Mexican food! This ain’t your mom’s kitchen but it’s good food for a great price. I know this spot is known for the tacos and burritos(that are awesome) but y’all have to try the carne asada sopes! They have(in my opinion) the best carne asada fries here. I always have a fulfilling meal at Taco Boy regardless of what I order and the staff is always friendly!

Dirty. Food was good though, although low quality ingredients. You get what you pay for.

My husband loves this Tacos. At the beginning that I started going I didn’t like them. But now they got much better. They put more meat in them and they taste pretty good. The red salsa is amazing. I am giving it a four because those restrooms are ugly af. I never go to the restroom they are dirty and they smell. Toilet is so old. And just its not a place where I wanna go to the restroom. They let homeless people go in and they get it dirty.(Nothing against them) but owner should stop being cheap and fix up.

THEBESTTACOS I HAVEEVERHAD. I love to get tripas tacos but I’m always scared that it will taste like a barnyard. I never have that fear when I come to Taco Boy! They are so well prepared and tender, I always order a couple extra. Their asada is also SPECTACULAR. I would come here everyday if I could.

Had high hopes for this place based on reviews. Tacos were okay, nothing great but nothing bad either. I like that they have a salsa bar with the pickled carrots. Price is reasonable. Overall a decent experience, but given the rather difficult location of the place in terms of parking… I probably won’t be returning.

The food is authentic and cheap! This place is growing on me a lot. I had the carnitas gordita for 1.85 $ and it was so loaded! Taco boy you did it again!

Not much good to say about this place… came here late night after Disney to get a quick bite… Man I should skipped… food wasn’t THAT bad… Salsas were uhhh, kinda bad… the verde was ok and I only ate the red because I needed some spice… Idk what everyone is raving about… asada had more than a few pieces of fat in it… Not a fan… they serve it with whole beans not refried which is weird but not a issue… tacos were also just ok… Had the asada, pastor, tripas and buche… Buche being the best one of the pack. but that isn’t saying much. now as far as another Unilocaler said being your strap! Lol… there’s a SEEEEEDY ass bar next door… with its customers openly drinking on the side walk, staring at you… made me kinda uneasy… it may be an ok place during the day time but definitely skip later night visits…

I’ve been coming here for years! The food is decent and you get a lot for your buck. The meat has good flavor and it’s not overpriced. Not the cleanest place or biggest but it doesn’t really matter. Asada sopes are my favorite dish here.

A popular small chain of Mexican taquerias all located in Anaheim. This location, being directly across the street from a Northgate Market off of Anaheim Boulevard, is probably its most visible one. Known for some of the tastiest, juiciest tacos in town and best deals on great tasting, authentic Mexican street food like tacos, tortas, sopes and burritos. Meat choices include asada(beef steak), carnitas(braised pork), al pastor(Shepard style pork), chorizo(sausage), pollo(chicken), buche(pork stomach), cabeza(beef head) and lengua(beef tongue). All tacos are street style sized — which is topped with minced onions and cilantro and about five inches in diameter — and $ 1.21 each. All the meat options are juicy and flavorful: savory, delicately seasoned and salty. The traditional meat choices, including asada, carnitas and even the pollo, were the tastiest and most succulent. I prefer them over the offal meats here. Like most taquerias you order at the counter. Staff is friendly and English speaking. There is a salsa bar in the back of the restaurant and includes pickled carrots and jalapeño peppers, sliced onions, radishes, limes, and a choice of salsa rojas(red sauce) and salsa verde(green sauce). There is a small shared private parking lot between the restaurant and the Juke Joint, a local bar directly on the other side of the lot. If a spot is not available, there is plenty of street parking next to or nearby the restaurant. Located in the heart of the residential section of Downtown Anaheim a few blocks east of the Packing District. Admittedly, the neighborhood could appear a bit«sketchy» and probably a lot more so in the evening. The tacos are worth a visit here, however, and they stay open late. My only suggestion is to probably not dine here alone at night. I’ve been coming to this place for years. I really enjoy their burritos de crane azada. They’re just so juicy and delicious!!! I’ve also had their enchiladas and they’re pretty good for authentic Mexican enchiladas(non cheesy). The birria is also delicious!!! Try it and it’s actually goat meat … Not beef. :) Will definitely keep on coming back. Ps: don’t forget to taste the red salsa … It’s amazing!!!

