Horrible Service, Excellent Food. I’ve been here three times now and this has been a recurring theme. The thing is, if you’ve ever been to any real New York pizzeria, this is just the way it is. Normally I’d give a lower rating for poor service but that’s part of the experience. In fact, most pizzerias in NYC/NY do NOT even have wait service. It seems like an afterthought here. The servers are always busy helping out in the kitchen or something else. They’re really there to bus tables. Excellent pizza and authentic Italian food. Try the calzone, stromboli, or chicken parm. The location is odd to me, almost hidden in urban sprawl American. Even with GPS it was difficult to find. Again, a recurring theme for good places to eat. Here’s the thing: NY isn’t SC and SC isn’t NY… the owners might want to improve the service a little and check the attitude, because you are, after all, in SC, and it is a different culture. We tend to be kind and polite here, whereas NY/NYC, understandably, is generally quite the opposite. Menu is nice, food is excellent, and I’ll keep going back. I feel like I’m stepping into a Little Italy pizzeria right off Mulberry in NYC. One thing I didn’t like is that the hours seem to change frequently. At least twice I’ve been disappointed by the place being closed at 7pm, despite posted hours otherwise. A little more consistency would go a long way. Pricing is right on par. Quality is priceless. If you’re price conscious, go eat some fake pizza.

Found this restaurant’s menu in the Hampton Inn welcome binder in my hotel room. I called the restaurant and because I didn’t immediately have the address to the hotel, the person who answered the phone spoke rudely to me and then told me to check with the front desk in a rude tone of voice and then hung up on me as I was trying to describe my location. I don’t care how good the pizza is. You WILL not get my patronage EVER… and I will be certain to mention it to the hotel manager as well as all my colleagues who routinely stay here. Horrible!!! No stars(the app made me chose at least one star) for unacceptable service.

This place has the rudest owner I’ve ever dealt with little prick we drove for 15 minutes trying to find being new to the area just to have the door locked them him to come to the dot and tell us when i said 5 minutes i meant it is and it looks didn’t get a pizza was ridiculous!

Update: apparently, they do not offer the buffet any longer. Still the best pizza in Anderson. The Italian food is only ok, but the pizza is the«Best in Anderson». If want to indulge in the buffet, you need to call ahead as its only offered on certain days… which seems to change periodically. If it were based on pizza alone, I’d give it 4 stars(for Anderson). I give it 3 stars based the inconsistent buffet schedule and the Italian dishes.

I have come here for many years now. This place serves the only real pizza in town. They have things other places just cannot give you, such as the Sicilian Pizza and of course the New York Stuffed Pizza(a TRUE pizza pie)

The service was slow, and I had to get our own silverware. The salad bar was fresh but with little selection. I had the chicken parm, but the 2 «boneless chicken breasts» were actually fried chicken tenders smothered in mozzarella. The marinara was greasy and bland, and the spaghetti had obviously been sitting for a while in oil. The garlic knots were tasteless and stale. However, I have to give them credit. My 7 year old loved his cheese pizza and my wife said the chocolate chip pizza was the best she’s had. My daughter liked the meatball sub. I guess I just lost the menu roulette game.

Not impressed. So much grease, the cheese fell off the pizza. Prices were OK. The service was average. Nothing to look forward to.

I cam here with my family for lunch. Apparently they have a lunch buffet, which I did not check out, but from what I hear, many people enjoy it. The service was absolutely terrible! Worst Waitress Ever! Haha, na I’m just kidding! My sister is a server here, so I had to give her some crap. She did very well, even with all the curveballs I was throwing her! On to the food: None of us had the buffet, but ordered menu items. All in all, we ordered two six-inch sandwiches and two calzones. Let me just say, that the portions were more than plenty. I’m not sure how big of an appetite one would need to finish a footlong sandwich, but a sixer should do just fine. Also, the calzones were huge and stuffed with plenty of goodies. The taste was great too. I really have no complaints. I’m a pizza junkie, and when I’m in town, I wouldn’t mind coming back to heckle my sister and grab a bite to eat!

Today was the first time I have been to their new location on Civic Center Blvd. Very clean and spacious as opposed to their old location. The pizza was amazing, I love they use very little sauce on the pizza. Today they had chocolate chip peanut butter dessert pizza that was amazing as well. And I can’t complain about the price of the buffet either! I will definitely be a repeat customer!

i used to work there about 15 years ago-maybe a little less. the owners are craZY. they are egyptian brothers married to nyc italian sisters. they fought all of the time. they slaughtered a lamb or a sheep in the back room one time-for one of their religious holidays. crazy crazy crazy. but the food… is so GOOD!!! the pizza is great-especially for the south. the best is the lasagna. the garlic knots are the best ever. i miss this place-it is small and tacky on the inside but I could eat there every other day.
