Just what I needed to finish off an exhausting, yet fabulous day at Disney. I had a macaroon which I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. The best thing about this restaurant, for me, timing… we came here just before the night parade so I could sit in the outside table and watch the parade. Well worth it any day of the week.

The Jolly Holiday Bakery is perfect if you want a quick snack or some coffee and pastries while you’re enjoying the park. They have ample outdoor seating, with views of Main Street, USA. Their food consists mainly of sandwiches and soups, plus cases full of delicious baked goods and pastries. The cast members working the registers are super friendly, but what’s new?! Definitely try… –Their cupcakes, especially the blue 60th anniversary chocolate cupcake. –Opera cake. It’s like a teensy tiramisu. –Raspberry lemon tart. My absolute favorite! Not too sweet, but tangy and delicious. –The famous Matterhorn macaroon. This is über sweet but so mf-ing good. Their coffee is pretty delicious too.

Matterhorn Macaroon was cute and delicious. The éclair was filled with chocolate cream, topped with chocolate ganache and crunchy pearls. Super good! Can’t speak for the savory items, but the bakery stuff was tops!

This place is good for lunch or if you want a light dinner. We’ve tried the chicken sandwiches which was good, but we’ve mostly like the grilled Cheese sandwich with the tomato soup. Kids enjoyed their Mac n cheese comes with juice and baby carrots.

the salted caramel macaron was so good– it had a great chew, and i loved the flavor. it was a completely different macaron from the raspberry rose one i tried last summer, which i found to be soapy tasting and that was more hard/hollow rather than chewy like i wanted. surprising because you’d think that the same macaron shell recipe, technique, etc would be used for both. my chocolate mint whoopie pie was pretty disappointing. the cake was fluffy and moist, but it didn’t pack enough of a chocolate punch. the seafoam green buttercream filling tasted like fake mint rather than true peppermint extract. four stars for the macaron, two for the whoopie pie, so three stars for this trip to jolly holiday.

Located at Main Street in Disneyland with outdoor seating. While visiting Disneyland this past Sunday with my husband, we ended up eating here for lunch and regret it. When we first arrived around 12 pm, we had to wait in line to order(everything in Disneyland has a line, especially on a busy holiday weekend). The line to wait was not as long as I had thought, but it took 20 minutes before we finally got to order. Then after ordering, I decided to look for a table outside. It was pretty hard to find one, as other patrons were already sitting down to reserve their table while someone else in their party orders the food(which we should have done). But luckily, after walking around several times, a couple was just about to leave and I was able to get their table. My husband ended up waiting about 30 minutes after we ordered for our food. This is what we ended ordering: Grilled Vegetable and Whole Grain Salad, $ 10.49 prior to tax– Dressing automatically come on the side. This salad comes with a piece of garlic cheese bread. I really liked this salad because of the flavors and textures of both the grilled vegetables and salad mix. The whole grains in the salad also made me feel satisfied with this salad. I also did like the garlic cheese bread as well. Overall this salad was pretty good, but a bit pricey(but being in Disneyland, that seems expected). Pastrami Sandwich, $ 10.79 prior to tax– My husband ordered this sandwich for lunch. It comes with chips, which were pretty good and a good amount. The sandwich itself was good and nice to have added onions. Whoopie Pie, $ 3.99 prior to tax– This cake part of the pie itself was okay, but the mint cream between was pretty good. I thought this was good, but probably wouldn’t want to order this again. — — — — — — — — - (Total= $ 25.27 prior to tax) This place was really disorganized. They took so many orders but were not able to fulfill them on time. There were so many people waiting by the wait area after ordering. I wouldn’t recommend coming here, especially if you have some hungry patrons wanting to eat right away(especially hangry, impatient children).

