I eat here All the time. My father has been eating here since they first opened and their food is amazing. It’s great quality Chinese/Taiwanese food. Don’t let the interior/exterior fool you. Hands down best in the area!

Absolutely love the food here! Cheap + tasty + large portion + kind staff = awesomeness!!! The only downside is the décor is too cheap, but hey! This is a cheap place for great food, so what’s to complain about?

Amazing food and generous portions! Authentic and hand made noodles!!! Must get the spicy dumplings. A secret hole in the wall find, but you must go in and try. Not your typical Chinese fast food place. Even the fried rice is amazing on its own!

Had the spicy dumpling. It would have been better without so much sesame seeds. Would try out other food next time. Interested in cold noodle.

Actually, it should be 4.5 stars. It’s a great mom and pop restaurant with home made food. We had the spicy wonton, chow ma noodles, and a variety of cold appetizers. My favorite was the smoked chicken with preserved egg. The chow ma noodles was just ok and spicy wonton was good since it had a thinner skin and crumbled peanuts on it. I’d try the 4 item combo the next time but everything looked good and there was enough people eating here that kept everything fresh. Highly recommend. Remember, CASHONLY.

Very tasty food. I ordered egg plants, spinach, orange chicken and pork belly stew. I loved the egg plant the most. If you don’t eat Chinese food often, then here is the expectation: oily. If having little extra oil in your food is not a problem, then this is very very good. Plus, it’s so cheap. My order was $ 8 for 4 items, but me and my bf had to eat into 2 meals in order to finish everything.

CASHONLY. I’m a regular customer and my usual is the fried rice and jalepeño chicken. I also love their Taiwanese cucumber side dish! If only I knew how to make if at home. I’ve brought some of my Taiwanese friends and they say that it tastes very home made and authentic.

Homemade noodles for real! You are welcome like you walked into their home. I ordered off the menu and they made it fresh just the way I asked for it. She wanted me to enjoy the food and was genuinely happy when I did. What a wonderful change!

Today five of us came here for beef noodle soup, no surprise, it is exactly what we are here for — supreme beef noodle soup. Size is good for a guy, but two ladies may share one bowl. It is simply delicious, they know the stuff well.

Delicious, friendly, and really cheap. Got a 4 item combo for I think $ 7.95. It was delicious and there was lots of different options to choose from as well. Hot and Sour soup is something I always get at any Chinese/Taiwanese restaurant and it was really good as well. I am definitely coming back here any time I need to get my Chinese on ya dig? Also my rule of thumb when eating is — when you get into a Chinese restaurant you want to see a lot of their own people in there. That’s when you know you’re probably in for a good meal. That was the case here. Never fails bro.

We were in the mood for affordable Chinese this past weekend, and while we were in the Anaheim area, we saw this sign that said«Nice Food Restaurant.» Our interest was piqued, and once we saw the prices — under $ 6 for a two-item combo with fried rice and soup(cash only, though) — we decided to try it out. The menu is Chinese/Taiwanese; we went with what looked familiar to us off the steam trays. I ordered their grilled chicken and fish w/veggies in a white sauce(the fish appears to be something mild like sole or flounder), and Kathy ordered their orange chicken and green beans with beef. The portion sizes are HUGE… the gal at the counter cut up the grilled chicken with a pair of kitchen shears(just as well, as I didn’t see any knives at the counter). And the food itself wasn’t that bad — we liked the taste of the fish, and the crispiness of the orange chicken(served with diced red chilis) was superb. And yes, you will have leftovers afterwards! The restaurant is no frills — no soda fountain here, though canned chilled beverages are available for purchase. And further proof that this is an authentic hole-in-the-wall Chinese restaurant: Chinese was spoken freely here and between the staff(who were really nice and accommodating). I’m curious about the menu offerings that aren’t on the steam trays, and seeing that there’s Chinese pancakes here, plus at a very affordable price point = more visits to this local business!

I think this place is one of the most authentic tasting Chinese/Taiwanese food place I’ve had in the area. The owners are so generous when they are packing your food, it’s really amazing. I love coming here for lunch because it is so close to work and so cheap for the(large) amount of food that you are getting! I think it is a fairly popular place among the locals since the owners seem to know most of the customers going in. It’s a great place to have a nice, authentic, and cheap meal. Definitely recommend this place!

If you want home-made tasting Chinese/Taiwanese food at a very reasonable price and hearty quantity then this is the place to go(interesting that the English name is «Nice Food Restaurant» but the Chinese words on their sign are«Gold Coins.») The choices they have are fast-food(like Panda Express but far better and more diverse) and on a menu. Everything we eat here is tasty and gives us a full offering. We always go for their fish item, chicken, pickled cucumbers and tofu(plus white rice). My wife ordered their cold noodles and truly enjoyed them. You often receive a serving that is so large it can be packed to go for another meal later on. My only suggestion would be that they make the food a little warmer in their fast-food bin. It is not quite as hot as it should be. With that being said, their lady server is very nice(like the name of the restaurant) and very accommodating to your needs. Quick, good, and nice are the true adjectives to describe this very fine place to eat and enjoy!!.

This place is a gem. A little hole in the wall authentic Chinese fast food paradise. I always order from the menu; wonton in chili oil, pork chops, and different varieties of the noodles/noodle soup, and everything always tastes delicious. The owner(I think) is the sweetest with superb customer service. If you want authentic Chinese fast food, unlike Panda Express, I definitely recommend this place.

