Living in Angola, the theater from what I can tell is a staple of the Village. From the outside, you see the current movie that’s showing and a few posters of up coming moving they are going to showcase, but once you get on the inside, its pretty nice. From what I can tell it used to be a theater were they used to have plays etc, but has since converted to movie theater. Its your local neighborhood theater and its great for what it does, showing you the newest movies. I am very surprised at the releases they get. You would expect a small theater like that to get the latest movies later on, but really they were able to get Catching Fire the day of release. I believe this is possible because most of the movie distribution is now digital, and all you have to do is download it. The place inside looks like they got newer seats which is great for longer movies. The snack bar has your usual popcorn and candies which I mention the popcorn taste better than you can make at home. The pricing for the snack bar isn’t overly expensive either. I am used to paying Hawaii pricing when going to the theaters(VERYEXPEN$IVE), but the movie and snack pricing is very very affordable here. I can almost see all the new movies when they come out without breaking the bank. The people behind the snack counter is also very friendly. It seems to be family run. Over all its no frills place to go see your latest Hollywood movie blockbusters without breaking the bank. I will for sure be coming back here and watch many more movies. I do wish the sound system was a little better though. The sound system in theaters im used to is heart stopping and it shakes your seat. The sound system in this movie theater, not so much. P. S. They have coupons for FREE small popcorn in the Angola Penny saver which is really worth it! You can redeem more than one too.
