Arrived and waited for what seemed like 5 minutes for acknowledgment of my existence. After frantically running around to serve the two others in my party I placed my order of a simple sliced brisket dinner. It was cut on the chopping board and then he walked to the back with my plate. Came out after a minute or two to hand me the plate which was warm to the touch and the edges of the brisket were singed … They microwaved my dinner. I’m embarrassed and slightly ashamed they take very little pride in their foods quality. Will not go back nor recommend.

Stopped by here at the suggestion of my EMS partner and friend for a quick to-go bite on shift. He suggested the ribeye steak sandwich and he was right. It’s the standard inexpensive ribeye steak for a sandwich cut, but the pleasant surprise was the bun. It’s the same squared off bun with a slightly sweet taste that you find on a lot of burgers here in the Austin area. The fries are obviously homemade and tasty, but they’re a very different thicker cut round fry, almost like the cottage fries mom made for me as a kid. I got a side of BBQ sauce and got the standard thin Houston area BBQ sauce. The staff was also friendly and quick, even making sure to find out how both of us wanted our sandwiches prepared. If you’re familiar with the Goings BBQ chain in eastern Harris County, Wild West BBQ is familiar, especially with the steaks and burgers. After my visit, I went to their webpage and wasn’t surprised to find that the owners had learned from working at Goings. I’ll definitely be back to try some BBQ next time.

Only ate here once but the one time I did it blew Duran’s out the water. I got the sliced beef sandwich which was very good. They put a good amount of brisket on there and served it on a Hawaiian sweet roll bun very good, I will be back to try more !

Finally a good salad in Angleton! I really liked my grilled chicken salad. Good, fresh toppings and the chicken was delicious. I will definitely return for this salad. My only complaint was that the drive through was backed up since some orders take a few minutes to make. This should probably used for call ahead orders only. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Went there today at closing time and made it too late with the doors being locked we decide maybe to go find another place. Just as we were leaving someone unlocks the door to let us in and offered what they had available. We had the brisket sandwich and the 2 meat combo, with brisket and sausage. Overall it was very good no complains. The staff there are so friendly I was surprised I had never really been there. All in all they won me over with the great customer service and good food. I will definately let others know. Thank you guys for putting in the extra time to serve us!

I saw an ad for this place and was excited to try it. We came for dinner around 6:30p, and while there was only one other table inside, the hubby said«we’ll never know until we try it.» Well, now we know not to come here again lol. I ordered the pork rib plate, my husband ordered sausage and brisket, and daughter had the turkey po-boy. Let’s start with mine.. the ribs had a good smoke ring, so I thought they’d be good… nope. a let down. Ribs were not fall off the bone, tough actually and lacked seasoning. The brisket… how can I describe it… you know when you’ve bought pre-packaged cooked brisket at the store? This is exactly what it looked like. sliced very thin… no smoke ring… and barely any taste. The sliced turkey po-boy… first, a po-boy sandwich is supposed to have lettuce, tomato, etc… this one just had the turkey and bread… nothing else. The turkey had a sweet taste to it and was«ok». The sausage was the best tasting of all, but it was also just«ok». All of the sides we had — pinto beans, canned green beans, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with cheese n green onions on top, coleslaw — all sides were bland. These looked good on the steam table, but did not live up to their good looks. This place is pricey. At almost $ 12 for a rib plate, I expect everything on the plate to be fantastic. But as my love said, now we know. We won’t be back.

Great BBQ and a lot of different sides. My favorite is the ribeye sandwich. Cooked perfectly to order and the bun is the best in town.
