Words can’t express how amazing this bridal shop is, when you walk in… The beautiful bridal feeling surrounds you and the selection is just amazing… the lovely jewelry, gowns, veils… Flower girl, bridesmaids and mother of the bride dresses are one of a kind gorgeous. The prices are moderately priced and you will get a couture gown that will leave enough for shoes.
Something blue actually saved our lives because we went to a place in Webster Texas first called «impression bridal», that they ended up holding our paid for dress hostage two months before the wedding because gave them a bad Unilocal review because as they had overcharged us for the alterations on the dress didn’t fit even though they ordered it twice. On a alleged brand new ordered dress full of snags?
Something blue saved the wedding day and At the last minute something blue and they’re great staff helped us find the most exquisite dress that the fit the bride was just perfect for her, the dress turned out to be the address of her dreams. The gown at something blue was a far superior gown. It was couture and a named gown… the first dress she purchased from the first shop was a named designer but not couture.
The dress at «something blue» and the experience was like we went from bridal hell to bridal heaven.
Skip the big city prices take a nice little country drive to Angleton Texas and go to «something blue» and you will find the perfect gown fit for a princess, for your event or that special day. Their alterations person was amazing and a designer he created a one-​of-​a-​kind bussel that was to die for… gorgeous. And they even send your gown out for preservation at a discounted price.

I found a few Stella York dresses online that I desperately wanted to try on. It was early July and my wedding is in October. Many of the dress stores I called said it would be impossible to get the dress in time OR that I would have to pay a large fee to get to dress rushed! I was brokenhearted… my dream dress was not going to be obtainable, but then I called Something BLUE!
This place is absolutely amazing! The shop itself is a small town gem. It is family owned with absolutely wonderful service. I felt like my likes and dislikes were understood and listened to throughout the appointment. Sandie knew exactly what veil to put with each dress and helped me accessorize! Overall, I could not have asked for a better process. PLUS — their dresses are SO MUCH LESS than places in town! The dress I purchased was $ 1000 less than the first shop I called in Houston! $ 1000 is a HUGE difference!!!
I ended up going in and buying my dress, veil, and a flower crown (something Sandie pulled that I HAD to have) the first day I tried on. And I ended up picking the dream dress I called about. Yey! To add to the excitement, my Mom found the perfect dress in the same trip, which made things very easy on her.
I can not recommend Something BLUE enough. 3 generations of a family working together to create the perfect environment and experience and the 3^rd generation — I think she was two — models their flower girl dresses! Such a wonderful family business. I will return here for any formal dresses or bridesmaids dresses.
