Most unfriendly customer service I have ever experienced in South Carolina. The employees here were clearly not interested in being helpful or anything other then getting me out of the store. No eye contact, no smile, no conversation at all, took me forever to get anyone to even take my order. When someone did take my order, it felt like it was a bother to them. I’m not looking to make friends, but this was the coldest customer service ever. The guy making the subs wiped the snot from his nose on his forearm. A tissue, or handkerchief would’ve been great, I guess it’s good it wasn’t his hand. My food was decent.

This was my first time ever to have JJ, and while I am not really a cold cut sub fan, I must say I enjoyed this one. I had The Gargantuan, and at $ 7.75, it was enough for two people. Meat for days. I would have to pay considerably more for this much meat at Firehouse Subs. They also make their own bread, which is delicious. My complaint is this: They have«WEDELIVER» in their windows and on their sandwich wraps, their bags… even on their receipts! WEDELIVER! WEDELIVER! WEDELIVER! But they only deliver 5MINUTESAWAY!!! I live 3 miles from this JJ and they don’t deliver to my house. Hell, who needs delivery 5 minutes away? I can walk that far! At least broaden that out to 10 minutes, people! Especially since you are delivering A COLDSANDWICH, not a hot pizza! House made bread, generous meat portions, reasonable prices, delivery(limited), brewed tea, etc… All and all, I give JJ a thumbs up.

My first time with Jimmy John’s I ordered online and went to the drive through to pick it up. I ordered online 30 minutes before they opened and arrived about 10 minutes after they opened, but the order wasn’t ready. it didn’t take them long to prepare it though. The sandwich was exactly as I ordered it and tasted good yet unremarkable. The Chips were the typical kettle jalapeño chips that I prefer. The tea was good. The Oatmeal Raisin cookie was brittle and crumbly but the flavor was okay. It was an okay experience but not any better than Subway or Quiznos. I doubt I’ll go back unless its convenient. I like Quiznos bread more. Their willingness to deliver in my area may get them another order too.

As much as I want to complain, as someone being used to New York style delis and finding them few and far between in this area, I can’t. Subs are only 8 inches but they do give plenty of meat, unlike many of their chain competitors. They deliver, but the delivery area is really small. I live less than two miles away and was told they wouldn’t deliver. Huge improvement over Subway, but less veggies, which is fine with me, because I like a meat sandwich, not a veggie sandwich with four slices of meat. Their bread is very unique. Location is blink-and-you-miss it. I had the country club, and it was excellent.
