What a lifesaver this guy is! After experiencing some unseasonable temperatures at the end of last week, I woke up one morning to a very cold house. I knew the heat should have kicked on in the early morning hours so I went to investigate. After a few minutes of amateur troubleshooting, I knew I had a serious issue. The forecast showed below average temperatures continuing through the weekend and I had guests arriving from out of town. I needed a quick solution that was also easy on the wallet.
I made a couple phone calls that morning to local contractors, but was unhappy with their lack of availability. A friend of mine recommended Gervais Heating and Air Conditioning. At first I was unsure of making the call since it appeared the business was some distance from me. To my surprise the owner, Jason, was more than willing to travel to my home and take time out of his busy schedule to accomodate my repairs that same day. He arrived on time with his assistant and quickly had a diagnosis for the lack of heat. I asked a lot of questions and Jason offered a very detailed and knowledgeable explanation to help me understand my furnace had a bad control board. I appreciated his honesty and was glad he did not lead me to believe I needed a whole new furnace. We agreed upon a very fair price and within a few hours I had a warm home again.
