Third Generation Pizza

We are truck drivers. Just passing through and didn’t want truck stop food. There’s room for bobtail parking next door. No trailers though. Service was good. Décor was very outdated. Pepperoni sticks were good. Nothing was bad but it wasn’t spectacular. Cheese on pizza was good quality and the crust was good. We had a 12″ pizza and pep sticks and bread sticks. Priced reasonably. Not the best pizza we’ve had but not the worst. ^_^

Generous toppings, friendly people, small hometown feel. Pizza really had no flavor, you could taste the flavor in the toppings, but the sauce was really lacking in any flavor at all. I finally ate here after the locals raved about it, but I probably wont’ go back.

A must try for pizza. The service was sufficient, reminded me of a small diner, with the servers knowing the regulars by name. The décor was a bit off putting. It looks like they were going for a small italian diner. unfortunately, the décor looks dated. it could really benefit from a fresh coat of paint inside and out. Started with plain breadsticks with cheese sauce. Breadsticks were nothing special. They were definitely not freshly made, and look like they come in frozen. The rating maker is the pizza. The «round the world» pizza was ordered. It came on their regular crust. The crust had a very satisfying crunch on the bottom, yet soft and chewy on the way up. The sauce was sweeter than most, but worked well with the crust and toppings. There was an abundance of cheese and toppings on the pizza. The pizza was fantastic. I would rate this among the top 10 pizza joints in central indiana. The breadsticks and décor were dissatisfying, but the pizza made up for it. Who cares what it looks like, when the pizza is so darn good. After talking with management, I discovered, the owner is the granddaughter of the original owner of Art’s pizza in Anderson. When Art’s changed their recipe, the granddaughter opened a new restaurant using the original recipes.
