im kind of a regular here. i work right down the street. i come once every 1 – 2 weeks. love their dishes. ONLY reason they get 4 stars and not 5 is because they their info states they deliver. go to their web page, also states they deliver, i call in an order for delivery… they dont delivery. –_– c’mon… fine. i still drove to pick up my food.

2 thumbs up! The people here are always very pleasant, the restaurant is well lit, AIRCONDITIONED, clean, not cramped, and the food is fresh amd flavorful. I usually get their shwarma sandwich lunch special and it never dissapoints. Also, the baklava here is DANK.(in the best way). If you like yogurt dip, try their cucumber dip.

Good Mediterranean food! And man does this place gives you a lot of food. I had the chicken and beef Kebob plate. Also got the free baklava for checking in on Unilocal. Not bad at all. I would have never expected to find a good Mediterranean restaurant in this area but here we are. Try it out. You won’t be disappointed.

I love Mediterranean food and this place is so good. The combo shawarma plate is delicious and the garlic butter is amazing. I love how it’s good quality food in a casual setting/fast food. Very clean & the staff is always friendly. I’d recommend and go again. Definitely worth a try

I stopped in here after looking at reviews on Unilocal and Trip Advisor. The food was just ok. They serve average sized servings and the food is relatively bland and not very flavorful compared to other Mediterranean restaurants I’ve eaten at. I had hummus and a gyro plate. The food was warm but not hot and it lacked any real appeal after a few bites. I likely wouldn’t go here again. They do give you a free dessert to taste at the end which is nice.

Food is delicious, service is friendly and helpful. The free baklava(first time customer, given on the house!) is a discovery I never knew I needed to make. Clean, airy, bright dining area. I’ll definitely be back!

Staff was very friendly. Food tasted great. I ordered falafel and veggie pizza. The baklava was the best ive ever had!!! This is a great location and the food is halal. I will be going here after I pray down the street at the local mosque. It feels good to support islamic businesses. Salaam!

Not bad, I enjoyed the lamb kebab. It has a nice flavor to it, was a little dry and not super tender. Fast and friendly service. The baklava was okay. I’d come back if I was in the area to try something else, but wouldn’t go out of my way to come here. The hummus and baba ganoush was tasty.

Why this place is not packed baffles me! Great food, kind service and baklava with cream cheese! One of my newest favorite spots!

Very yummy and well made food. Lots of fresh flavor and the positions are quit big for the price you pay. The food is ready promptly and the staff is so nice.

The service is always corteous and the place is nice, but the star here is the food. The chicken kabob is amazing… And the garlic butter! This is my go to place for late night dinner after work. Wish they had delivery, but can’t ask for everything!

I’ve always driven by this place because I work right by it but I have never actually stopped to try it. So today on my lunch I went in hoping to eat something flavorful and light, and I found just that! I tried a veggie plate and it satisfied my cravings. To start the woman who took my order and served me was very helpful and also very polite. The plate had a salad that was so tangy and refreshing and 3 falafel also made from veggies. It also had eggplant made into a delicious creamy dip, some hummus, pita bread. I also tried their Baklava and it was AMAZING. This wonderful dessert made of layers of filo has honey and walnuts. Mine had a bit of crème inside that made me want more.

This is a delightful little Syrian food restaurant with excellent food in a very casual environment. The portions are very generous and the prices reasonable. We had a feast of the Greek salad, the beef Kabab platter, the vegetarian platter and the grape leaves. We also tried a couple of the mini ‘pizzas’ and were gifted with a free baklava. Delicious!

I couldn’t bring myself to check in for a free baklava because that would mean I would have to say something positive. Sorry guys. This is your typical take out place so no fine dining to be found here. Also no free water is not very classy. Granted the meal was descent the kabobs were ok and the lentil soup was ok. Even their pizza was tasty. Normally this would be a four star place but the fact that I found a piece of metal wire in my soup is an automatic one star deduction. I probably should take another star off for no free water but I’ll leave it as is. Let this be a lesson to other similar places. Watch what you put in your soup and offer free water!

