I absolutely love this place. Everytime I land back in Orange County this is the first thing I have to have! The place itself is multiple businesses in one and is kind of a hole in the wall. The parking situation can be a pain in the neck at times, but if you can find one it’s worth it! Just thinking about their quesadillas make my mouth water. Their homemade sauces are amazing and their whole menu is in Spanish. This is really authentic mexican food made by an authentic staff. Absolutely recommended!

This is by far the best little mexican place in OC! Their quesadillas are amazing! All hand made tortillas just like our grandma use to make them! I just tried their enchiladas today and I love them!

This place is great! They always have fresh fruit and their fruit salads and bionicos are to die for! They make it any way you want it with no problems. They also have VERY tasty Tostilocos. Their prices are pretty comparable and the girls are very nice and helpful. The only thing I don’t like is that their parking sucks. They have a restaurant inside(really good food, btw) and so many times you cant find parking. There are probably about 6 spots in this little tiny square of a lot and if you cant find parking on their lot you have to park down the street in the neighborhood and its not a very safe looking neighborhood. So usually if I cant find parking in their lot I leave. They have gotten too popular, they should probably move to a bigger place.

I love this place! It’s down the street from my school and I’ve been here a few times. I heard about them through my classmates in class and this place is known for their hand made tortillas! The food is soo good and the tacos are big. Everything is so tasty and the meat is very juicy and not burnt. They also have a drink stand located on the left when you walk in. They have juices and fruits and also other drinks. I love the Carne asada tacos! I’ve been wanting to try other things on the menu, but I haven’t had the chance yet because I always get tacos every time I’m here. My friends and I usually call ahead and place an order because they get very very busy. Parking is a pain, but there’s a neighborhood close by and there’s limited parking over there

The food is great. It’s as authentic as it gets. The tortillas are all handmade for every dish you get. I have the Huarache de Asade and it was bangin.

It’s different when you walk in, I’ll give you that much, because it is the definition of hole in the wall. But the food is SO good, you can’t help but keep coming back. Yes, the wait can be long, especially busy weekends, and it can be too packed to sit. But it’s completely worth it. The sauces are great, the quesadillas are enormous, and everything is delicious. Mis abuelitos love it, which is the best sign.

Since my last review, I have had no complaints. I took two new guests for breakfast. They absolutely loved it. At one point we got emotional because my friend ordered some Ham and Eggs and she said they reminded her of her Mom that had passed away. It was sad but happy to know that your food brings back beautiful memories to your customers of their home or loved ones. Thank you guys for providing us with these exquisite platters

This place is amazing, fresh food all day! The chicken quesadillas are the bomb! They got the locals bringing in pots for their soups and stews! Tacos are full size, not like them happy meal size at other places!

Quesadilla de Chorizo was DELICIOUS. Hand made tortilla is what makes it so great. Co worker got nachos and he states it was worth the money, supervisor got sope de pastor and said it was alright. Overall we will be ordering again. Will recommend to anyone !

My favorite place for authentic unique Mexican dishes! My ALLTIME favorite is the Caldo de Res with hand made tortillas! This place is clean, staff Is always friendly! And most importantly… The food taste great! No generic crap here! There’s also a raspado/Bionico stand inside this place, which is also good! Prices are reasonable. Only downside is the parking lot! Parking is a bit tight! But once you make in. You won’t regret it!

Ok well I decided to try it again since am craving and my baby really wanted their torta, and I did see that they wrote to me and hoped for a better updated review. And am highly disappointed same lady I think she recognized me rude but I looked passed it then an hour went by and I saw a costumer that got there after me get their food first so I went to check on my food, the lady FORGOT to write the ticket !!! Me being pregnant am not gonna argue I asked for my money I was rude about it but not disrespectful as am walking away she tells the other customers«see one less person so faster service for you» I have never felt so disrespected dissatisfied disappointed and discussed by a person and how no body else did anything about it or said anything it’s so sad how you guys have great food but in my opinion you would have way more customers if you hired people with who cared about your business and customer service never never ever will I step into your business you guys lost a lot of customers my friends and family all know how I was treated and they were more mad than I was

Once of my favorite places for Mexican food! The hours are pretty limited though. They also have lottery, if you like to play and eat like myself. One minus star, is for the hours.

