The moment you walk in you’re greeted with a smile and great service. The food is really good too! Had their wedding soup… yum! And their daily special for entrée which was this potato dish that was layered with meat and cheese… I mean common potatoes, meat, cheese and in layers??? What’s not to love. Their beer is well priced to and some delicious German selections on tap were extremely refreshing. Everything has been amazing so far, now it’s dessert time… we order the cannoli and tiramisu. they come out and look sooo frigging good!!! The owner even came out with an extra apple strudel because we had loved everything so far and she wanted us to try that as well! The deserts were seriously so good. All around this place is local, small, great service, amazing food, and all around an awesome place!

Czech Republic. Check! So I have never tried Czech food before and this place blew my mind. While the restaurant has both italian and czech cuisine I strongly recommend trying out the Czech items. We ordered the Utopenci as an appetizer and finished it off with Smazeny Kvetak. The Utopenci were delicious. They are pickled sausages with onions and homemade bread. The onions went perfectly with the pickled sausages, which reminded me of similar Russian sausages that I’ve had before. The star of the day was the Smazeny Kvetak. Although I hardly get excited about cauliflower, this place make it so good. The cauliflower is breaded to perfection, crispy and flavorful. The chef really knew what he was doing. The breading was just right, not too much, not too little. I paired the cauliflower with boiled potatoes and tartar sauce, which added a few more carbs and kicks to the dish. The service was very fast and I enjoyed watching the competitive speed skating competition on TV. You definitely feel more like you are in the Czech Republican than in italy when you are in the restaurant. Thanks Milan!

If you want authentic Czech food this is the place. Their Taste of Europe menu is the reason I come here, my beloved enjoys their Italian dishes. This is the place for something different than your usual food fair. Their desserts are tasty and on an occasional Saturday they have«live entertainment.» The owner, Elizabeth, was featured on «Dining with Peter Dills.» Check out their Facebook page…“Milans Grill.”

We’re always skeptical when trying a new place, but this was a great pick. Food was delicious and the service was quick & friendly. Great little family place offering Italian and Czech cuisine, so there are plenty of options to order a favorite or try something new. We will definitely be back.

A return visit to Milan’s Grill tonight for dinner, and as before we were not disappointed in the experience. I choose to go with the Italian fare, and tried the beef lasagna with ricotta and mozzarella cheese. It was served with a salad(caesar dressing) and garlic bread. I found it to be very good. Some of the other dishes tried tonight were; Chicken schnitzel w/potato wedges, Roasted pork & dumplings with sauerkraut, and Sautéed chicken & mushrooms w/French fries. Everyone enjoyed their entrees. No desserts tonight, everyone was too full from dinner. As always the service was friendly and efficient. Looking forward to our next visit to Milan’s Grill, we have so many other dishes to try.

Just introduced to Czech food, and i am loving it all!!! Must I say, I love bar food!!! Bwahahahaaa then they also have nice meals as well… like beef sirloin in creamy veggie sauce… and filet mignon… two girls could only get too many plates, we ordered garlic soup to fried cheese to potato pancakes to filet and beef sirloin… of course we couldn’t finish them all at the table… but do I regret I ordered that much? Nope. We had them to go… and enjoyed it all again the next day Hahahahaaaa sweet and spicy fillet mignon, imagine of chop steak. but they are better hahaaaa beef sirloin, very interesting… this plate comes with the dumplings… the heaven! Moist and soft and… just so goood!!! Ohhh and their Czech beer from the tab… heaven heaven! And to make our experience better, they were the nicest people ever! Her smile melted our heart… heartwarming place with good food!!! Thanks!

Amazing little restaurant in the Disneyland area Czech food at very reasonable prices. Cold Czech beer too. Expect meals like pork with sauerkraut and dumplings — very authentic fare. Oh the sauerkraut soup was an unexpected surprise that was really good and almost a meal in itself. If you don’t care for Czech food they also offer Italian options. No opinion there as I stayed with the Czech menu

Milan’s is the perfect place for a dinner for two or a large gathering! The service is great, the Czech beer is fantastic, and the food is even better than that! I had the Chicken Shnitzel with potatoes… The chicken was cooked very well, crispy and moist all at the same time. The potatoes are delicious – I’ve never quite had potatoes like these before and I must say I prefer Czech potatoes :) if you’ve never had Czech Tartar sauce you MUST try it, it is delicious! This restaurant is one of the OC’s best kept secrets!

