This place is not good. The teriyaki tofu taste really bad, the vegetables are not fully cooked and the teriyaki sauce is very sour. The Thai curry beef is eatable but not as good. I don’t understand that for the price it costs and for the demand it has, why can’t Disney provide some better Asian choices. A Panda Express will be far more better that it now.

Ate here last night… mind you, options are limited while at CA adventure or Disneyland… you either eat expensive or super expensive… now I’m not opposed to paying big bucks for my food… when it’s good… that being said the food was ehhh… after a while of eating I realized where I had tasted this before… Jack in the box bowl… The sauce had the same sweet taste… we had the mandarin orange chicken and the spicy Korean beef both were ehhh the chicken was a lil better… portion size was ok… the rice was mushy… the beef was full of fat… honestly? Stick with the chimichangas or the turkey leg from the carts… or you can order to go from your favorite place and bring it… after all that crap talking it is the better of the«fast» food I’ve had so far in park.

Tried this place last night and was pleasantly surprised! I got the beef with«Spicy Korean» sauce and the«Lucky Fortune Iced Tea» which is unsweetened iced tea mixed with a little bit of sweetened fruit tea and foam. I think it’s their take on some of the iced teas I see elsewhere that have bits of fruit purée in them. Taste was similar but there were no bits of fruit. I would say that this place is of higher quality than something like Panda Express and I’ve had much worse at actual«authentic» asian restaurants in SoCal. The portions were good for a single person, I wasn’t able to finish all of the beef so I gave my boyfriend the last bit. I really LOVED the sauce they put on the beef, it really was spicy and I didn’t get any weird, chewy or undercooked pieces of beef at all. The rice was fluffy and had the sauce on top where the meat was sitting but if u wanted a bite of un-sauced rice you could get some at the bottom. I would definitely return and get the same thing.

The food is great, and the portion size is really big. There are not a LOT of options, but everything is flavorful and filling!

How could you possibly mess up rice this badly? Holy crap. Skip this place, save 30 dollars, and go get good quality beef at the Mexican restaurant down the street. You’ve been warned.

If you want decent Asian food inside California Adventure that’s not outrageously priced, come on down! My favorite is the curry sauce with beef and all the entrees are served in Chinese food to-go boxes that are larger than normal. You also get a choice of white or brown rice. Yum! Just saw the Lucky Fortune Tea and I want to try it next time.

Super salty Asian food. Ordered the spicy Korean beef and the teriyaki chicken with veggies and rice. Both were very salty. The portions were okay for me but my bf wasn’t full after. The only Asian food place in Disney but overall not great even for park food. Would not recommend it. There are better places around the park.

Had this for the first time. Chicken with spicy Korean sauce. Hardly any chicken and couple pieces of celery on top of mushy rice. Will never eat here again.

It is a very Asian restaurant in Disney California Adventure. It is very popular. A lot of people are waiting there. The staff are so nice. First choose one from chicken, beef and tofu. Then choose one sauce from coconut curry, Korean spicy, teriyaki and Chinese orange. I ordered teriyaki chicken. It tastes so so.

Honestly inedible. I had beef with curry sauce and the sauce was pretty gross. Then the beef was so filled with gristle I had to take it back and get a refund. My husband had the chicken with Korean sauce and it was mediocre at best.

Rice, not so good. Meat, they hook you up with very little. But, it’s all in the sauces. The curry sauce to be exact. Look, for some reason, Disneyland’s food isn’t the best but they mst be sprinkling pixie dust up in there cause it always hits the spot. I would come back here again for Thai Curry chicken over rice. I WILL say the presentation is sloppy. Looks like throw up and … DONOTGETTHEICEDTEA it was NASTY.

Pretty good, teriyaki sauce is good, Thai Curry is excellent. My boyfriend, who is from Thailand, says that the curry is the closest he’s ever had to authentic Thai curry. Chicken is better than beef, and this is coming from someone who doesn’t love chicken. It’s better than a lot of places in Disneyland.

Pleasantly surprised to find Asian food at CA Adventure. Not cheap at about $ 11 a dish and not very large portions. But what do you expect at an amusement park? The dishes were yummy nonetheless and hits the spot especially when getting a «rice» fix. Thai coconut curry tofu was tasty as well as the teriyaki and spicy Korean versions. Two pieces of tofu is what they gave and if they provided a third, than I’d feel more full and satisfied w/my purchase. Service is friendly and fast. Needing some rice instead of fries or burgers, than off to Lucky’s, you should go.

We were in DCA light night and we got hungry and began looking for a spot to get dinner. We came over to the food court and sometimes it’s skeptical because my wife is vegetarian so sometimes it’s hard to find a spot to eat. But this place had tofu options. My wife ordered the thai coconut curry with tofu and I got the chicken spicy korean with brown rice. I guess for the price it’s really not a bad deal. They do however give you a ton of rice. The spicy korean wasn’t too spicy, it was flavorful. I would definitely eat here again if we were in DCA. I say give it a try. I“m willing to try out something different next time I’m there.

Wow this place was really good and for $ 10.00, you can’t go wrong with the chicken coconut Thai curry or the beef sweet and sour sauces

Perhaps there’s some combo you can order here that is good, but I’ve only ever succeeded in getting some pretty blah food. The portions are smaller than the other eateries on the wharf and the dish comes all mushed into a chinese takeout box. I appreciate the inclusion of a healthy proportion of veggies and the options for brown rice, but the sauces are such a let down. The spicy korean sauce is actually spicy but beyond that flavorless and odd. The teriyaki is mediocre at best. When there is a passable mexican place with entrée size portions(rather than appetizer size) and an excellent chowder bowl place right next door, I’d recommend braving the longer lines at those two establishments rather than zooming through the Fortune Cookery experience and leaving hungry and unsatisfied. This place has no line for a reason.

