Plain Jane burrito. Wasn’t really impressed at all lol. Waste of money and time. The choices were nice. You could tell the different meats had been out for a bit. And potato chips don’t appeal to me to accompany my burrito. But this place is a good on the go fix. That’s for sure. Meh. I was bored

Pretty good college hippy style burrito place. Not Mexican except for the tortilla. Good burrito. Lacks some focus. But that’s what makes it special. I liked it. I’ll be back. Local establishments deserve support.

Burrito Heaven is pretty popular with the locals and also with the soldiers and airmen too. If you talk to some people about it they’ll swear by this place like it’s the best thing since sliced bread but honestly it IS kind of overrated. Their burritos are huge and I think that’s why people love this joint so much. They think they’re getting a «great deal» by getting so much food for the price. It evens out though as the large burritos run about 10 bucks or so. The burritos are decent and they can make pretty much any kind you want which is nice or you can just pick one off their menu too. I’ve been here about 5 times I think and the same things put me off everytime: the place is dirty. If you look in the back the white walls are covered in black like they’ve never been cleaned at all. If they can’t keep the front of the house clean I can only imagine what their kitchen looks like. Anyone who has ever worked in the restaurant business knows this. Probably won’t be back as I always get violent gas and subsequent diarrhea from eating a 5 pound burrito lol but if you’re on Boniface and want a large burrito than this is the place for you! Just don’t listen to the hype. It’s NOT as great as everyone says. Some of these reviews here sound like the employees wrote them. Huge burritos, good variety, decent taste, restaurant in need of a cleaning, indifferent teenage staff, limited hours, not Mexican in the slightest except for the name«burrito»…Still better than gross ass Taco King though!

Good food … Worst hours ever and they should stop saying that they are open on Saturdays

AMAZING! Along with traditional flavors that are delicious this place has a great selection of specials. Went for the first time and had the Bernie Mac and it was great! We will defiantly be making this a regular spot to eat

You can think of this place as the local equivalent of a Chipotle. Actually, not exactly that, more like a mix between Chipotle and«That one local burrito joint» that every college town seems to have. The burritos are big. You get to choose from a multitude of ingredients. Not only do you choose the meat. You choose how the meat was cooked and spiced. Personally, I enjoy this. I’m a driven, up-and-comer with middle-management written all over me. I’m an adult. I make choices. I stand by them. If you suck at making decisions: A) How are you going to take a lover? B) How are you going to buy a house? C) How have you ever planned a trip? D) They have pre-defined burritos with catchy names for lazy, aimless folks just like you! They also do breakfast burritos, starting at 7am! This is something I’ve wanted to try but I keep forgetting about. Great for picking up something quick on the way out of town if you’re heading north. I’m be back for the brekkierito! I got a chicken burrito with just about everything imaginable on it, then I put hot sauce on it, it was pretty good.

Been coming here for years. Although all their burritos are good, they shine in their breakfast burritos. Best in anchorage. No where else even comes close. Only knocked them down a star because the service can be spotty. Sometimes some of the staff seem annoyed they have to work and take your order. Kinda a bummer but their burritos are so good I keep coming back.

Best burritos in ALL of Alaska. This place is amazing. I recommend the globe for breakfast or the tikki masala for lunch. Don’t plan on eating again until dinner.

I’d rank Burrito Heaven in the top three best mexican restaurants in Anchorage. The food is delicious and made-to-order. I only wish they stayed open later. They close at or before 3:00 everyday, but I would stop by for dinner at least once a week if they were open til 6:00!

This was my first time here recommended by co-workers. I got the chipotle chicken with assortment of add-ons. Very delicious, will definitely come back with the wife.

You can’t go wrong with a good burrito and Burrito Heaven is the place to get them! I am not a fan of their lunch, it’s really nothing to brag about nor special but the breakfast burritos are Amazing! The Globe with country gravy is delicious and you do not have to worry if you’ll leave hungry after :)

Pretty great for a burrito in Alaska! Actually one of my favorite places to eat in Anchorage. Only downside is they’re not open for dinner so we rarely get to eat there :(

Home of the loaded burritos! I went there today, and I was impressed with the oversized burritos. These burritos were more breakfast-like than it was lunch or dinner. Which may explain their obscure hours of 7am to 3pm. Their prices may seem high at first, but once you see your burrito, you’ll forget about it. This review is missing a star for the customer-service. Like others have said, they were unhappy employees ran by teenagers that made me feel unwelcome. I’d come back for the food, but may feel hesitant thinking about it because of the service. On a side note, if you like REALLY spicy food like myself, they offer a large variety of salsa for your burrito. I asked for their hottest which they said the«habanero». I was somewhat disappointed. It was rather flavorless and it’s not as spicy as I imagined it to be. I will be getting a different salsa next time I go.

This place is the most amazing Burrito place outside of California that I have found so far. They make some amazing flavor combinations. I’ve always been impressed by their quality and quantity and the price. It breaks with Anchorage traditions and charges a respectable fee for the awesome amazing goodness in their food. I wish they would have some more seafood flavors every once and a while. But you will not get a better deal in town for a good olé fashioned burrito.

Great place for burritos. It’s better than chipotle and Qdoba. I go to this place at least once a month or anytime I crave for a nice burrito. The workers are nice and friendly. However, they need to improve on the homemade hot sauce(they have different types of hot sauce on the counter) and possibly start making their own chips and salsa. Te place also need renovation and change their décor.

Great breakfast burritos! You will only need one and you probably will not need lunch. The salsa’s could use some work… But that does not stop me from going at least once a week. Breakfast served all day Saturday If you are in a rush call them on your way over and your burrito will be ready when you arrive

Really is heavenly. Big portions. Breakfast burritos are my favorite and they do them well. They also have art for sale on the walls from local artists, which is always a plus. Busy weekend mornings, but worth the wait – and the staff doesn’t get frazzled which is refreshing from this style of quick serve.