Beer good… food not… food looked nothing like the photos online… and tasted nothing like the Unilocalers said online… one eggplant parm… purchased pre-made, deep fried and then, nuked in the microwave… roast pork with traditional dumplings… also nuked… meat so tough that it bounced when an attempt was made at cutting it… we won’t be back…

Let me start by saying i only gave it one star because i had too or else My review won’t post. Today me and my girlfriend decided to come here because she has been craving Chicken Alfredo for a long time. Little did we know we were going to walk in to the most unprofessional place and receive one o the most terrible service. It all started with the Caesar salad. Your probably thinking Really? Who can mess up a salad… All the components were there but the chicken tasted as if they walked over to McDonald’s, purchased all their old meat and threw it on top of the salad and had the audacity to serve it to me. But now comes the best part. My girlfriend then receives her dinner. Once she saw her plate she couldn’t wait to dig in. She took one bite and her whole expression changed. She said her pasta tasted like sour milk so i tried it. She was right it was awful. We waited for the waiter/OWNER! to come by and ask us how everything was going so we can tell her about the Alfredo and possibly order something else but that didn’t go so well. For starters, she came to see us when I was already finishing MY dinner. When we tell her about the Chicken Alfredo she didn’t even apologize and try to make it right like any rightful owner of any place would. No, instead she proceeded to try and argue with us of how the dish tasted and made it seem like we didn’t know what we was talking about. I mean, we were the ones eating the food. We should know when something doesnt taste right. Then she yells a couple tables down to where the cook was sitting down with some people and tells him that we said that the Chicken Alfredo tasted sour and that it didnt taste right. Me and my girlfriend look at each other and couldn’t believe she had done that. She then takes the plate and storms off with out even asking if we wanted something else. And on top of that she didnt even ask us if we wanted a refill, which we was in need of since we started our meals. She brings us our check and adding on to this experience she charged us for the soup that was included with the Chicken Alfredo. When we asked her why is she still charging us for that when it was included with the pasta she says that because my girlfriend ate it we have to pay full price for it. She told us that that was their policy and that she didn’t know how they did it in other places but thats how they do it. We just paid and left with such a big disappointment. For being the owner she should be ashamed of herself. You would think she would be all for great customer service. But to Mrs. Elizabeth i hope you read this and get yourself together and learn a thing or two on being professional and handling situation a lot better. And if you cant do that you should start thinking about selling the place to someone who actually knkws how to run a business.

Clean place, but the food is really bland not to much flavor looks like everything is bought already made and then Is put together. Garlic bread is very good though.

I understand that this place is an Italian restaurant ALSO, or maybe mainly? BUT, they do serve traditional Czech food, which is very hard to find, if not impossible. Being Czech, it’s like finding a treasure!!! So I can’t speak for the Italian food, since every time I come, I eat Czech of course. And I come a lot, with my family or friends, and we love and enjoy this place a lot! It’s a small cozy place, with an amazing and friendly service. The food is great, and they also serve the amazing Czech beer, Krusovice, and my favorite, Staropramen, which normally you won’t be able to find anywhere else. And if u know at least something about Czech, I’m sure it’s that we do have some of the best beers in the world! If not, there, u know now. So, if you’re ready to try the Czech cuisine along with the great beer, you’re at the right place.

We come here about once a week for the chicken Parmesan and veal Parmesan dinner. I request my chicken to be dipped in milk not egg due to an egg allergy I have. Milan’s is able to do this for me because their chicken is fresh not pre made like a lot of places(Olive Garden & Maggianos). It’s authentic Italian food, fresh bread, salad comes with the dinner. He loves the veal. Quality is always consistent.

Was looking for a good healthy place to carbo load before the Disney Marathon and found Milanos. The wait staff were very friendly and the food was fresh and good. All of us chose from the Italian menu but I’d like to go back and try the Czech cuisine. My only complaint is that we waited over an hour for our food. Had we ordered wine and not had small children it would have been less of a problem. At the same time it speaks to the fact that the food is FRESH! Oh, and the prices are very reasonable!