Jolly Holiday bakery? Yes please! I love Mary Poppins and everything related to the movie! I was starting to get a little tired and sleepy so BF suggested a sugary snack to get me going and of course next on my list was this. There was no line when we got in and I was so distracted by the ginormous 60th cupcakes that I forgot what I was wanting to order. BF said macaron! I then proceeded and told the nice lady I’d like a Mickey macaron please in which she asked me which one? There’s more than one flavor?! More choices I shouldn’t be given! She suggested this one was new and pretty good. If I remember correctly I think it was passion something(sorry memory not great). I went with it! She went to grab a pretty Disneyland 60th plate and I’m thinking that I can just have it on a napkin assuming it’s a regular sized macaron. She told me my total and I was like whoa that is more than the usual price of macarons but hey it’s Disneyland no surprise. I paid and waited as she went and got me what I ordered. She handed it to me and I gasped with my eyes so huge that my BF laughed and so did the lady. This macaron was as big as my hand, like no joke you guys it’s like 4 – 5 of your regular macarons smushed together to make this giant Mickey macaron. We left because I wanted us to be snacking and on the go so we don’t wait too long in lines for rides. But before that of course I had to try and take an artsy fartsy pic with my treat and so I held it up with the Matterhorn in the background, perfect! I didn’t know where to start with it. It was too pretty to bite into. Like do u bite an ear off first or what? So much thinking so BF just said bite his ear in which I did and ahh the sweet and slightly tart taste in my mouth. I don’t love it and I don’t hate it either but maybe I’ll try a different one next time along with the many other wonderful treats they have! Minus one star for kind of too sweet and tart taste of it.

This is one of the most popular and better places to get some yummy sweets and desserts in the park. I have been curious about this bakery for quite some time but was often deterred by the massive lines out the door. Finally no long lines and that sweet tooth actually kicked in during the day and I wanted to make sure that I didn’t miss out on anything so I finally made my way here. There’s no way you can miss this place, you will be drawn to it whether you are walking down Main Street towards the entrance of the park or walking towards the castle. They have a nice spacious outdoor seating area as there are no seats inside. The menu isn’t too big, while I seem to think they are really famous for their desserts(the Matterhorn macaroon in particular) they also have breakfast items and lunch sandwiches. I wasn’t too impressed by the looks of the sandwiches, they looked like they were kind of thrown together. Although I did hear the grilled cheese and tomato soup was well worth it. I may have to try that on my next visit. I came to try the Banana Foster Cheesecake which I saw in many pictures and different Disneyland Foodie sites and it looked so yummy. While I ordered that another yummy looking and very pretty dessert caught my eye and it was the Tiramisu. I’m generally not into Tiramisu but this version looked very different so I just had to give it a try. The Banana Foster Cheesecake was definitely for those who really love banana, the taste was almost a bit too overwhelming for me. All I could taste was banana flavor, no chunks of banana at all and the top seemed to have a swirl of caramel I’m guessing but I could not taste that. The texture of the cheesecake and the graham cracker crust was perfect but the taste just threw me off and I probably would not order that again. The Tiramisu was the real star here! It had this glitter looking topping with a yummy ladyfinger coming out of the top, that is what captivated me. The custard was super creamy and sweet, had just the right flavor and texture then it led to a small layer of these awesome chocolate shavings which brought a different flavor to the custard. Towards the bottom there was another layer of custard and then finally the espresso soaked ladyfinger, I really liked that you are not overcome with a strong espresso taste and it was not overpowering. This was definitely different but one of the best renditions of Tiramisu that I have ever tasted. I’m such a fan of this place and there are more desserts I intend to try and I highly recommend coming here if you’re looking for some good sweets.

If not for the slightly pricey cost, this cornerstone of Main Street would be a dream come true. The food is a great option for taking nourishment while keeping to your park schedule. And the bacon and egg croissant was a god send. Two thumbs up for that!

Can’t rave about the yumminess of this place enough. It’s my absolute favorite when I’m in Disney to come in here and get some coffee and a treat. Flourless chocolate cake is rich and wonderful. Chocolate peanut butter whoopie pie is hands down one of the best treats in all of Disney. And the Matterhorn macaroon is the best macaroon ever and a heck of a Disney deal for $ 1.99. They also have breakfast options and a yummy tomato soup!

When I was at Disneyland last Tuesday this was one of the places my friend & I had to get the mickey french macaron! I myself bake macarons too, so tasting someone elses’ is pretty rare. We got the Raspberry French Macaron! It tasted delightful. I love the fresh raspberries and the cream. It’s a sweet cookie but it balances from the sourness of the berries!

