This place was OK. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and it tasted pretty good. The chicken was tender and not dry. The garlic naan was good. I ordered the veggie pakora which was a little too salty. The service was good. I was given a little sample of lentils and potatoes over rice which was good. I wish this place has more variety. I like eating proteins and the only chicken entrée they had was the tikka masala.

I am pretty new to Indian food and writing reviews but this place really impressed me. I was greeted promptly with a warm and friendly attitude and all my questions were answered the same way. I was even given a pretty large sample of two different dishes and I ended up choosing those two items for my combo. You can get one, two, or three item combo. Probably more if you wanted. The combo comes with bread and a few other things. The food was extremely flavorful and I can’t wait to come back and try some other dishes. If you are new to Indian food like me or you eat it all the time you should definately give this place a shot.

I was a little skeptical at first when my wife suggested we try this ‘little Indian grocery place’. I’ve been to a couple of different Indian groceries that serve food already and while the food was nice, that’s about all I could say about them… Masala Indian Grocery & Fast Food PUTSTHERESTTOSHAME! I’ve eaten at more than a few sit-down restaurants that could take a few lessons on ow to treat your customers from the staff here at Masala Indian Grocery & Fast Food. The staff is FRIENDLY, ATTENTIVE, and the food is RESTAURANTQUALITY. NO-JOKE! Stop in and try lunch or dinner here! DONOT miss the Garlic Naan and the Chicken Tiki Masala THEBEST! We’ll be back!

Casual Indian food at a great price. The 3 entrée combo is more than enough food to share between two people. Went at 6PM and was greeted and helped enthusiastically. Samples are very generous! Good food served by good people, what more do you need?

Decent grocery place and Indian snacks. Don’t forget to try their appetizers. They can do better in grocery section. Add more variety to spices, pickles and veggie items.

By far the friendliest customer service and very flavorful food! I’m so glad this place opened near me! I always get the creamy chicken tikka masala with rice and garlic naan. Their goat is out of this world since it doesn’t have a bad after taste. The lentils are also tastey! Highly recommend this place for a well balanced healthier and tastier choice meal!

I’m so glad this place opened up near my home. Also, it’s a quick place to eat, as someone else mentioned that usually an Indian restaurant is met with fancy décor. This location is half restaurant half grocery store. The food was great, got the chicken tikka masala. Everyone was very welcoming and wouldn’t mind coming back again.

Definitely not the most friendliest place. I walked in and I get the third degree. After announcing I was there to buy Indian food, I get escorted to the steam tables where my selections are laid out sparingly. I noticed that she put the food out of reach as if I was a dine and dasher. Food wasn’t good, and with the attitude, I’ll just find somewhere else.

This store has a good selection of Indian packaged foods and spices. They even have ready to eat food at reasonable prices. I think they are comparable to Artesia(Little India). I dropped by tonight and it appeared to be the neighborhood gathering place. A number of people were there buying groceries. I was surprised by the number of choices available. I would recommend coming here to shop and grab some take-out food to go.

Been coming here for more than a year now. There are closer Indian grocery stores to us, but we really like this place. Everyone is very friendly and if they don’t have something we need, they do their best to get it. Now they are serving hot food as well, and it’s good food for a good price! We really like the people here so definitely will keep coming back to support them.

Never have I found it so easy to enjoy such good, casual Indian food. Normally Indian food is only available in a sit-down restaurant sort of commitment. This place is casual, delicious, AND it’s a mini market too so you can take home bits of Indian groceries. The staff is small and so is the store, which is why they go out of their way to make sure your stop is pleasant. The naan is delicious but you might wait awhile, so the staff regularly hands out small freebies of rice and dishes to whet your appetite. That’s the kind of attention to satisfaction they have. But what about the food itself? It’s worth every penny. In fact, I thought food as good as their’s would be +$ 8 but choose from what’s ready on the steam table, plus rice, naan, and assorted fixings and it’s only $ 6 tops. And as far as I’m concerned it’s like eating homemade Indian food because it’s just scientifically delicious how their sauces and curries tantalize your taste buds. Even the groceries are worth your time. I used to buy expensive, packaged naan from Whole Foods. I can get fives times the amount from an easy to heat frozen package at the same price. For letting me take home naan at a fraction of the price, Masala Hut has my eternal gratitude. I just wish it was better ventilated.

This place has really good food and good service as well. The cashier is very courteous and kind. When the food was taking a bit long to make, he gave us a plate of food and complimentary desert. Very good and would definitely come back!

I never write reviews, but these guys go above and beyond and totally deserve 5 stars. It’s a family business with an Indian casual restaurant and indian groceries as well. The entire family is involved and they are very hands on. Restaurant– authentic food with variation for everyone. I am easy to please, but my mom can be very picky. She’ll tell them specifically how she wants her food(very spicy and very punjabi), and they’ll make her a special Fresh batch happily, and with a smile. Generally their food is fresh and flavorful. You can always try it first before you order. Groceries– their service continues in this part of their business as well. My mom will ask the owners to call her when certain produce or products come in, and they always do that for us. Also, they’ve even gone as far as to deliver to my mom in the past!!! This is more than good food and groceries. It’s good service and people who take pride in their work.

Authentic North Indian food for a great price and very friendly service. This is a grocery store which also serves food. The intended customers are primarily take-out but there are a few tables if you want to eat in which is what we did. Chhole Bhature was our meal of choice and our daughter ordered a lunch meal combo with Chicken Tikka Masala. They asked our preference for the spice level while taking our order and delivered true to expectations. Our daughter’s meal arrived first with fluffy, hot naans and we were breaking off pieces to tide ourselves over while waiting for our order. When it arrived, we went to work and there was little conversation at the table for a while. We were famished since we had flown in from the east coast and through a series of mishaps, had consumed no more than a cereal bar by the time we dug into this late west coast lunch. So generous were the portions that I barely finished mine and my wife had to take home half of her order. I am generally disappointed in Indian restaurants in the US, so to find a place with really good Indian food is always satisfying. I would go back again in a heartbeat; in fact I think we are headed there again tomorrow to try out some different items!

Very friendly and courteous cashier that helped us look for specific items. We were looking for specific spices and found Bengali five spice and fenugreek for a really good price. We also wanted to purchase basmati long grain rice but they only sell rice in huge bags. The cashier gladly said he would weight out how many pound we wanted and sell it to us like that so that was very nice of him. They have a lot of Indian spices in bulk for a good price and a lot of other products. I will definitely come back.

Super friendly owner that is super courteous and helpful! He has a lot for a small store but pretty much has all you may need to make an authentic meal. I will def. be back here because the prices are good and the owner is super duper nice! Also, he said they will be starting a take out area in there. Fresh hot meals! Can’t wait!
