This is a beautiful and tranquil park. The main trail is paved, but there is a nature trail as well. When I went all the honeysuckle was in bloom, so it smelled like heaven to me. I was going to hike the nature trail, but then I ran into Aragog and turned around, okay, the spider wasn’t that big, but I couldn’t find a nice stick to move the web and maker out of the way, so I just backed my ass up and stayed on the pavement.

This is one of my favorite spots in Louisville. Perfect 2 mile loop that you can take after grabbing coffee from the Anchorage Café. What puts this trail above others around here is its shade. Most of the walk is shaded which makes it a lot more enjoyable in the summer. Also, its super stroller and dog-friendly.

Great peaceful retreat in the heart of Anchorage. Winding trails with tree swings, views of ponds and pastures. Plenty of wild deer at sunrise and sunsets complete the serene nature walk. Park is inviting and parking is always plentiful.