Half decent food. I’ve eaten here about 4 times and it gave me the runs about 3 times. Needless to say I don’t think I will eat here anymore. But when I am drunk at juke joint and I need some tacos to aid the hangover I tend to forget this food messes with my guts :/ Oh well. Greasy tacos it is. Lol

I love this place. Love the crew there. Love the food. Don’t like the restrooms or the dining area. It’s small but every time I’m in the area, we end up here. Sopes are my fav and champurrado(I’m sure I spelled it wrong). No mirrors in the bathroom but they have them all over the restaurant. I like it because eating a sope with lipstick gets all over my chin and the mirror behind me works great lol. The server is an older gentleman who is always there when we go. Nicest guy ever. It’s next door to a bar so eat then get drinks or drink then eat. They are open late. They used to have one on Euclid in Anaheim too where we used to eat. When it closed I was sad. Later on we found this place. Same owner. Owned I think 3 but lost one. Any who, food is delicious. I forgot Cash only! They have an atm that charges I think $ 2.

THEYTAKECARDSNOW! The place is a hole in a wall. The place needs a good scrubbing. But the tacos are always good. Taco boy serves up delicious tacos. I love their Al pastor. Usually when i eat here, I always get tacos and the sopes. The area is kinda sketchy, you’re next door to two bars, one is a tranny bar, then theres homeless people and a halfway house across the street.

Taco Boy could be categorized as a hole in the wall, but a REALLY tasty one!!! I can’t believe I haven’t write a review about this place, they already know me by name(just like Cheers) and they know that I CAN’T eat anything spicy(I think I have been pretty emphatic about it) Their main cashier, Lorenzo Camacho always have super been nice and attentive(and emphatic about my allergies lol) The place is located in Anaheim Blvd. access is fairly easy and you can park on the right or next door, at the Juke Joint. Yes!!! Taco Boy is strategically located next to Juke Joint, that’s another review that I must write ASAP! I always order my «holy trinity» Tacos de Asada, pollo & pastor and so far I never have been disappointed. This is a low key, real-deal taco joint, if you don’t order to-go is an interesting place with even more interesting characters(I got kinda scared once, but no biggie) Highly recommended, especially if you had some cold ones next door(Juke Joint) PS: Bring some dough, because Taco Boy is cash only :)

— Locale Destination — It’s on N Anaheim Blvd and between W North St and E Wilhelmina St in Anaheim. Just next to «Juke Joint»(dive bar open at 6 am!). It’s in a shabby looking white building that has several shops. This area is kinda shabby little Mexico(;p), so I don’t recommend for ladies to come here alone at night. Bring someone — preferably male. Inside is very outdated, little dingy and typical«Mexican» pop & mom place. Very casual. Lots of tables, some TVs for games, and a small salsa bar. You order, pay at the counter and take the food with you at the table. Cash only — ATM card is accepted! There’s parking on the side, or you park in front of the store, street parking around there or «Juke Joint»?! ;p Menu is relatively small and simple. I’m not a fan of too many items on menu, so this is good. — Gluttony Expedition — Carne Asada tacos: Taco is $ 1.17, but full of meats(greasy and very salty) in it. Their green sauce got a kick of chili and cilantro — not bad. Red sauce is spicy. — Conqueror’s Deduction — I guess it’s good for the drunk people at the next door«Juke Joint». It’s cheap, yet it’s not so my ally. I go to the restaurants for«good» food, not so much of the ambiance, service, nor price. Come here if you like cheap, salty, and greasy food!
