Their sandwiches are the best. Great selection of breads and toppings. I love the marble rye bread. The meats are always fresh. Much better than subway and less expensive.

we have been buying honey baked hams for years and have never been disappointed. Bought a 9lb this year for Christmas dinner, and what a disappointment. It was so salty tasting & horrible, not the delicious honey baked taste of prior years. We should have bought one at the grocery store and saved ourselves the money. Won’t ever buy honey baked again, they have really gone down hill

I think this is the last time we’re going to this honey baked ham store. For thanksgiving and the last few orders, we got ham that was mostly bone, honey was just a liquid oily mess on the bottom and the ham was so crumbly. Parking was bad and we even lined up to pickup the ham. The workers don’t care either even the girl who serves sample.

This place is a lifesaver. I admit that I procrastinated getting something for thanksgiving dinner. So the morning of Thanksgiving of course I had to make it out here to pick up a ham. Drove to 2 other locations which were both closed and came here and they were open! AND no line!
Ended up picking up an 8 lb ham for $ 60. Super happy!

In the depths of HoneyBaked, behind the temple of glistening hams and plump turkeys, there dwells a secret shire of sangwiches available all year round. Make a stack with your favorite Thanksgiving goodies or build a favorite foundation of BLT or roast beef. Plop a side of potato salad and call it a lunch.

My family ordered a Deep-​Fried turkey for Thanksgiving and it was awful. It was cooked in old oil and as a result, tasted terrible. We had to throw away the $ 70 11lb turkey, very disappointing and ruined our family meal.
This was our second time ordering from this company but first time ordering online from this branch. I recommend not to have meat shipped through mail as the quality can degrade.
Please change the cooking oil regularly as a restaurant is required to do so.
We will not be doing business with this company again.

If you are going to go to Honey Baked Ham for your Thanksgiving catering, do not go to the other locations. We made the mistake on the morning of the day before Thanksgiving of going to a closer location to try to pick up and they were out of turkey and gravy and just had ham and a few side dishes left.
We ended up just going to this more flagship location, a location we have had success with many times before in the past. It is in a much larger building and even though they had been open for several hours on the day before Thanksgiving and we did have to wait in line for like 1 – 2 hours it felt, we were able to score a smoked turkey, gravy, mashed potatoes, cranberry, and candied yams. They were out of stuffing and Alfredo spinach. No one was picking up the cheesy potatoes and baked beans so they were giving them out as samples.
We didn’t get the ham this time, but I do enjoy the honey baked ham from here and a number of people in line we talked to were here to pick up just that to complement the turkey and side dishes they were planning on doing at home.
Service was outstanding and prices are so utterly reasonable, actually shockingly so coming from Manhattan. I’m too use to paying double for everything in Manhattan than what I pay here when I visit SoCal.
Thanksgiving food from Honey Baked Ham is an excellent complement or stand-​alone catering option for Thanksgiving. Though why they don’t have any pies and only cheesecakes I do not understand. If they had pies, I’m sure pretty much everyone would pick at least one type up. After all, Thanksgiving is all about excess food and that is why it is so much fun. Well, that and family, of course.

Worst customer service ever! The employees did not know prices of anything and were unwilling to find out. It was a Thursday when I went into the store in person, I told them I wanted a cheese tray for Sunday (for a bday party), I said I would pick the tray up on Saturday since they said they were closed on Sunday. I called on Saturday for the price info, there was no answer, called on a Sunday to see if by chance they were opened and they were. When I asked if there was a tray available they said they needed 24 hr notice and another employee said 48 hr still no one knew the price. Just ewe to their non-​helpful, non-​friendly, non-​customer service employees.
Btw I can’t rate the food since we were unable to get it when we needed it, so we did not end up ordering from here.

Avoid this place if you could. Manager is not about customer service! Unwilling to allow me to utilize my $ 5 off coupon towards a ham from Survey Mini and coupon stated I could use it without having to buy a ham. I know they have their own coupon with buying a ham but seriously worst customer service. Feel sorry for the employees! Happy thanksgiving. Oh I forgot to mention to be careful about your turkey purchase. There was a recent turkey plague and killed 7.7 million turkeys! I bought an 11 on ham and they didn’t include heating instructions!

Customer service is seriously lacking or nonexistent at this location! I was forced to go to this location, unfortunately. The Honeybaked by my house did not carry a particular product; so I called no less than 10 times at various times and no one ever picks up. I drove about 20 minutes each way to only be greeted by silence… So I stand in line and finally get to the front, young guy silence, um hi can I place an order for next week, sure there’s an employee by the door that specifically does that. Ok, btw I tried calling several times and no ever picks up the phone, does it work? «Ya, but we NEVER pick up the phones, see some people are calling right now» with a slight chuckle… WTF! Then the person by the door that does special orders was no help at all, she was so new that she couldn’t answer any basic questions I had. Needless to say about 10 minutes of me asking her questions she said «I have to go on my break and just left, seriously no exaggeration! On her way to her precious break, she asked another employee passing by if he could help me. He started to approach me then was distracted by another customer who ask him a question and he proceeded to help her instead of me. This will be the last time at this location for me, I don’t care if the food taste good, if you have horrible customer service and experience, it makes everything taste better!
Update, Negative stars — I picked up my pre-​order and noticed as soon I got home, of course they got it wrong! Seems like the norm at this location.