Decent coffee food but sandwiches are a bit steep with little meat to bread ratio. $ 10+ and I was expecting a bit more to be honest. Seating is really good though i say grab a corn dog from the cart or a hot dog from refreshment corner and take a table. It’s way easier to navigate than across the way at plaza esp with that shit long line for the chicken and the corn dog.

My friend and I had a whirlwind day at Disneyland. We brought our own snacks into the park and munched on them throughout the day, but we wanted a quick bite to eat before our 1 hour drive home. We each decided on the grilled cheese and soup combo. The meal was about $ 10 each plus tax, so just shy of $ 11. This did not include any drinks since we had brought our own water bottles into the park. Service at the restaurant was fast enough, my food came up very quickly. This establishment is counter service. The grilled cheese and soup were tasty, nothing special, but fairly decent food for a theme park. There were many great looking cookies and treats, which looked tasty, but were a bit on the expensive side. I opted out on the dessert, but maybe next time. We ate our meals outside and it was nice to see some of the parade floats go by while we ate. Not sure when I will get back to Disneyland, but I would try this place again. This place seems very kid friendly too and fairly reasonably priced for Disneyland.

YESSS! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. My bf and I wanted a «light snack» around dinner time to hold us over until the end of the night… so we could get real food(read: 1am phở) after we left the park. We wanted to share a bowl of gumbo from the whatever Veranda place, but the line was massive. so we went here instead. We shared the Holly Jolly Holiday combo, which was a grilled cheese sandwich w/a bowl of tomato basil soup for $ 10! Not a bad deal for Disney prices. The sandwich is on a thick piece of toast(Texas toast?), and was crispy, grilled to perfection. The soup was flavorful, but lacked basil flavor; however, a hot bowl of soup in cold weather feels magical. There’s just something so comforting and wonderful about a warm grilled cheese sandwich dipped in tomato soup… winning combination. Over all, a good snack to share and it held us over for a few hours.

While a lot of people think of the Jolly Holiday bakery as some holiday eatery that just sticks around all year long, it’s actually themed based on «Mary Poppins», and I’ve seen many a revelation to this fact as people stand in line and take in the details that surround them while they wait to order. The grilled cheese and tomato and basil soup is always welcome comfort food. Eat them separate, or dip your sandwich, but always good. All food here is good, so just see what tickles your fancy. They have your standard fare of Disney beverages, but also some unique ones like the Practically Perfect Punch, the Frozen Pomegranate Silver Sparkler and Very Berry Diamond Tea(for the 60th anniversary celebration). While these are all quite tasty, they’re also a bit pricey for the amount you get. I suggest asking for«light ice» or «no ice» to get the most bang for your buck. Also, since this IS a bakery, there is a wide variety of baked goods to appeal to your sweet tooth(a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down). The Matterhorn Macaroons are always a mountain of coconut goodness. Be sure to take a picture holding the macaroon in your hand with the actual Matterhorn ride in the background, y’know…because that hasn’t been done before. They also have special seasonal offerings at different times of the year, so stop in and check them out. I doubt you’ll leave empty-handed. As with all the eateries in the parks, this place will get busy at normal mealtimes. However, because of its location at the end of Main Street by ‘The Hub’, it’s also pretty crowded around parades and fireworks show times. If you’re flying solo at the park, you’ll have to take your chances finding a table. Otherwise, have someone find a table while you’re ordering because there’s nothing worse than coming out with your tray and having to hover through the sea of diners trying to anticipate their departure without looking like a total jerk/vulture. Once you’re seated with your food, you’re golden. Enjoy!

Love this place. I usually get a Mickey Mouse cookie. I usually get it to take home. It’s a decent sized cookie and usually takes me a couple of days to finish it. It’s got a subtle lemon flavor and the top is dipped in chocolate with a piece white chocolate on top with Mickey’s face painted on it. His face looks kinda crazy if it accidentally melts. This time I got a Holiday Shortbread Cookie($ 3.99) and a Matterhorn Macaroon($ 1.99). I’ve had the holiday cookie before. It’s delicious. It’s just like the Mickey cookie except it’s shaped like a snowman and the top is dipped in either white chocolate or a white frosting with red and green sprinkles. I got the Matterhorn Macaroon per suggestion. Can’t wait to try it! My brother got his yearly Gingerbread cookie fix. They also served regular food like sandwiches and salads that I’ve yet to try. Everything looks delicious though!

