This is my favorite lounge in SoCal. Hidden has a relaxed vibe and atmosphere whereas the surrounding lounges are all much too loud and obnoxious. There is ample parking in a well lit area. The interior is clean and the furniture is comfortable with TVs view-​able from any seat, and of course there’s free WiFi. The customer service and speed of service is always above average as well. They also do not allow cigarette smoking inside the lounge, which is a huge plus for me.
Now on to the important part, the quality of the hookahs and experience.
This lounge uses all Khalil Mamoon hookahs, a solid starting point of any lounge. They carry the most popular flavors from AF, NAK, Fumari & Starbuzz. They use natural CocoUltimate cubes, which last long and are great charcoal in my opinion. All the employees are at least somewhat knowledgeable about the hookah life outside of the lounge (which is a MAJOR downfall of most lounges), and their packing ability is quality, even when it’s busy!
They have a good range of upgrades from just a regular KM hookah with an Egyptian bowl, such as the Mystique Ice tip, or KM with an Ice Chamber, to fresh cut fruit bowls (Apple, Orange, Pineapple). The necessity for me when I go is the upgrade to a HookahJohn Harmony bowl (As far as I know, this is the only lounge in the OC that offers that).
All in all, the combination of the atmosphere, customer service, and QUALITY are what keep me coming back.

I don’t normally give a place 5 stars unless all the criteria for running a good, quality business are met. But, I have to give this place 5 stars… great little small business. The food is very good, and inexpensive. I would give the place more like 4 stars because the service is slow, it takes a while sometimes to get someone at your table, especially when busy. But, the ambience is awesome! There are large TV’s around the place, play mostly hip-​hop/​middle eastern mixes… love the music! I have gone on several dates here, and my dates have loved this place. Very inexpensive place, with outstanding ambience.
They serve a great selection of hookah! The tab can be expected for the average college student to handle easily. They have wifi… used to come here to study all the time. Highly recommended place!

This little gem is tucked away in the beautiful town of San Juan Capistrano –just minutes away from the Mission… Yet so accessible from the freeway and PCH with ample parking close by. Expect a little wait at times but it’s worth it — sitting there with your perfect cup Java — as if time stops for a moment for you to catch up to where you need to be… (My favorite spots are on the porch — just magical!)

This is by far my favorite place to come to smoke hooka. The workers will ask how your day is and actually listen and talk with you and treat you like a person rather than someone who just needs something. My hooka has never been forgotten and they’re always attentive, if there’s ever an issue they’re quick to try and help with no eye rolls or attitude. They generally seem happy to be here which is refreshing. Also I love the fact you can always see the workers doing something, whether it’s cleaning little things or checking on people. Definitely a pleasant experience and highly recommended!

This hookah lounge is my favorite one to go for a calmer vibe, clean environment, quick and good service and good quality hookah!
The servers come to your table right when you seat yourself and the hookah comes out right away. If we aren’t feeling the flavor or it’s not to our liking, they will change it for you with no questions asked. They also have a light on the table when any assistance is needed, you just turn it on!
They have a connected business with the restaurant right next door called little Arabia and it is a huge plus! The food there is SO good. I always order the chicken soup for $ 4. They cater the food to your table. Most hookah lounges have food in their kitchen but it’s not up to par for me, but I always look forward to enjoying a good quality meal while smoking hookah.
The quality of the hookah is also good. The tobacco doesn’t burn quickly and their flavor are yummy! I always get the white gummy and red gummy blue mist. On Mondays, they give one FREE hookah refill which is an awesome deal. Their hookah price is $ 12 for happy hour.
The servers come by to refill coals constantly, but only when needed. They’re all super chill and will try to get to know you on a more personal level which I think is super cool. Their owner is always around and making sure everything is running smoothly. We always feel welcome here and know we will get top notch service!
On the weekends they play hip hop music mixed with some Arabian music I believe. I prefer the hip hop more but then again this is a hookah lounge! The music level is good — not too loud where you have to speak over the music. There is no dancing here either.
The lounge is clean with a rectangular room set up and is spacious, unlike most
Hookah lounges where you feel cramped. It has clean couches and extension cords so you can bring your laptop to study/​play games. The floors/​walls/​furniture are all in good condition. They play movies during
Happy hour and they play the basketball/​football/​baseball games when in season.
I’m a regular and so far it will stay that way! Highly recommend you give this place a try if you’re new to hookah!