Please don’t ever ever come to this honey baked. Cashiers don’t even know basic math. You present a coupon to them and they add it to your total so at the end you end paying instead of getting a discount. If you are smart enough and YOU have your numbers right you could catch it and HAVE THEM DO THINGS RIGHT or let Ana or whoever keep your money and on top of that If you catch it, Guess what? They will give you the money back (coupon) they over charged you and at the end you never get any discount. That’s call fraud or stealing! Around Christmas? Really?

Honey Baked Ham RUINED our thanksgiving!!! We wanted our thanksgiving perfect… We had family coming in from all over the country. The turkey was supposed to be delivered the day before thanksgiving, it was a no show. I repeatedly called, ALWAYS A BUSY SIGNAL. On thanksgiving day I actually got through. no. 24. I was on hold for 2 hours and 17 min… & then Honey Baked Ham hung up the phone… I finally got a hold of them today. When I called, the lady said «We will refund you the amount, maybe you can use that as a down-​payment for a good lawyer»??? REALLY??? Honey Baked Ham ruined our thanksgiving!!! No amount of money will fix that!!!
Had I know that Honey Baked Ham company was so unreliable, I would NEVER have ordered from them!!! WE HAD NO TURKEY ON THANKSGIVING!!! We had a house full of people & we had to cancel…

Last year I order to go and guess what I came back because there ham is so good !! I use to cook turkey and hem but I stop !!

This year is the third year I’ve ordered a turkey delivered from Anaheim Honeybaked Ham for Thanksgiving. This is usually my treat for an otherwise chaotic cooking event. This year I’m disappointed and frustrated. My turkey was to arrive 4 days beforehand, I paid for that shipping, and with no explanation will now arrive less than 24 hours before our meal. I am hoping it is not so frozen that I wont have time to defrost it for our meal.
No communication, charging for shipping level not delivered, and here’s hoping they didn’t ruin the main course of our holiday meal. Not high on my recommendation list right now

First time going to inquiry if they do preorder but they said it’s only pick up no need to preorder and they are closed Thanksgiving Day so best to come before holiday to prep and get early. They had no ham sandwiches only premade Turkey sandwiches today which was a disappointment but I can understand they are reserving all the ham for preholiday customers.
Also parking is a nightmare it’s really small parking best to park to the bank next to it

Just got off the phone with them and they said that I couldn’t order Thanksgiving dinner from them… that it had to be shipped directly to my house from out of state. This doesn’t sound right. This is not true, right? Does anyone know?

This location of Honeybaked Ham is the WORST!!! They messed up an order placed WEEKS BEFORE for our Christmas Dinner. I tried, in vain, getting someone to help and finally had to go to a store on CHRISTMAS EVE, stand in line at 6am and then wait TWO HOURS in store until they figured out this entire mess.
Yes, I waited over 3 months to write this. So why now? I got an email from Honeybaked Ham asking me to give them my opinion on their service.
You asked, here it is.
DO NOT trust these people with an order, especially on a special occasion. They will screw it up and they won’t help. Don’t believe me? Check their Facebook page around December 23^rd and see the mess they made and how many holiday dinners they ruined.

Date/​Time: Christmas Eve eve. Yes, I’m corny like that.
Item shopping: Ham for X’mas to be given to coworkers.
Location: Close to freeway. Decent side of street. Be forewarned. THIS PLACE HAS THE WORST PARKING I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Limited parking spots which is aggravated by parking shoppers. The spots for a «L» along the left and bottom perimeter of the building. Both sides of the L end in dead ends. So, that means you can’t back out to find parking elsewhere, back out of spots well because it’s tight, morons will park on the side waiting for a spot, aggravating the situation further, pedestrians cross with impunity and not look out for leaving cars that could hit them. This place is a cluster f*** for parking. Hello, Honey Baked Store, please fix your parking situation. I offer no solutions, but you should, especially around Turkey Day and Saturnalia (aka Christmas).
The merchandise, however, is awesome. I have been enamored by Honey Baked Ham for years. Delicious juicy ham with a sweet and crusty honey glaze on the skin of the ham. For those of you that don’t eat pork, they offer turkey too, and they can honey glaze it too for a small fee. They offer other things too like different flavored mustards, corn bread mix, turkey, hot sandwiches, ham salad and other side. Good awesome stuff. A must buy for any serious shopper or foodie.
They also have people handing out flyers while you wait in line to help you decide what size ham to buy, and other sides like gravy, stuffing etc. etc.
Verdict:
To be honest, I’d rather go to the Orange branch, as the parking situation is not a nightmare. Aside from that, the quality of service is comparable. So, headache or no headache? It’s a no-​brainer.
