It’s about time Taco Bell came to this side of Ankeny to join all the other fast food options we have. Pretty soon Ankeny will have every large corporation fast food chain available in a close proximity.
We stopped by here for a dinner craving of their steak nachos, it was okay. The drive-​thru is a standard fast food drive-​thru with standard service. Not too much that sounds out about this Taco Bell than the others.

This location needs to figure out how meet the demand of the business. Spent 30 minutes in the drive thru during the noon hour. For people on time constraints you would spend your entire break waiting in drive thru. Employees were nice but this is a ridiculous amount of time to spend in a fast food drive thru.

I’m gonna keep this short and sweet for now.
This was my first time at their new South Ankeny location. I went here over lunch and it wasn’t too bad. Probably waited in the drive-​thru for about 10 minutes. Not terrible. I ordered a #6 which has 2 Chalupas, a crunchy/​soft taco and a large drink. The Chalupas were over cooked and crunchy. They’re supposed to be soft. Everything else was fine.
It was better drive-​thru service then the North location, so far.
I’ll give it another chance and see what the future holds.
