Best burritos in town. I also loved the weekly specials, and their honey-sriracha mayonnaise(I could eat that by the spoonful). The burritos are just $ 6.50 each, veggie, and I used to buy at least two a week when I worked in an office just across the street. I’d call in my order by phone and walk over to pick it up. Just terrific, filling, fresh lettuce, guacamole, yum! The manager is creative with weekly specials and tried out a few different things from hummus plate to roast chicken. I was never disappointed when trying out a special. Staff were friendly, courteous, and knew me by name. Shop is clean and the manager uses as many fresh and local ingredients as possible. If you are a regular or just in town for a visit, this place is the best and least expensive lunch in town. Grab a burrito and go eat it down by the Coastal Trail, or in the morning, pick up a breakfast burrito. I’ve since moved, and miss that sriracha mayo most of all. Thanks for many filling meals, K-Street!

OMG! The chicken pot pie is AMAZING. I do have one complaint that I shared with the owner. There’s not enough of it. The really close second is the pork and pinto bean burrito. So big, that it can realistically feed two people and so yummy you’ll want to horde it all for yourself. (Sorry, no pictures. The food disappears too fast.)

Fantastic – from the staff to the sandwiches & salads this place is great. It even has a decent selection of vegetarian items. If you’re looking a bite to-go/picnic, this is a solid choice in downtown Anchorage.

This is a really convenient place when I’m staying in Anchorage to get a quick bit to eat. They have some good deli options, as well as lots of snack items. My favorite is their garden wrap without feta. The wrap is fresh and tasty. The service is ok, and since it’s the closest store/deli, I really dont have many options. The one just thing about this store is if you’re traveling and need just about anything… this place has it.

The burritos are usually fabulous but more and more they are getting the order wrong. I.e. they put jalapenos on it which ruins it. Today my coworker received her burrito with jalapenos on it that she did not want. When she went over to pick up a replacement burrito the owner was rude and told her it was her fault. She had to pay for the second burrito even though she could not eat the first. She asked for the order slip which did not have jalapenos circled on it.

The veggie nachos were delish. The portion was huge. The price is great. This is my new fave lunch stop. I can’t wait to try their gigantic burritos or bowls.

You can think of this place as downtown’s General Store. And I don’t mean a shop to ripoff tourists with trinkets; I mean a place for locals to purchase life’s various sundries and munchies. It’s like a gas station convenience store, except it’s a place you actually want to go! Great, fresh, grab-and-go burritos. Good coffee. ATM(that is slightly cheaper than the one across the street at Brown Jug) And friendly girls at the counter. They have everything you could ever need, and nothing you don’t. If you work/live downtown or are staying at the Captain Cook and you«forgot» something or want to grab a super-quick bite, this is your place. If you’re in your car, in a hurry, parking can be tricky. You’re probably better off hitting an espresso stand.

With K st market a mere block from work, this place is indeed convenient. They make fantastic coffee with K-Bay coffee out of Homer. If I need some nail clippers in the middle of my work day because I am slightly obsessed with nail maintenance, they have that for me. If I want to call in to order a «naked burrito» at 2:30 p.m. because I’m starving and don’t want to wait in a line, they’ll do that for me. If I want to go and just chat casually, maybe even gossip, I can do that, too. They take salads up a notch if you have it freshly made and the burritos are yummy. It’s just a great place for a healthy and quick lunch to go. They run a breakfast special(sandwich and latte) for only 6 dollars. You can find pre-made options as well as daily soups and specials. These guys will likely have what you’re hankering for. I like the fact that they seem to support local as much as possible — you will even find a wall showcasing local musician’s CD’s, cards, and even earrings.

Hands down, the best burrito in Anchorage. And, that’s saying a lot since I’m from Colorado, where arguably the best burritos abound. I get the burrito bowl, and I love how you can customize it however you want. I love this little store. When I’m effectively stranded at work, but need something like an energy drink or a small drug store item, they have it. Grateful for this little gem nearby.

Good cheap burritos and salads and they are fast! The cheapest and fastest lunch place around. Would love it if they could add guac or avocado to the burritos, but otherwise they are impressively good.

I love this place. They’ve got everything imaginable. Their burritos are excellent and there’s plenty of snacks to pick from. They’re conveniently located downtown, across from the Captain Cook Hotel. The staff is really nice. Check it out!

I can’t believe no one’s reviewed K Street Convenience considering the following it has with downtown office workers! In the summertime it’s geared towards renting bicycles to tourists to ride on the Coastal Trail and supplying them with all the sundries they need for their vacations. It’s located right across the alley from Capt Cook, so people who stay there should take note. All year round it’s a favorite with workers in nearby office buildings because this small, sunny, clean joint offers simple and good food fast. There’s readymade grab-and-go items in the coolers such as breakfast burritos and sandwich wraps. They also make a mean barbecued chicken burrito. All of their different made-to-order burritos are pretty popular. They have a little of everything you might find in a drugstore. And best of all, their prices can’t be beat. Downtown Anchorage is a really pricey place to buy food but, for instance, today at K St. I got a veggie wrap, a bag of chips and a soda for $ 7.75 which is a scream of a deal in downtown Anchorage.