I’ve been coming to Hidden Café for a few months, and I have finally come to the conclusion that this is my go-​to hookah lounge.
I am not a big fan of club-​vibe hookah lounges because it is WAY too loud. If I wanted to go to a club and dance, I would go to an actual club.
Hookah for me is a comfort, I do not want loud music, girls dancing around and rowdy people next to me. That is why Hidden is the best.
The place is nicely lit and the music is not too loud. My boyfriend and I come here to do last minute essays and to chill. There are outlets around the table to plug in your laptop and they also provide you with mini lamps when you’re reading.
They have the games on the TV and they even play Walking Dead on Sundays.
The employees are attentive but not too attentive. They are constantly walking around with coals. Candace, Donna, Josh and David are super chill. The hookahs are ALWAYS consistent and that is such a thing to have at a lounge. If your hookah isn’t hitting or the flavor is off, they won’t hesitant to change it out or try to resolve the issue.
You seat yourself and turn the light on to get assistance. They have recommendations on mixes on the whiteboard in the front of the place. You can also order food from the restaurant next door if you’re hungry.
The only thing I would say about the place is that the bathroom could get dirty and really smelly so a regular bathroom check would be really cool.

Happy Hour is half off hookah, but a refill is required after about an hour and a half. With the happy hour price, you’re paying about 12 dollars, depending on which category of flavor you get.

Super chill lounge. Prices during happy hour are unbeatable! The lounge is dark, has lights, and plays awesome music videos. A lot of people just come here to relax by themselves, or with company to hangout. I love the apple flavored hookah, it’s my favorite! They also partner with the restaurant next door so they bring your food to you inside the lounge. Love this place!

One of my favorite hookah places in Orange County.
I’ve been going there since before the plaza burned down, witnessed three remodels and continue to go back for more.
I’m really pleased they expanded the outdoor patio and Tariq and Abood are the most hospitable owners you will ever come across.

Awesome place to relax and kick it, good music and prices are very affordable, happy hours are from 3 – 8. The staff here are great, always ready with replacing the charcoal

This place is my go to hookah spot. It’s a very laid back atmosphere and they play good music! The service is always pleasant. The owner (or manager) Tareq is very involved and always comes by to say hello and to ask how our visit is. They are very service oriented and that is what sets them apart from all the close competition near by.
They have an out door area for the cigarette smokers, which is nice so it won’t stink up the inside. They also have a partnership with the Arabic restaurant next door so you can order food from there. The hummus with meat dip and the beef shawarma sandwich are really good. When the restaurant next door is closed, they offer finger food options to get you by, late night.
Overall, chill place and I’d recommend this to anybody.

This place is aweswome. We walked in and we’re served immediately. The workers are so attentive and The hookah is good. The food and their iced mocha is bomb! My boyfriend and I are here from San Diego so for all this experience and it’s our first time here, we found our new favorite hookah spot up here. Most definitely coming back!

This place is absolutely amazing. Excellent customer service and always taken care of right away. And the hookah itself is prime. Here is definitely my go to place to get away and smoke some great hookah and listen to some nice music. Hidden café has definitely exceeded my definition of an exceptional hookah lounge.

