They have great family combos. The chicken tastes a bit dry. I also like how we can make our own tacos with the family combos! The place was not clean and the salsa bar had sauces spilled all over the place.

Ended up getting a sixteen piece and a an eight piece meal as well. The food is really good for the price. Have enough food for the next day as well. I would rather eat here then KFC for sure. Even the sides are good as well. All of this food came with 5 sides total and I also purchased some of the new and improved so they said churros. My fiancé had mentioned that the churros were a lot better than they used to be since the last time I got them for her. I tend to have to get extra salsa and tortillas. They have to be flour with the house made salsa. This is what I usually find myself craving.

One of the worst services when it came down to any fast food chains. Missed my side orders and the chicken was not fully cooked. MOST importantly there was hair on my food. This chain should be looked into very carefully when it comes down to health department reports.

Been here 3 times. Each time taking my food to go. Never experienced nor witnessed what many are complaining are unfriendly cashiers.
This EPL has the juiciest chicken. Most EPLs I’ve eaten have dried out crummy chicken.

If I could I would give this location a negative star rating. The people there extremely rude. I understand English is not your first language but for more reason you ask people to repeat themselves and not just keep rolling your eyes. They got my order wrong and when I told them the cashier that took my order tried to bad mouth me and say I «changed» my order. Umm, no lady I did not. Just because I don’t look like I speak Spanish doesn’t mean I dnt understand it. There is plenty of other locations. DO NOT go here!

Not the best location… I might as well say this for all El Pollo Locos… The taste of everything was better back in 80’s or early 90’s when it first was growing. Im not a huge fan of the chicken like I used to be unless this location is the only one that serves the chicken dry! Im a picky chicken eater when it comes to restaurants because i find it either to oily. To dry. Or looks somewhat like chicken but doesn’t look like chicken. this particular spot serves dry and hardly any chicken on the chicken pieces. Maybe next time.

Pollo loco is very healthy and fresh of the grill. I love coming here. I used to work at a Pollo loco. That’s why I go because I know the food is fresh.

They ran out of many things tonight including chicken… Who does that? Had to wait more than half an hour for my food to cook, watching people get wrong orders, employees drop food in the kitchen, and herds of toddlers bump into customers. The place is filthy with receipts, napkins, and salsa all over the floor. Crap service too. This place is a joke.

The food is always delicious, but that’s not the reason to stop by this particular El Pollo Loco … you go there because the nicest people on the planet work there.
Without exception, the counter people are genuinely friendly, kind, and helpful. I don’t always know what I want, and the servers are so patient and informative.
I always feel more cheerful after I leave because of the good vibes – and maybe because I have a poblano avocado burrito and a cup of guacamole sauce in a little bag. It is so good, and it’s huge! For me, it’s one dinner and two lunches.
Go there and get happy!

I have a love hate relationship with EPL. I love the food but the chickens are so skinny. The company say it’s because there’s no hormones. I say they pick scrawny birds.
EPL isn’t the cheapest chicken place, but it is tasty and much healthier than fried.
Most EPL I have gone to are slow. This location has a fast drive thru, but I also feel rushed when I order. Sometimes I second guess my choice after I order, wondering if I should’ve ordered some other combo.
Regardless, the service here is pretty accurate, freshly made, and easy access off La Palma and Magnolia. Remember to check for salsa. It seems they give it to you only if you tell them how many you want.

This Pollo Loco is no different than any other. the funny thing is that even the spanish speaking employees can’t even get spanish names right when told in spanish.

But I go for the $ 5 dollar pollo bowl which is pretty good for a meal in itself

I used to think their chicken was meaty and plentiful… but now, it feels like you are eating a pigeon or a quail…
I don’t think I will go back to El Pollo, unless I have another coupon… but hey! try their fish taco, its pretty good for what it’s worth.