This bakery was hit or miss for me. The Smore’s bar and Matterhorn macaroon are absolutely incredible. But the Caramell maple bar and the maple cream Brulé were not that great. The service was quick and employees are very friendly, as to be expected at Disneyland. They don’t charge for water which is nice. And they have some great seating options outside if you want to watch the parade or take in some people watching while enjoying your food!

When I first got my Disney pass, I was going through some rough times in work, in life, in general. Disneyland was a big part of my healing process of coming around and becoming happy again. It was common for me to come to the park by myself just for the fireworks show. I would stop in at Jolly Holiday and get either a coffee and a Matterhorn Macaroon, or the abuelita(cinnamon hot chocolate). I’d find a good spot and watch the fireworks and know that life would be okay again; I will always be grateful to Dland for bringing that hope back into my life. The Matterhorn Macaroon — best bang for your buck dessert. You will love it. Unless you hate coconut. Then you might think it’s just okay. The Abuelita — Magical. Yes, I know it comes from one of those push button machines. But somehow I don’t care. Whatever liquid comes out of the machine will bring you happiness. Gingerbread man — worth it. I wouldn’t recommend any of the other flat cookies, but this one is good. The raspberry macaron — more expensive than it is worth. I’d say it’s worth three dollars. Jolly Holiday combo — Probably their #1 seller. Not magical, but it’s a good option. And great if you want your kids to share something because they cut the grilled cheese into strips.

The food is a 3… BUT We went during the parade of colors and the place was of course packed… After waiting in line for about 15 minutes and right when we are walking up to the counter they take down the sign of the soup. And guess what I was craving… So to my disappointment I asked Chris our cashier if they still had any soup and he said no. Of course, the big baby that I am I got sad and got a sandwich instead. Chris gives us the total, we pay, but following the no sad kid rule of Disneyland, he gives me a big a*s cookie! Score! Props to Chris for excellent service and a shotgun reaction to satisfy a customer!(Management take note this was around 8pm on Nov 5th)

Great café for lunch when in Disneyland! Great fresh selection of sandwiches and fixings of the likes. All of our selections were fresh and very pleasing. The drive up was about an hour, and standing in line to enter the great Disney kingdom surely worked up an appetite. There was no line, as this little nugget is sort of tucked out of site. I suggest downloading the Disney app so you can locate restaurants and attractions easily. We ordered the following: Caprese sandwich, turkey sandwich, Mediterranean salad & tomato basil soup. For beverages we ordered one Diet Coke and 3 water bottles. The Diet Coke came out as regular Coke a cola, lol. But it only took a couple seconds for the sweet gal behind the counter to correct the mistake, and she even offered for us to keep the Coke a cola too. So sweet. All in all try em out and you’ll make em a go-to stop, when visiting the magical kingdom! :D

Pretty great quick service food place at Disneyland. During a busy Saturday lunch, the lines moved quickly and efficiently. We got the Woldorf Sandwich(very tasty, but slightly too much bread). The Caprese sandwich was also great, with a tasty balsamic dressing. They also had many bakery treats, but was unfortunately too full to enjoy them. They had Mickey Macaroons and Pumkin muffins that looked good. The chips with the sandwiches were a bit of a disappointment. Overall a pretty decent place to eat at a theme park!

