The tea was wonderful. The little shop was friendly and warm. It has a lot of different gifts able for purchase. The old fashion doughnuts are wonderful we heard but they were sold out the time we got there.

Unilocaled a coffee spot and decided to walk here. Quaint shop out front with a small coffee/doughnut shop out back. Very friendly service. I tried the alaskan glazed(forgot the exact name) and found it to be delightful. NOrmally I preferred the non-caked doughnut. But this one was good. Pretty darn sweet but good. The coffee was ok. They don’t roast their own beans. But there were very friendly cashiers that helped me pick some souvenirs to take home.

This is a cute little tea shop in the heart of downtown. I love all of the little treasures that are nestled in among teacups, books, and other odds and ends. I could spend many minutes winding my way around the well-stocked shelves in search of unique items. There is always a dispenser of hot tea to sample, and a coffee section in the back. I like the variety of tea that’s stocked here that reminds me of my years living in the UK. This is the real McCoy… not an industrial franchise. Great warmup stop when walking from my condo to the mall, and very nice people.

The Kobuk is one of my favorite tea & coffee shops in Anchorage. This mom & pop shop is over 100 years old, and has a variety of different flavoured teas & coffees. Their Samovar Decaf Tea is my absolute favorite. It’s one of their oldest house blends, and definitely my favorite in this store. Their café is really cozy, and sell the old fashion glazed donuts.

Wow. Let not the adorable gift shop front fool you, there is serious food and tea to be had here. Let your tastebuds lead you to the back and have an old fashioned. It’s one of the best donuts you’ll ever eat.

Love love love this place! Best chai tea latte I have ever had and I had a delicious peanut butter bar. The staff is extremely friendly and the little gift store is so cute too! Love it. Highly recommend. Only thing is there is no wifi– but not a huge deal.

I came here for coffee and a doughnut and was really excited by the great reviews I read online. The coffee unfortunately wasn’t good. It could have been just one bad cup but I ordered a mocha and there was way too much of the fake chocolate syrup and when I was done my drink there was a thick coating of it on the bottom of my cup. That said the old fashioned Nutella was a great airy doughnut and the cinnamon sugar cake doughnut was fantastic as well. The shop was cute and I bought my girlfriend some great tea there as a little gift. I will probably come back on a follow up trip to Alaska to give the coffee another try because it could have just been a bad cup which happens anywhere.

This is our go-to place to meet up here in Anchorage. The Chai Tea Latte with one of their homemade donuts just completes ones afternoon after strolling around downtown. I’ve never shopped in the store but it has some fun stuff. The staff in the café area is great, that is what keeps us coming back.

Amazing donuts! I had the Macadamia donuts!!! I loved it! There is a cute store in the front with lots of cute gifts and souvenirs! And at the back they have a cute and little donut and tea coffee shop! I strongly recommend this on a tourist list! We loved it!

Love this place. I have bought many presents for friends and family here. The entire staff is friendly and helpful. But most of all… They have AMAZING $ 1 glazed old fashioned donuts. Honestly, I think they are some of the best in the entire US. I rarely stray into their other pastries, but I haven’t had anything bad. Coffee is good, and they have many great teas. I often buy a bag of their signature blend to bring home. But again… The donuts.

Super cute place we stumbled upon when walking around anchorage. The staff was super accommodating, made suggestions, and make great coffee. I had a chai latte and was very pleased. It tasted like a cookie! My friend got a homemade donut and raved about it! They have a ton of coffee and tea choices so I look forward to coming back! My only complaint is that there’s no Wi-Fi :(

Gluten Free sugar cookies and brownies! The mochas are delicious, especially with the gluten free sugar cookie! Loved the gift shop in front. Bought some Chaga mushroom tea with honey lollipops. Very friendly place.

The coffee shop portion is tucked in the way back. It has comfortable seating for a few people and the staff is incredible. They have Italian soda, hot cocoa, fresh baked goods. It doesn’t hurt that you have to walk through the store to get there that smells awesome as well. Nice find.

It is a «tourist-y» type store but that should not deter anyone from visiting. I love their lemon cake, it’s a must try! People rave about their donuts but honestly the cake is where it’s at! The tea selection is just dandy, and they also offer to host birthday tea parties; I saw a group of little girls giggling at a table in the back. I also loooove going through their wide selection of candy and gifts. Please visit this little attraction as a tourist or as an Alaskan looking for something new.

This is a gift shop type store with a coffee shop in the back. The staff are very nice and friendly. The prices are reasonable. The coffee /pastry /snack menu is good. They have lots of flavored syrups you can add to any of their drink concoctions, which is fun. The store part as lots of little knick knacks and gifts. It’s the kind of place my mom would totally love. It’s a mix of both unique to Alaska items as well as other goodies.

Such a great place for gifts and souvenirs! Very cute and tasteful. Great selection of locally blended tees. Very cool, unique flavors. You will find everything tea related here, great place for tea lovers. They also have really cool souvenirs and gift ideas which are way better quality and way more creative than other souvenir stores around. Also great customer service, these people know their stuff.

This place is really cute with TONS of trinkets that are very cute and very expensive! They have a decent selection of loose leaf teas, but I did not partake. I just had a coffee and and a mini donut which was perfect! They have quite a variety of mini pastries for a dollar or two, which was the effect amount for the perfect price :) they also have small seating area in the front and back of the store. It’s very cute and quaint!

What a cute store. Lots and lots of whimsical items for sale. Look for the symbol that indicates if made in Alaska. It’s the polar mother bear with her cub logo. They serve Kobuk coffee. Hence the name. The small café is located in the back of the store. Breakfast and lunch is served as well as baked goodies. The coffee is somewhat weak for my taste.

Always a nice place for Tea and other unusual items. Candy and snackage from all over the world, as well as some really nice gifts. It still has the little coffee shop in the back. I cam in about 5:55pm. The girls working were not happy. They were done for the day and closing at 6pm. There was one other couple there though, so I thought I would do a quick looky Lou. I ended up by buying about 5 different candies. Spent 10.00 which we all know is high. But, you won’t find this every place you go. Next time maybe I will have more time to look around, and make a bigger purchase. I do like that they have a lot of Alaska made products.

The Kobuk is awesome. I went in looking for loose leaf tea, which I found in abundance, but found so much more. There’s all kinds of candy and sweeties both old-fashioned and European. Marzipan… mmmmm! They had all kinds of cool gifts and trinkets there, many of them very resonably priced. From the outside, it looks like it would be over-priced and snooty. But they have some cool, funky stuff at good prices. The gal who got my looseleaf for me was VERY helpful and spent a lot of time answering my questions. Even though they don’t have the largest selection of tea in Anchorage, it’s definitely my favorite place to go for tea. Try the Raspberry Apricot. It’s FABulous!
