The doctor gave me about 4 minutes of his day, the front office was crabby, and the nurse treated me like I was stupid. I have never had such a disappointing trip to any doctor. I didn’t get Dr Cattell, it was a different doctor. I was told I’d get the regular doctor when I made my appointment by phone, but was given a clearly inexperienced person who could barely look me in the eye. I had several important questions to ask, and he gave me about 30 seconds for each.

Very professional staff, courteous and helpful. I have not had a bad experience here and all of my problems have been resolved without incident. I would recommend this practice to anyone. Many of my family members and friends also use Dr. Cattell. Keep up the great work!

Very strong condescending vibe with this place, everyone minus the receptionists. The nurses barely listened to me, and Dr. Caddell (or whatever his name is) is even worse! I could barely get a word in edge wise with that jerk. It is very clear that they have many patients waiting, and you are just one of them, they rush to write a prescription and then don’t forget to make you feel bad for not knowing the ins and outs (to them anyway) of your skin. Never going here again. Got way better advice from my family physician.

I am surprised to see that Ann Arbor Dermatology doesn’t have a 5 star-​rating from everyone. My family and I have used this office for 30+ years. The office staff, PAs and doctors have always been concerned, sympathetic and responsive. The staff (referred to by other reviewers as «the blondes») have been especially accommodating in arranging and re-​arranging appointments, calling in authorizations for prescriptions and all the while being quite pleasant. We have seen many of the nurses, PAs and doctors over time. Never has any member of my family felt that they were treated with less than professionalism. Since we are a fair-​skinned family with an affinity for poison ivy, we have frequently seen the inside of this office – and glad to be there! When a serious skin problem occurs, it’s good to know that relief and great medical care can be found together.

I’m 45 and have had acne since I was 12. I started going here about a year ago and this is the best my skin has ever been. I can count on three fingers the number of pimples I’ve had since seeing them. I have never seen Dr Cattell though, always an assistant. Everybody is so sweet and helpful. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been going there for several years, and quite frankly, I don’t know what the hell I was thinking. They never really did the treatment that they knew would permanently treat my acne — would not even consider it. It seemed they just wanted to keep trying this and that to milk me out of as much money as they could; more check up appointments (to confirm that the treatment was NOT working), new prescriptions, more frustration.
The office staff and the doctors in general are fairly nice, but really, who cares about that if the treatments do not work? I would recommend going elsewhere.