Noodle House is closed on Wednesdays, so I Unilocaled this place and took a chance. Looks like lots of locals like it! I ordered House Special Chow Mein(kids love noodles!) and some pork and leek dumplings. As I sat waiting, the woman in charge(speaks perfect English-owner?) brought me a small plate of orange chicken– yum! Not the most luxurious place, but excellent for take-out and I enjoy supporting local small business.

Cheap, delicious food without any wait! Not overly salted or seasoned with msg like other Chinese restaurants so it tastes almost like home cooking. Even my mother loves this place(and she was born and raised in Taiwan and makes the best beef noodles ever!) All the dishes I’ve tried here are yummy. Handmade noodles and free self-serve tea for the win!

So glad I found this place! I got the four item combo($ 7???) and the pork & leek dumplings(16 pieces for $ 8). The dumplings were solid and the sauce was awesome. For my combo, as she was filling my plate, I was wondering if it came with rice or if I had to buy it separately because she literally left zero room for rice. After she closed my box(barely), she then gave me a huge Side of rice. I got the following: — ginger chicken: very good! Solid chicken and I could’ve eaten spoonfuls of the ginger. — beef stew: average. Good taste but beef was a little tough for a stew. — green beans and beef: average, but I would get it again because I love green beans and it gave my combo some much needed veggies. — fish and(veggie): loved this item! Great flavor, even seasoning and nice texture on both the fish and the veggie. On top of that, they were SO friendly :)

I was having high hope for this place because their sign outside written in Chinese is the same as Kingchops in Rowland Hts which was pretty famous for their Taiwanese pork chop rice kind combo meals. However, I am not sure if they two are related and Nice Food Restaurant does not seen focused on pork chop.(at least not too many pics on Unilocal showing pork chop like Kingchops does) I ordered the beef noodle soup. Service was very friendly but I can see the reason they might mess the order. I told the lady behind the counter what I want and moved to the register. The owner asked me again and told the kitchen the order. I was wondering if the lady already told the kitchen the order and I will get 2X. The lady gave me a small plate of cold appertizer said its on the house. Not sure f she saw we have a small group of people or just because I speak Chinese: P The tofu and pickled veggie cold appertizer was good, it’s exact the way it should be. The picked veggie was not too bitter with a hint of sesame oil. The beef noodle soup, the beef was not tender like Mimi’s house in Diamond Bar.(Mimi’s House has the best half tendon half beef noodle soup with superb meat quality). The noodle was slightly overcooked for my liking and I don’t like too much chunk carrot in the soup. Very friendly service. They also brought us some oranges for dessert. They forgot one of our party’s order almost after most of us were done eating. When reminded them. they brought her a free bottle tea drink as apology. I kind like this place because they were really nice to their customers that’s quite unusual. The flavor is authentic and feel like home cooking but so far the food tasted just average to me. _____________________________________________________________ 2nd visit: I went with pork chop rice $ 8.99. It comes with 2 sides. I picked eggplants and rice noodle w/seaweed. The pork chop was thin but big in piece. It’s average, not too juicy, overcooked. The seasoning of pork chop was correct. The eggplants, slightly undercooked so some pieces were harder. flavor was ok. I found 3 green pepper piece in the eggplants that’s kind strange combination.(or from other dishes). The rice noodle with seaweed, flavor was fine but it was overcooked so everything was super soft in texture that’s kind disgusting. Also I found a tofu piece in it. I also had another 4 item combo $ 6.99 The spicy tripe was really good and flavorful, Very spicy though. The tofu and stewed pork was good too… the pork fat melted in the mouth. The rest two items just weren’t too good and I didn’t feel want to finish them. Generous portion, super friendly service. I talked to the girl and found out they have no relation to the RH kingchops. She said probably the former former former owner was from Taiwan so the name was used since. So far the food is just 2 – 3 stars for me. Whoever works in the kitchen does not put enough effort in the food.

Dumplings! Do I really need to say more? Well nice food is a place I would have never seen driving by. But hard to pass over on Unilocal with such great reviews! Nice food has great customer service, and the food is really good! Dumplings are my thing and they are sooo good!!! We dined in and felt at home! Plus the six fortune cookies were awesome for dessert! Lol

Wishing to escape the inevitable slew of P.F. Chang’s and other mind numbing chain restaurants I bolted from my stay near the Anaheim Convention Center and drove about 5 miles away seeking out a hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint away from the madness spotted earlier in the week on Unilocal as a possible home run. Score! Tucked away in your typical urban shopping center there it is, Nice Food Restaurant. Great name! A dive… with phenomenal food. The main course Spicy Lamb Noodle soup was a wondrous bowl filled with shredded lamb, vegetables and hands down some of the finest hand crafted noodles I’ve had in awhile. They were substantial and filling and with the rich savory broth turned out to be the perfect antidote for a bit too much fun last night. Ordered a small side of the smoked chicken and paired it with the Huy Fong sriracha that was available. Happy belly. Chatting with the lady at the counter she asked me if I’d eaten there before when I told her how much I enjoyed it. I mentioned the convention(about 70−80K people) and she said the restaurant caters hundreds of meals there daily for the Chinese people on site that asked for authentic food from home. No surprise. There are dozens of Chinese restaurants between here and the Convention Center. She looked visibly proud of the fact. She should be. If you come: cash only, it’s pretty dumpy, plastic utensils, bare bones, styrofoam cups for the water. Come for the authentic cuisine. The people eating here looked happy. What a welcome relief dining here was. I think I’ll make it through the rest of the day.