Home of the giant Mickey macarons and Matterhorn macaroons! It’s hard to miss Jolly Holiday when you are walking towards the Castle from Main Street. It’s on the left hand side, is brightly lit and they have quite a bit of outdoor seating. My partner and I came here for a quick breakfast before some serious lengthy walking around the park. They don’t serve up their lunch sandwiches until 10:30 am if you’re looking to grab some lunch. For breakfast, they have the ham and cheese quiche and the breakfast croissant. We got one of each to eat. They came out fairly quickly and we grabbed some outdoor seating in the shade. The ham and quiche is on the smaller side but is yummy! The egg part of the quiche is fluffy and there are nice small chunks of ham throughout the entire filling. The crust is flaky like a croissant and easily bitten into. I only wish it was served a bit hotter. The quiche came with a cup of fruit. I think they should make sure each grape doesn’t have a stem left on it. Furthermore, the pineapple was not very ripe. It was a bit on the sour side. The breakfast croissant is filled with egg, cheese and pieces of bacon. The croissant itself is smaller than ones I’ve had but still had the buttery flaky texture. Although the filling was heated up, the croissant wasn’t. It would be better if they had an option to have the croissant toasted or heated. Overall, it was still a nice breakfast sandwich to snack on. It also came with a cup of fruit on the side. Of course I couldn’t leave without getting a dessert. They have both macarons and macaroons(yes the two are different). The Mickey macarons are huge compared to your average circular macaron sandwich. Although I love macarons, I really wanted to try the Matterhorn macaroon. It is also bigger than your average circular macaroon, but bigger is better! It’s cheap and is so delightful. There is so much coconut flavor in this macaroon. It’s soft on the inside but slightly crisp on the outside and there are a ton of coconut flakes. The top of the mountain is sugary which adds a bit more sweetness to the already sweet macaroon. I loved that it was shaped like the Matterhorn. I would definitely get this again. The total racked up to a little less than $ 20. Disneyland is more on the expensive side of course. Though the portion size was smaller, the prices seemed cheap compared to the other places.

Mary Poppins is one of my favorite classic Disney films, so needless to say I adore the name of this bakery. I also am madly in love with penguins whom just happen to be the star in their beautiful stained glass windows. The yellow paint and white wrought iron café tables outside really make for a quaint atmosphere. The perfect spot to kick back and enjoy a sweet treat. When you walk inside you can chose the line to the left or right.(Pro tip; always pick left as most people are right handed and therefore chose that absentmindedly). The items are the same on both sides, it’s simply a way to keep traffic flowing. They have a variety of freshly baked delights including muffins, cookies, croissants, cupcakes, brownies, tarts, and macaroons to name a few. They also have sandwiches, soups, salads, and an array of beverages like teas, sodas, and coffee drinks. I came solely for the Matterhorn macaroon. It’s made to look like the ride and is truly a coconut masterpiece. The macaroon itself is perfectly light and cakey and the icing is crunchy and sweet. It’s the best macaroon I’ve ever had and by far the tallest. At only $ 2.50 I’d say it’s a steal. If you come for nothing else you must at least try the macaroon. And make sure to get the obligatory picture holding it up with the Matterhorn ride in the background, because all the cool kids do.

I wasn’t real sure about this place when it first flew in with the winds out of the east and landed at the end of Main Street. Soup, salad, baked goods? Hmmm… So, I tried it and I was definitely not sorry, I even came away with a cheery disposition! Of course I love having a corn dog, but sometimes I just want a great meal that’s different and not too heavy and maybe a little healthier. There are all sorts of really awesome cookies, cupcakes, muffins and such. Adorable ones, creative ones and just downright yummy ones. Great to have a spoonful of sugar with your hot tea, espresso or coffee, if you choose. Quiches are a nice warm breakfast option, served with fruit. Several juices available as well as strawberry milk and other beverages… but they never serve castor oil or gruel. My favorite lunch(or dinner, depending on the time of day) has got to be the Grilled Vegetable and Whole Grain Salad. Really filling and hearty, I don’t even think it needs the dressing! Barley, spelt, grilled veggies such as zucchini and peppers sit on top of fresh greens. It’s really a nice change of pace! The other salads are good too; Chicken Caesar and the Jolly Holiday(which has Craisins, feta and pecans). The Grilled Cheese with Tomato Bisque is perfect for a chilly evening(or anytime, c’mon it’s CHEESE!) and so is a bowl of any of their soups. There are a few other sandwiches that are HUGE and great to split plus a kids menu with a couple of different items. It’s nice to sit on the patio and people watch or catch a parade going by. We like to time it so that we can listen to the piano player next door at the ice cream place. Make sure to grab your seat spit-spot when you see that you can catch the Dapper Dans performing their singing routine next door too! Very enjoyable and… practically perfect in every way.