On a whim after a long day decided to try this place after driving by it for so many years. I should have waited longer. A not so clean Mediterranean-pizza joint. Not for me. Got it to go. With the exception of the kabob meats and the free baklava the food was gross! Sorry no pic’s of either. The kabobs were ok but I ended up tossing out the rest of the stuff. The stuffed grape leaves yuck! The falafel overcooked yuck! Kabobs … Tasted ok. Tabouli sucked. Lots of baked goods. The baklava was good. Guess I’ll keep passing by

Unilocal check in offer for a free baklava which was outstanding! Nothing else really matters since the baklava was so good I had to get another one. I can just remember it in my mind and i am starting to salivate… yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm baklava! SOOOOOGOOOD! ok i will let you know that the shwarma was pretty tasty too… I came here to have lunch with some co-workers who were really wanting to eat it… and well eat it we did. Perhaps inhaled it would be a better description. The service was very friendly. The cashier had a giant smile and was excited that I had a Unilocal check in offer and helped pick out the piece of baklava for me. She picked one of the biggest pieces that I have ever seen, let alone eaten =D It was literally the size of my fist! Ok back to the non-desert grub, the shwarma was tasty as can be. I loved the rice as well. I wasnt as into the veggies but yeah that is kinda obvious for me as I am sure you all well know by now. The coworkers did love the whole thing a lot as well. It wasnt the best shwarma but ti was pretty tasty to say the least. We have plans to go back sometime, I just dont know when that will be. Regardless it is some tasty stuff and will continue to be so I am sure…

The menu items at this restaurant are a good representation of Syrian cuisine and reflect the diffusion of cultures that has settled in this country and have greatly influenced its cuisine. Unfortunately, I felt meat dishes lacked the great flavors that is often associated with Mediterranean food. Both the beef and chicken shawarma were dry and rather bland. I asked to replace the pita bread that comes with the shawarma plate, $ 9.99, and this was a mistake. I was expecting the flavor infused rice that often accompanies dishes at many Mediterranean restaurants. Instead, I got some plain basmati rice. The baba ganoush, $ 4.99, was average at best and the Mediterranean salad was rather plain and imaginative, certainly not worth the $ 6.99. The best bets here are the very savory and creamy lentil soup, $ 2.99, spinach pie and cheese fayatar(both mini pizzas are $ 1.99). The baklava(varieties range in price, $ 0.99-$ 1.49) is also very good: light, flaky, nutty and not too sweet. I felt none of the dishes were big on flavor and their preparation were not on par with some of the better Mediterranean gems throughout the city of Anaheim. Great service. The young lady working as cashier and server is very friendly and helpful in suggesting dishes to order.

After a strenuous bootcamp session, I wanted 10 Doritos Locos Tacos. But I fought the urge, went past Taco Bell on State College, and opted for a healthier meal. Imara(?), girl at the counter, was nice. I ordered a chicken kabob plate, and extra tabbouleh. She offered that I could substitute tabbouleh instead of the regular salad in the combo plate for a $ 1. I still wanted extra tabbouleh anyway and asked for a Greek salad as substitute instead. She said that could be done, however when I got home, I realized my Greek salad did not have all the ingredients. It did not have olives or dressing. But I got over it, as soon as I poured tzaziki all over the salad. Good plan. The tabbouleh, however, was not sour enough for me. I prefer Pita Hot’s. I had to put extra lemon juice from my fridge. Imara had also asked if I wanted a ground chicken kabob instead of having 2 regular chicken shish kabobs. Why not, might as well try it. Great choice! The chicken kabob was tasty, and not dry, perfect with the garlic dip(which was not too strong though), but the ground chicken, was surprisingly packed with more flavor, with more herbs and spices. It had the consistency of meatloaf which might be weird for some people, but I truly enjoyed it. I was also offered free baklava with cream while I waited, what a nice surprise! And this was no cheap, dry, yesterday’s baklava. This was flaky, and fresh. Baklava is usually too sweet for my taste, and the initial bite was, due to the syrup drizzles outside, but because the inside was unsweetened soft cream, it almost evened out. I also thought I could taste a hint of rosewater, much like Mezza Mediterranean Grill, but less sweet. I did not see any rotisserie chicken on the menu, so if that’s what you are looking for, might as well head to Pita Hot. I am glad I stopped here instead of Taco Bell. I feel great when healthier food tastes good.
