Just Grillin’ Express

I never write reviews — but the staff was just soooo rude that I had to post a review and say how deeply disappointing this experience was. After getting back from a long day a Disneyland and just wanting chicken tenders and a hot dog for the kids (they were out of chicken) — the order takers were ridiculously rude. There were hardly any people in line so no excuses for being busy. Don’t go here if you want friendly service try sbarro.

Cashier was rude! She was staring at me like I didn’t have money or something and when i was ordering she was like «what?!». Worst customer service. Burger was okay. Tried the salmon burger and turkey burger. Not that great.

Just bought some chili cheese fries, had to wait which I dont mind when they are actually cooking the food when you order it. The fries where so bad, some of them were burnt and they all tasted like they were cooked in OLD oil. I actually took 3 bites and just threw them away. Dont waste your money

Fast food at it’s worst. Was in a hurry so grabbed a quick burger and fries. A better choice would have been to skip lunch.

We went here for a cheer competition and thought we would try out their turkey burgers and fries with a Bada Bing Cherry Italian Ice. The italian ice was so delicious. I loved it! The burger and fries were okay, nothing special. Food could have been better, maybe I just caught them on a bad day. The prices are not cheap so be ready to spend for the meal. If I go back, it will be for the italian ices. The Manager there is very nice and he let me sample the italian ices so I could choose the one I liked. Great Customer Service coming from him.

Truly disgusting breakfast sandwich — fake eggs, served on a hamburger bun??? Save your time and money — this place is horrible.

I asked the guy working there if their burgers were good. He said yeah really good. The Verdict: If u like your burgers dry as f* then go for it. Should have known better than to ask an employee. McDonalds taste better than their sh*t. If u have to get something get the chilli cheese fries but stay away from the burgers! You are better off going to gourmet food trucks outside. Spent almost $ 25 on 2 burgers n fries. Overpriced garbage.

The chili cheese fries are affordable and tastes awesome!

Terrible over priced burger plain and simple. I watched the guy at the front return multiple orders to the back for getting them wrong. On top of it all to make it a cheese burger costs you at least .75 cents more, the patty is hardly anything at all. Better off eating at another place in the food court there.

Just gross. I went there to get a salmon burger and they said they are only serving breakfast. So, I got the egg sandwich. When I got the sandwich (from the girl at the counter with no personality or smile), I opened it. It was 2 pieces of bread and 2 microwavable round dry egg patties. Nothing else. So, I took it back and asked them to add lettuce, tomato, and some cheese. When I got it back, I opened it. There was too much cheese, gross. And the tomato looked like it was cut about 4 days ago. The bread was dry with no mayo or butter or anything. They charge 7 DOLLARS for this sandwich– extra 75 cents for cheese. Anything at McDonald’s would have been better than this and would have cost less. They should be ashamed. None of the people working there would have ate this sandwich if I served it to them:-(

In a small food court of the Hilton Anaheim, my little boy and I stopped to pick up some dinner and avoid another sticker-​shock in-​room dining tab.
Just Grillin’ Express has an extensive list of burgers and I chose the mushroom/​bacon one, perfectly cooked. Two char-​grilled patties per burger (hope you’re hungry!) and a «side» of fries to share with my little boy who had a plain hamburger just as huge.
About those fries: Order just one.
I had my suspicion that at $ 3.75, the portion would be generous, I just didn’t expect «obscene.» Dusted with paprika to give ‘em a nice kick, I felt bad wasting most of them; it was just too much for two people.
If you have to choose between Subway, Baja Fresh and Just Grillin’, pick the char-​grilled burgers at Just Grillin’ Express. They were delicious.
You can come right after the pool and put it on your hotel tab too, nice. No wallet, no problem.

I’ve tried pretty much every burger here while I was out on a weeklong conference trip. The staff is pretty nice, and they’re pretty fast about it. I tried the smoothies as well, which were ok.
Honestly, most of the food is average, but there is one thing that is worth checking out. Get the salmon burger. Hands down, solid burger with a little spicy kick and lettuce tomato that totally makes it worthwhile.
Price-​wise, it’s a little expensive, but then again you are in a hotel dining hall.

I have been twice during this current trip, and am not impressed. The burgers are fine… what you would expect from a food court I suppose. The woman who helped us both times was not friendly at all! I had hoped for at least a smile or a thank you.

Ordered the Mushroom-​Swiss Burger and it was Outstanding! In fact it was so good I had it again with fries and drink the next day. Whatever they dialed in as their signature sauce is absolutely fantastic, has a great kick!

Some of the grossest food I have ever half eaten and thrown away. Smoothie was half water, not slushie at all, full of seeds, and bitter. Chili cheese dog was luke warm to the point that the cheese didn’t even melt. Hormel canned chili is less disgusting.

So, here I am again. I came to this place on Saturday March 30^th 2013 during a convention. The prices did not look so bad so we ordered a turkey burger, and two cheese burgers one of which no onion, 3 Fries, 2 of which no seasoning.
We got 3 total burgers, one turkey, 2 cheese burgers all three minus onions and 3 seasoned french fries.
**** My Turkey Burger had a glove tip in it from a finger of one of the workers gloves.****
I went back in stated I ordered a burger no glove. The lady showed it to the cook and they both spoke in Spanish and were laughing about it. I once again got my Turkey burger without onions. So done with that place.
Also they were due for a health re-​inspection, apparently they already failed one within 30 days.
I will be contacting Hilton, and the local health board about it.

It’s a food court burger. Not terrible, but not great, just good, especially if you just need something quick. It can be crowded during lunch and dinner time during a large convention. If you want a good burger goto the restaurant inside the hotel.

Ugh, terrible burger. The patty was super thin, and it was actually chewy and tough. It was like a beef jerky burger. The fries were tasteless, even with seasoning, and they seemed to have been sitting out for a long time.
This place is in the Hilton’s creepy little food court, with its gray walls and dim lighting. Weird place to be eating a fast food burger.

I ordered the ¼ lb burger and it was fantastic. Great bun and real cheese!
The server was happy to help me and my burger was ready in just minutes.

This spot is located inside the Hilton Anaheim. My experience with this establishment was not great. I had the turkey burger… it was nothing to write home about… its not a fresh formed patty thats for sure… but it was not so bad I could not eat the burger. The fries… I left them all behind… not good. I did have to deal with a lost ticket. They called numbers beyond mine and when I brought it to the attention of the person behind the counter she worked on getting it resolved quickly but only apologized at the end of the situation instead of apologizing right off the bat. This location serves people attending conventions who need quick and accurate service. They should take Express out of the name of the establishment.