On a somewhat sad note, there exists as close to a shopping mall food court as you can find at Disney’s California Adventure. Tucked between Cars Land and Paradise Pier lies the Pacific Wharf. It’s based on the Cannery Row area in Monterey, resembling San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf in some respect, too. It hosts a number of restaurants, a chocolate shop, and even a beer truck, overlooking a serene bay setting with plenty seating across a large wooden deck. It’s clean, spacious, nice in its own way, a good place to rest and have a packed lunch or quick snack before heading back out into the hustle of the park. The restaurants themselves are a different matter. Some are franchises, like Boudin’s, Karl Strauss, and Ghirardelli’s. Other places probably wouldn’t make it in the outside world; places like the Lucky Fortune Cookery. Let’s start out by saying that this place is not terrible. But, it’s not great, either, and it has a number of other problems going against it. In the list of the bad, we have the high price vs. the portion size. Sure, you may be full at the end, but your food consists of a small scoop of your order dumped atop a large and starchy pile of white rice. Once you eat what is mostly vegetables and a couple bites of your chosen protein, you’ll find yourself just eating nothing but rice in whatever sauce trickled down in your container. Plus, your choices are limited. This is understandable considering your at the park and places need to have small menus for speed and possible large droves of hungry guests. But three meat choices in four sauce choices is not much even for the sparsest of Chinese restaurants. Mix in a locale which, while open and pleasant on a non-sunny day, has the potential to be a loud a sweaty nightmare due to the fact that most park visitors will eventually congregate at the food court. On the positive side, the taste is alright, for the Thai Coconut Curry, at any rate. It had good heat and the coconut lent some nice sweetness to the dish. Yet, with barely any chicken and mostly rice to fill my stomach, I’m not sure I can recommend it highly. This much cost for so little non-filler, and drinks being all the more extra … it’s tough to point other park goers in this direction. — — — - And for the Disneyland Reviews List: Taste — Or the Overall Flavor: * *(and a half) Again, the taste is there, it’s just that there is so little of it. Normally I wouldn’t have much or a problem spending cash on food at the park, but the portion size does leave a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. Convenience — Of the Seating & Service Options: * * * * Pacific Wharf is large with ample seating, despite serving a number of restaurants. The only real problem is the lack of shade for a lot of the benches. Still, on days when the park is only half full, you can easily find a place out of the sun. Value — Will you walk away satisfied?: * Every place in Disneyland is relatively over priced; the trick is to find food that will make you not want a snack two hours later, despite what you pay. Typically, paying around $ 10 per person is what you should expect, but still have a filling meal. No, this place is not worth the money. Just the simple rice and entrée break the $ 10 mark and you don’t get a ton. Mix in a drink with a side and you’re looking at spending much more than you might be comfortable with. Kid Factor — Is there entertainment for the young ones?: * * * All there is is the scenery, but it is quite a view. I don’t think I have ever seen characters wander through or a band play, but it is close to the parade route if you come a bit after dinner hours. Regardless, with scenery that includes Paradise Pier and the midway, along with Cars Land next door, and you can spend a good amount of time with the kids along the waterfront.

Bordering on unacceptably terrible and«meh, not bad for Disneyland food» is Lucky Fortune Cookery at the Disneyland California Adventure. Why is it unacceptable? Sticky/soggy rice and horrible mass produced corporate sauces. Why is it not bad for Disneyland food? The protein portions seem to be larger than the rest of the parks and the vegetables were actually grilled fine. The Teriyaki was the better of the 2 we chose. Avoid the Mandarin Orange. It was horribly tangy and over pungent, not marrying the meal in the slightest. You order at a window and it is pretty quick service. Don’t expect anything different from a cruise ship or buffet type of meal from the quick service dining anywhere in the larger theme parks, ever. Aside from the convenience lucky fortune for price vs. value would not stay in business on it’s own in a shopping mall food court. However if you are locked into a theme park it isn’t the worst choice you could make.

My husband and I are a fan of Lucky Fortune at Disneyland. We stick to two combos though, either the Chicken Curry or the Korean Beef with brown rice. We usually share and take it to the Wilderness Adventure park and eat while the kids explore. It’s easy to walk around and eat and it’s a good meal. Although I’m proficient in chop sticks, I grab a fork, especially when we are walking around. They have packets of Siracha near the utensil station on the right, it’s kind of important that you grab at least one. When eating this, I wouldn’t compare it to Chinese, otherwise you will be disappointed. Think of it like Flame Broiler and you will be more content. They do give a pass holder discount and give cups of ice water for free, so you can keep the price down if you want to.

Fans of Hungry Man, Lean Cuisine and Banquet frozen dinners can swarm to this spot near California Adventure’s Paradise Pier for some not-so-tasty treats. Lucky? Perhaps. Tasty? No. Everything is in the name and Lucky Fortune Cookery does not necessarily mean tasty or good food. I had the bowl with the orange sauce. The bowls have juicy rice and salty taste, No lines and food served fast might make you consider eating here. Think twice. There are several other fast options in this park that are far superior than the food I had. $ 15 bucks later and I was unhappy with my food. Thank goodness nearby Ghirardelli’s chocolate rich ice cream soothed my upset stomach and salty tongue. They do use pass holder discounts. «Me thinks not!»