I came back and this time I brought my best friend and his lady and we had a blast. I ordered the mint tea pot and it was once again delicious. I forgot what flavor we ordered but all I remember is we got an apple and an ice tip. That darn ice tip kept falling off, I don’t know if it was us or the equipment. However I strongly believe it may have been user error because we were a little buzzed when we got there. They have these light things at the tables that you’re supposed to use if you need assistance. It’s a great idea if… someone that worked there was out on the floor instead of in the back. The restroom was clean which was great, cos I can’t stand establishments with nasty restrooms. They honored the $ 1.00 off with check in. They played a mixture of EDM and hip hop all night and they kept our coals hot and burning.

Your go to hookah lounge. They’re opened up till 4am! This place is really cool and chill to just sit back and chit chat with your girlfriends. They have different kinds of flavors, but the one that my friends and I usually get is the white gummy with safari. Ask for the funnel head. They have food if you’re hungry plus you’re gonna be there for a while if you’re hookah-​ing! So enjoy the food. Their chicken noodle soup is very good. Service is nice. People mind their own business and are out of your way. Lots of room and space. Pick a spot and you’ll probably sit there for hours until you finish your hookah.

Excellent Customer Service, but probably the worst hookah I’ve ever smoked. The mix ratio was completely off, the quality of tobacco was very poor and the hose was not washed (server admitted as much). The ambience was good if it wasn’t for screaming kids running around and into things. I sent my hookah back twice and they were very polite and forthcoming but the end result was not satisfactory. Whatever you do, do not order the gummy bear tobacco as it tastes like bug spray!

This place was ah-​mazing! Service was good, and seats are super comfy! The only thing I would suggest is for them to clean the vessels better, because the flavor we order tasted like something else like mixed flavor, but other than that its one of my fave hang out hookah spots now! Ice tip was a plus, and I love happy hour! Definitely coming back! :)

My friends and I were in Anaheim and were in the mood for some hookah so we Unilocaled the closest lounge and ended up here. It was literally a «hidden café» because it was in the corner of the plaza. I thought that was cute. We got there at happy hour so it was really cheap! Sorry, I forgot the price. This Hidden is smaller than the one located in Anaheim Hills. It took a while for my hookah to come out but I’m not really complaining. The coal changing on the other hand was kinda slow and they weren’t too attentive. I like the music, EDM. There are tv’s located on pretty much every wall. It’s a chill spot. I wouldn’t really go again though just because I do prefer the Anaheim Hills one.

I recently found out about this Hookah Lounge through a friend. Upon lounging here a few times, I realized how great the service is. You’re always given adequate coals for your hookah and tongs so you can manage your hookah temperature to your liking/​flavor optimal temperature. Once you walk in, you’re immediately greeted and asked what flavor of hookah you would like. Within a minute or two, your hookah is brought to you with coals ready for you to smoke and enjoy the inviting environment. Large flat screen TVs are mounted all around so you can enjoy tasteful music videos whilst smoking. There is a variety of selections to fulfill your appetite. From sandwiches to Mediterranean cuisine such as Sojuk sandwich are available upon request. The availability of Mediterranean food shows you that they keep to their roots of the hookah social experience.
I highly recommend coming here. Service and Hookah is top notch coming from a hookah connoisseur.

Hidden Café. The name says it all. Literally, it is hidden. Hidden in a shopping center nestled on Brookhurst Ave in Anaheim. Now I have tried many hookah lounges in Orange County. Many of them! This is now one that I can cross off my list and now put on my «will be coming back again soon» list.
I came earlier this evening to check it out because I had to satisfy my hookah cravings! Soon as I walked in, the sweet odor of hookah hit my nostrils. I was sat at a table and immediately ordered my new favorite flavor-​Exotic Apple Doppio! Now I have tried this flavor before at another hookah lounge nearby. I was just craving this flavor very bad! I waited almost 10 minutes before I got my hookah but I am not one to complain over a few minutes, unless it was over a half hour wait! It is very spacey inside with a few couches but mostly tables all around. They have a few flat screen TV’s around, which at the time were playing EDM videos, which made for a great environment. The ambience was of a mostly young crowd.
Overall, the staff were very attentive with refilling me with coals whenever needed. I am a fan and will most likely be visiting again sometime soon!
