We sought out Rooster’s Landing last night for a burger and a beer, having recently moved to the area. What a perfect place for a relaxing, ultra-​casual comfort meal. The menu is «perfect dive-​bar delicious.» Burgers, wings, fries, Philly’s, etc. Beer and wine only, the place is down-​home, friendly, and real. The bartender greeted almost everyone by name, they have pool and shuffleboard, and the bathrooms, though old, were seriously spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a bar bathroom so clean. The food was delicious, and the bartender/​cook said she just makes it all like she’d like to eat it. Perfect. Great jukebox, too. We ordered a Western burger, tots, corn dog, and fries. All cooked to perfection. Prices are really low. We paid less than 25 $ for all of that plus four beers. Crazy, and we will definitely be back.

This place is a little divey but I love the vibe. It is kept clean and overlooks the Sacramento River and a well kept RV Park.
The boat landing is across the road so it is usually filled with fisherman enjoying lunch and a cold beer. They are beer and wine only but the food is awesome. Some of the best burgers around! The only downfall is there is usually only one bartender who also does all the cooking which can lead to long ticket times. Don’t go in a hurry, this hidden little gem has become pretty popular so you might have a little wait. Perfect for enjoying the view of the river and enjoying a cold beverage. You won’t be disappointed.
