This Starbucks location is a must stop at if you are making a trip up to Big Trees as it is your last chance to get a quick drink on the way! The lines here aren’t too long, the service is nice and the inside is clean. Never had an issue here and service is friendly, overall a good place to stop!

If you can, avoid this Starbucks. Drive to Valley Springs or tough it out. As a frequent traveler I’m a regular customer of Starbucks and this is place is the worse Starbucks I’ve ever been to. My breakfast sandwich was tossed across the counter like A farm hand loading a bag of chicken feed in a crumpled bag and then my ice tea straw was flicked to me. What a disgrace to the Starbucks brand.

I was here 3⁄14 to attend my cousins funeral. One of the baristas mumbled a drink under her name and I had to confirm she sweetened the tea twice(uncles order) after that she gave me the most disgusted look like I was an inconvenience to her day. I’ve been in customer service and when you have bad days you gotta suck it up and keep the smile. We are heavy tippers and chose not to leave tips this day. Sweetened tea — great without attitude next time please Mocha in personal cup — great Lemonade-too much lemon Vanilla latte — great Lemon Ale — amazing Pretty much drinks are on point but if staff is rude… Our waiter at chili’s thanks you for his extra tippage!!!

Don’t really have to describe it. Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks. BUT… THIS Starbucks has one thing the others don’t . This Starbucks has Meaghan. And she rocks it. Order a drink… Order 5 drinks… Ordered 20 drinks if you’re in the mood… Doesn’t matter . She’ll get it… She’ll get it right… And you’ll get it with a big smile and a thank you . Great place to start your day!

This Sbux(stock ticker) has everything a traveling retiree could want: quality made drinks, the NYTimes, a pair of clean restrooms, outdoor & indoor seating, and helpful staff. As a security bonus the CHP& local cop pop in for their evening coffee before returning to their rounds. This is my 3rd visit to this particular Sbux: 2 inside &1 drive thru. The music isn’t too loud to talk over, which is a problem at Bay Area stores. I’m sure we’ll stop in again B4 continuing along CA-49 for our trip.

Usually love Starbucks and work near one so I have heard about their secret menu from an employee of theirs. When I tried to order a secret item from this Starbucks, I not only didn’t get what I ordered but when I asked why I got what I did, the girl crawled down my throat saying it is not something they do and the place where they do serve it is wrong and she can take my drink back but she isn’t giving me what I want. This is after we ordered for 6 adults. Will not be going back to this one!

This Starbucks is alright they seem disorganized & short handed with no leadership. I went to go ask for a sleeve after patiently waiting for my next drink to come up & before I could get one word out, the barista’s back was towards me. At least our drinks were right!

This is an A-OK place to stop for a refreshing beverage after camping in the mountains or at the lake. It is easy to find at the corner of Highway 4&49 near CVS. I stopped by this past weekend in 100 degree heat & just wanted something cold & caffeinated for the 2 hour ride home. Everyone was ordering Frappucinos, of course, which seem to take longer than other coffee drinks. The folks who work there are very nice & cheerful. I did seem to wait an awfully long time for my drink, maybe cuz I was parched? When it did come out it was overloaded with cookie crumbles. I guess the cookie crumble shaker exploded on my Frappucino. It was good, but waaay to sweet for me so I ended up only drinking half. It filled me up, cooled me off, & kept me awake so I guess that’s all I really needed. Next time I’ll order something without all the extra toppings.

Scolding hot water from restroom faucet burnt my hands. Seriously the water heater must have been set to «instant boil». I was not in the mood for a lawsuit. Perhaps the next customer is, after he boils his hands alive.

Yup, it’s a Starbucks. Any more questions? If you aren’t pretentious, snobby, or stuck up — try McDonalds around the corner; cheaper and offering a variety of iced and non iced coffee in a few flavors including sugar free vanilla, yay :)

I really don’t like to rate Starbucks Coffee Shops too much these days but this store had something that I had never experienced previously in a Starbucks Coffee shop. Behind the counter is a staff of ladies that are so efficient and friendly that it bears mentioning my fellow Unilocaler’s. In the hundreds of Starbucks that I have shopped at over the years, I have yet to find one as special as this store. It was so refreshing to see all of these ladies taking pride in their work while giving every customer in the store excellent service. If you are at all near this store and looking for coffee, do yourself a favor and enjoy a hot cup of Joe here. P. S. The GPS on your smart phone is going to place this store in the wrong location, it’s about a mile away from what is states on your screen. Unilocal’s fault, not your phone.

Came here on the way to bear valley. I ordered a couple soy beverages and realized I had forgotten my starbucks card, which would’ve waived the extra cost of soy. But the lady there was nice enough to take the cost off AND gave my the sugar free syrup for my drink for free :) awesome!

Gotta love that in the middle of nowhere you can still find a part of «big city»! A Starbucks in Angel’s Camp! LOVEIT! Only came here once on our way out and needed a fix. Venti Ice White Mocha with Soy no whip. Ya, I’m one of «those» people. DH with his Earl Grey — one tea bag out with some ice. Their water for tea is like tapped straight from hell — SUPERFRICKIN’ HOT!

I stop in here all the time. Never miss it when going to Murphy’s or to Arnold. By the time I get done dealing with all the slow traffic, messing with the«snake» I’m ready for a good cup of coffee just to calm my nerves.

I nearly fell off my chair when I heard Starbucks was opening a store in Angels Camp. I went to high school in town, actually it was Altaville, but unless you are a local you probably wouldn’t know that. Anyway, there really weren’t a lot of places to go for a quick snack unless you were a stoner and liked to hang out in front of the mini mart. Um, I don’t think so! I’m not a coffee drinker(shock, I know) but I really like Starbucks’ chai tea latte. I also love their banana bread and zucchini bread. Not as good as mom used to make, but pretty darn good none the less. I think Starbucks was really smart to open a store in Angels Camp. They get a lot of tourist traffic and locals too. Great place to stop on your way home from a snow-filled day in the mountains! ;)
