Mom and I tried this place on a trip to the casino — it’s nice to have a great new food option there. We had the brisket and the jerk chicken — both were amazing, but I favored the jerk chicken. Sweet potato soufflé. holy smokes, so good! Everything was delicious and we awkwardly spent much of our meal raving about how good everything was. Only a couple downsides which were easily overlooked with how good everything else was: 1) cornbread was just okay 2) the bread for the brisket sandwich was pretty tough. Will definitely be back!

What a great addition to the casino. My parents were recently in Louisiana and ate at Voodoo BBQ while vacationing. They loved it and I heard all about it. Well now I get to try it for myself without the hours of driving. The restaurant is upstairs in the horse betting area. You walk up to the counter and order and they give you a pager to pick up for meal when it is ready. We spilt the two meat platter. We choose pulled pork and sliced brisket. You also get two side, we picked red beans & rice and bbq jambalaya. And you get a piece corn bread. Everything was amazing. The meat was tender and well seasoned. No sauce was needed! But they do have three sauces on the table, I know one was sweet one was spicy and the other was a vinegar based. I tried them but did not use a lot. I want to taste the meat not the sauce. I can’t wait to go back so we can try the Cajun chicken. Yummy!

Be to the location in Louisana. Heard they came to Anderson to the casino we couldn’t wait to go, it’s upstairs small place but just as good as we had before. The slow smoked brisket was very tender and had a good flavor but even better try one of there three sauces, and you can also buy a bottle to take home with you. They have thirteen side items I’ve only tried two sweet potato soufflé and corn pudding. also the cornbread. Maybe next time red beans and rice or BBQ jambalaya or gumbo it’s making me hungry now. Yum yum

Woohoo… all I tried was the cornbread and the fries because we just stumbled upon the place while at the casino(it just opened). The cornbread was something to get fat and be happy about, absolutely great even served cold(that’s how it came). And the fries were fresh, fried just right, and seasoned mmm-mmmm good. Service was good; willing to give us extra butter without flinching and with a smile to boot. I will plan on eating a couple things off their menu next time I go to the casino because their burger is cheaper than the one they offer in the deli downstairs. They have everything from jambala, cajun sausage, to ribs and burgers… I can’t wait to try all of it.
