulder and a bad attitude. Do yourself a favor. Dine anywhere else.

Bar service is horrendous at this location. The bartenders will happily let a bar patron’s glass sit empty and actively avoid eye contact in favor of sipping their soft drinks and chatting with their co-workers. The second star is for the renovation, which increased the tv-watching area.

SETTING: Nice sports bar with TVs everywhere. You literally won’t miss any parts of the game, even when you are in the bathroom(yup, mini TVs in there too). Pretty clean and spacious. FOOD: Wings were edible. Pretty average and drenched in sauce. Tastes like they were microwaved and then soaked in sauce for a few minutes before they were brought out. It tasted mass produced. SERVICE: Unfortunately, this was the biggest downfall. For such a big chain sports bar, I would think there is a training manual and a solid training session to make sure employees are high functioning and efficient. First, it took about 15 minutes to get our TV changed to the game we were watching. Although staff were very nice, they were also very lost. And today was a slow day, 3:30pm on a Saturday. Our waiter went around the table to write down our drink orders… and then skipped me and left. I guess I blended into the booth so well that I was not recognizable. Came back and got my order and then all our food orders. 10 minutes pass and he comes back to ask if my friend got his order as a sandwich or wrap. Then he comes back at the end with the checks and everyone’s orders are all mismatched that he had to ask us for our individual orders again to make it right. IMPRESSIONS: I’d probably only come for happy hour(cheaper pricing, which is more appropriate for the quality of food served). The service scares me, though. I feel that I would end up spending more time here than planned due to all the waiting and order mix-ups. I agree, it’s a great environment to hangout and watch the games, but improvements with service efficiency definitely need to be made for a better experience.

I can’t believe that I’m about to say this, but: Best sports bar in downtown Ann Arbor! After their recent renovation, the bar is much more conducive to conversation, and with more televisions easily within view, Buffalo Wild Wings is now my Sunday game day go to spot! They always seem to have a drink special running — $ 3 Jameson shots last Sunday. Sadly, frosty mugs are lacking, and their beer is not as cold as similar big name competitors. I have never been a huge fan of their wings or food in general, but they have a more than decent selection of sauces to please most palates.

Renovating this BDubs is a little bit like putting lipstick on a pig. At the end of the day the food is mediocre: If you want burgers — Go to Hopcat or take the ten minute walk up to Casey’s. The burgers here have cheese that tastes like it’s coming out of a kraft deluxe pack. If you want cheap beer — Go elsewhere unless you’re here for happy hour specials which are ehhhhhhhh. If you want Michigan beer — Go to Ashley’s or Hopcat. If you want a beer selection more than your standard drafts — Go to Ashley’s or Hopcat. If you want fries — Go to hopcat. If you want cocktails — Why did you come to a BDubs? If you want wings — They’re aight here, but you can get decent wings at Arena without the service and atmosphere problems(outlined below). But the service and atmosphere are SO. MUCH. WORSE.: If you want Trivia night — Try Arena it’s great. And I hear Charley’s is fun as well. Seriously there are so many trivia nights in Ann Arbor. The crowd for trivia night here is great and super smart. The host on the other hand is bland. Her questions, which only sometimes bring that extra indescribable punch of fun, rarely hit the mark for me. And while she’s quite a nice person and matches music to her set, her delivery pales in comparison to some of the best trivia hosts I’ve seen. That being said come here if you want to be able to get a table for trivia. Or. If you’re like me. And this is where you’re friends go… It’s not bad. It’s just not great either. If you want decent service — Never. Come. Here. The waiters and waitresses universally seem as if they are lost. They don’t really know how to split a check. I came weekly last semester and they got my beer order wrong at least 3 times. When I showed up post-renovation the wait for service(in a half full restaurant) was so long that I ended up leaving 10 minutes after my arrival having decided we may or may not have ever gotten served. And honestly people, the cheesesticks are alright and the boneless wings are ok(although I have strong suspicions that both are microwaved), but with so many other options in the area, seriously, why are you going to BDubs? Why? Not only does going to so many other superior local establishments more directly support the local economy, it will support your wallet, your taste buds, and your general happiness level when your waiter/waitress doesn’t forget your order, mess up your order, spill your drink, or otherwise make you feel awkward and uncomfortable. Ultimately, I get it when people say«ughhhh, I will deal with service for good food I hate it when people write reviews on Unilocal for service,» but believe me, the food is mediocre, but the service here really is just that bad. Stop. Think. Turn around. Walk 1 – 5 blocks away. Then you win. Nice new paint job though and some fancy new TVs. I could see watching a game here if I was 21 or 35 and didn’t care all that much about things.

We came here as planned to watch the NBA playoffs. It’s few blocks from Ann Arbor Bed and Breakfast so it was very convenient to just stroll back if we had to drink more than usual. Well BWW will always be loud but not excessively loud. Everybody was just having fun! We had 2 rounds of cold draft beer, lemon pepper and buttery maple wings and everything went well at the bar. This was on a Sunday night.

We get carry out usually because we have small kids. They always get my order right, but it seems to take them forever! If they tell me 10 minutes, then it takes 20. Last time my husband went there to pick up our food he had to wait 30 minutes and then the food was cold.

I recently started eating meat again after being vegetarian for several years, so naturally, I ordered wings. Note to self: Snack size is more than sufficient. I got the small, which was 12 pieces. I enjoyed the wings — they make sure the quality is the same across all chains. I enjoy fried pickles, so that is always a plus here! Actually, I didn’t know I enjoyed fried pickles until bdubs, so I thank them for that. In general, everything fried is pretty good here. They do fundraisers too, so it’s great if you’re in a student organization. It’s always fun going with all your friends and for a good cause!

I’ve come here twice since moving to Ann arbor. I LOVE the medium sauce but everything else I’ve ordered(salsa, pretzels, sweet BBQ, teriyaki, and lemon pepper) tasted like prepackaged food. Our server also didn’t seem to know much about the beer, which I don’t blame him for but the poor guy should be allowed to at least taste seasonal draft beers! On a lighter note, there are so many TV’s you Dont have to worry about conversation or looking at your ugly date. Score!

My first decent experience at a Buffalo Wild Wings!(Or shall I say«B-Dubs,» as you kids like to call it.) We have one of these back near my home in Jersey. I have only been there a few times, and every time it’s been a total shitshow. You can almost never get a seat at the bar, service is shoddy, and the clientele leaves little to be desired. I also don’t recall the wings being all that memorable, save for the mango habanero sauce, which is indeed very good. Fast forward to my recent trip to Ann Arbor where 10 or so of us managed to snag a bunch of tables in the bar area. We pushed them all together, and the carnage began immediately. I don’t know how many pounds of wings or gallons of beer and shots we went through, but it was a lot. And it went on for hours and hours on end. My crew is very serious when it comes to beer, bourbon, and wings. Surprisingly, I found the wings to better than average. Piping hot, super crispy, and perfectly dressed. I can’t say they beat my favorite wings back home at the Golden Lion Inn, but they were damn good. What really earned them the extra star though was the service. Our waiter was excellent. He was on top of our table all night long. My drink was never empty. And he brought the food out in perfect waves such that nothing ever got cold. Good stuff, B-Dubs! And good stuff the Michigan folks that hang out here. You are all decidedly less jamokey than your wing-loving compadres back in Jersey. I might actually come back!
