This is a culture shock a few miles from my house. I felt like I was in the movie the hills have eyes. Interesting spot and the lady did not know what soy milk was. NOT vegan friendly.

nothing fancy here… casual, easy. but EXCELLENT FOOD!.. EATING here is like you are eating in your moms kitchen. Everything here is freshly made. Lots of baked goods. excellent omelettes.lunch, breakfast and dinner specials. I love it and its in walking distance from one of my friends place. Oh and dont forget to try the biscuts and gravy. home made delicious! just dont expect fancy décor. go for the food. posted photo in my check in at larrys.

Grew up coming here as a child. My mother worked there when I was young always loved the feeling eating there like a part of the family was cooking. Barbra always kept the drinks full very attentive. Breakfast burrito is amazing. Mushroom burger amazing. Just FYI.

I have been eating at Larrys For well over a decade, the food has always been Decent some days better then others, but the food is not the reason I love to go there. Barbra, Larrys wife (Larry has passed on now) is one of the sweetest person I have ever met. She has rememberd my name even after not eating there for years, because we had moved. She always puts on a smile and most of the people who eat there have been for years! If down home cooking and atmosphere sound nice, Larrys cant be beat, Ill be there.

Quite possibly the only place in Placentia where you can say something like «geterdone» and not get your ass kicked.
Food is average, but in a good way. Wait, does that even make any sense?
I’d advise against eating anything on the counter as I saw flies making camp over the baked goodies.
The grandma waitress is such a darling and provides great service.
