I made my reservations over the phone while we were caught in the Nov. Ice storm. I was told that they had covered parking, continental breakfast, and military breakfast. The hotel was nice and our room had to queen beds and was very warm and comfortable. I’d stay again. Side note… no covered parking or continental breakfast. They do have a restaurant.

We stay here when we visit family in Wichita. Staff is always very friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean and quiet. Like the cinnamon rolls too.

Excellent service and a great breakfast. I have stayed multiple times and to me as a business travel that can stay anywhere the best compliment I can pay is repeat business. Keep in mind while it’s the standard breakfast the area is very clean and the food is fresh.

We’ve stayed here 3 times, as we have family in the area. The rooms are clean and look brand new. The staff is friendly. We love the fact they take pets. There is a large Dillons supermarket, a coffee place, gas stations, restaurants, and 2 Red Boxes for movie rentals right there on the corner of 54& Andover Rd.

This was my second hotel stop on my move to Texas. When I entered the woman at the front desk was very lively and friendly. Our hotel room was a good size with two beds. Four pillows on each bed, two firm, two soft. Big screen TV. Bed was real comfy. In the morning we went down for breakfast which seemed more like a buffet. Cereal, bagels, bread, sausage, bacon, eggs, waffles. it was really cool. the staff kept up on the food so it never ran out. they filled it up fast. i was really impressed.

We recently were in town for a funeral and stayed here for two nights. I have never stayed in a Holiday Inn Express and have to say I was actually impressed. The hotel is really clean and has a large lobby area that is very cozy with a fireplace and large flat screen tv. They also have a small patio area that was nice to hang out on with the rest of our family that was also staying there. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We had to ask on several occasions for directions since our rental car didn’t have GPS and cell phone coverage for smart phones is pretty spotty in Kansas and they always printed out a map for us. The rooms are nice and there are a wide selection of channels including some movie channels(which you can’t even always get at high end hotels). The bedding was nice and the pillows were embroidered with firm or soft on the pillow cases and each bed had four pillows which is AWESOME! They have suites with mini fridges and coffee pots in each room. They also each have a small couch. I was impressed over all with our stay and they definitely went above my expectations. My family will definitely consider staying at a Holiday Inn Express again in the future based on this experience.

Now, I don’t mean to imply that the Holiday Inn Express on Route 54 is a 5-star hotel. But compared to some surrounding hotels, it is a pretty nice place. It’s all brand-new, reasonably priced and a decent breakfast in the morning. What more could a girl visiting for 2 days for a funeral want?
