Gainesville, GA
The Wedgy’s Pizza location in Gainesville, GA was my favorite pizza place growing up, so when I passed by this location by chance while on a road trip I knew that I had to give it a shot. After much debate I ordered my childhood favorite, an extra cheese pizza, just for nostalgia’s sake. I hadn’t had Wedgy’s pizza in at least a decade, so I was afraid that it wouldn’t live up to the vague memory of it that I still had left. As soon as I smelled their pizza, memories of it came flooding back. While it’s not the best pizza that I’ve ever had, it’s still impressive.
I’ll be back at some point, despite the nearly two hour drive to try something a bit more adventurous.

Pleasantly surprised!
I’m not giving this establishment four stars because it needs a better storefront image.
The pizza is very good! The crust is light and crunchy but not too thin. There is a lot of cheese on the pizza as well as the toppings. The sauce tastes like tomatoes and not too sweet. I can taste the Italian seasonings in it. I will definitely be going back.
