I called to get a $ 100 gift certificate for my mother-​in-​law and the person on the phone could not have been more rude. They basically hung up on me, even when I managed to eek out, «please, I was just hoping to buy a gift certificate!» It was actually one of the strangest encounters I’ve ever had. Call Andover Nail Spa if you want a gift certificate. Very gracious!

I have been going to Sandy and Mary for years and their services are impeccable. I spend the summer in Maine and travel to Andover just for them!

Star Nails is my go to nail salon! Mary and Sandy run the shop and not only are they talented at their craft, they are so warm and friendly! I look forward to seeing them each time. Their new space looks beautiful!

Not only is Sandy the salt of the earth and the kindest soul you will ever meet, she gives an amazing pedicure. Don’t be startled by the appearance of the shop, it doesn’t look like much but the quality and the service cannot be beat. I will definitely be returning here to have another pedicure.

What a great place to get your nails done! Awesome color selection and great precision. If you show a photo of a design they’ll do it in the exact same way! Very comfortable place with a very friendly and professional staff. They are mostly appointment only, but you’ll see why, people are coming in constantly! What I loved the most apart from their services was that there was no rush. They take their time with every client and focus on them. They have found a lifelong loyal customer in me.

I’ve been here for a pedicure twice and had a great experience both times. Sandy actually remembered me on my second visit and asked about my sister, who had come with me on my first visit. The chairs are comfortable, the color selection is huge, the pedicures look great, and the massage portion of the visit is heavenly.

This place had the kindest and most friendly employees. Their attention to detail was amazing. I had a Pedicure and Shellac French Manicure (for a wedding) and both came out great. The pedicurist Sandy took her time, which I appreciated especially when it came to the massage. I mentioned at the beginning of the pedicure that the massage was my favorite part and she did it extra long! Its not a swanky upscale looking salon if that is what you are looking for, but it has the nice massage chairs for the pedicures and they certainly make up for the lack ambiance with their service! Now if only I could get them to accept credit cards…

I have been going to Star Nails for some time now. I just wanted to say that they do a fabulous job and are conveniently located and have plenty of parking. Now as far as their services go its GREAT! They handle manicures and pedicures and have new pedicure chairs that are soooo relaxing. They have lots of colors to pick from which is great ! I get the shellac done and I love how they have several color wheels to pick from. I am also so undecided so it works out great to see them first. I have even walked in there with photos of something I would like and it has come out just like the photo! It’s a great family friendly salon and they are there to make the customer happy.

Star Nails is by far the best nail salon around. Not only are their prices amazing, and they do a phenomenal job too. I would recommend Star to anybody looking for a great mani/​pedi and I would never go anywhere else! They are so nice and so great to their customers. There is a reason that they have won Best Nail Salon so many years, and it’s the same reason that I haven’t gotten a mani/​pedi anywhere else in 10 years. Star is the best hands down.

I wish I had discovered this nail salon sooner! It’s exactly the kind of place I’ve been looking for.
I’ve been salon hopping for a while. Finding a good salon that’s clean, staffed with people who are professional and seem to really enjoy what they do (instead of just «shuffling» their clients through the process in an assembly line fashion) — well, let’s just say it’s harder to find than one would think.
So I did a random Unilocal search when I was in the area. The glowing reviews from longtime clients of the salon are what brought me into Star Nails.
The owner of the salon and her daughter are so sweet, upbeat and fun to talk to… I fell in love with them instantly. When I left, I had a fantastic pedicure and made two new friends. Such a wonderful experience!

Star Nails always does a fabulous job. They’re very personable, hard working people. I won’t go anywhere else.

This place may be on the smaller side with 3 manicurists, but it has been around for 2 decades for a reason. In fact, I think it’s Andover’s longest standing nail salon and I’m not surprised. I have been going here since 8^th grade (over 10 years), always a french mani/​pedi and always a phenomenal job. My french manicures last a good 10 days up to 14 (I’ve tried many other places while on vacation and literally non compare). Sandy’s french pedicures last me 1−2mths.
They have a pretty straight-​forward list of services (mani, pedi, french, shellac, false nails, etc.), no fancy hot-​stone pedicures, but I prefer their solid long-​lasting work over any posh salon. And they’re clean! In over 10 years I’ve never had any cleanliness issues here (especially w/​pedicures) nor have I heard of anyone who has. I’ve lived in Brighton (about 40min away) the past 5 yrs and that hasn’t stopped me from going to Star Nails whenever I want my nails done – I refuse to go elsewhere!

Star Nails has been doing my nails for several years. It is a friendly family business who take excellent care of their customers. The manicures and pedicures last and look beautiful.