It looks like this was an old converted 7-Eleven, inside there is a check cashing spot, and a juice bar, and the food at the restaurant is fantastic, fresh made tortillas. Great food! pretty quick service. I will be back again!

Found this place on Unilocal as we were looking for a good mangoneada! Walking in, you could already tell that this would be a hidden gem :) we ordered a mangoneada and a another one of their tasty drinks(can’t remember the name at the moment). Service was nice and patiently took the time to explain the drinks without getting flustered with us. Drinks came out in about 5 minutes or so. We also had ordered a sope to share. It was a bit of a wait, but since we had read that everything was freshly made, we were hoping it would be worth it. Finally food came out and was definitely a treat! Yummy! Will come back again :) just maybe not when I’m starving lol

I’ve been here a couple of times already and the food has always been great! It is a bit of a wait sometimes, but it is totally worth it! This place a 4 in 1 kind of a deal, there’s a place where you can purchase fresh fruit, raspados, and liquados; then there’s the other part were you can buy food(Mexican dishes); the place it’s self is like a little market; then there’s a section where you can do I believe money orders. I personally think the fruit place overcharges for their product and I believe it’s also extra if you use your card. The food place is inexpensive and I loved their food! We ordered a hurrache of carne asada and two tacos and they were both very delicious. We have gone back on different occasions to get Sandia Locas, now for this little gem, it has to be pre-ordered according to some lady, we actually had some issues because of this we had gone in twice and both times they said they couldn’t make it because«they didn’t have the ingredients», which I believe is pure b. s, I believe she was just being lazy. So from now on we have called in advance to have it made. The watermelon comes with cucumbers, watermelon, pineapple, Mexican tamarind candy, chamoy, and chile; the price is $ 15 which personally I think it is a little too pricey. We have also had the fruit salad from there which was really good but was also a little pricey and so were the tostilocos. Overall, I prefer the food place better for its quality and price, but the fruit place is just a little too overpriced for me.

Wow, I really got into it with my Mexican wife about this place. Almost all the reviews for this place seem to be 5 stars or 1 star. For me, this was clearly a 3 – 4 star place. I had the carne asada plate. It came with a fairly generous portion of carne asada, a small side of cactus(nopales), beans, rice, lettuce, and some chopped jalapeño, grilled onion, and lettuce. For about $ 11 it was a good serving and tasted good. Surprisingly my favorite part was the cactus(nopales) which was unexpectadly tangy. I did NOT care for either green or red salsa, they were more spicy than anything and did not have a nice roasted or tomato or chile flavor. The meat was decently tender and cooked fairly well, but I thought lacked a bit of seasoning. The beans and rice were nothing special. The avacado and jalapeño was a nice little bonus. I got a side al pastor taco which was middle of the road. My wife had a giant sope that she seemed to enjoy very much. My plate came with a home made tortilla which I do not have a good enough palette to fully appreciate. Bottom line, living in California most of my life, and having a Mexican wife I’ve eaten a LOT of Mexican food and for me this place was«okay.» Certainly not worth a drive for. HOWEVER, my wife says I am crazy and that this place is really good. I don’t regret going so I’d go ahead and give it a try. But if you agree with me and not my wife, come back and like my review. BTW, if you’re also going to get one of their crazy fruit drinks it might push it up to 4 or 5 stars. Final word: yes it is in a very weird location with no parking and in the same room as a check cashing window, the fruit place, and what would VERY generously be described as a «market»(more like a handful of shelves). None of this really bothers me and actually makes it more of a cool find IMHO but again the food for me was okay.

Wow! It’s a little hole in the wall place, bt their food is fresh and delicious! I went to have lunch with my 2 sons, who are endless feeding pits and are not picky so will eat everything, and I got a burrito and some tacos for us. BEWARE! Their burritos were huge!!! My kids and I couldn’t finish it! Tacos were delicious and we got a couple raspados, and again delicious! Everyone needs to give this place a try.
