Went to Disneyland again and afterwards was craving a burger. Found this place on Unilocal so decided to test it out. Interesting location. It appears its the Holiday Inn’s attached restaurant. Clearly marked building if you have GPS show you the way. Just turn into the Holiday Inn. First off, service was great. Not too many people here so we were seated right away and the server was attentive to our needs. Great place for kids! They have TV’s everywhere and when we went had a whole cluster of TV’s playing Disney Jr. It was great to have a number of sports on various screens and something for the kids as well. They had their standard coloring menu and kids sized meals which were decently priced. So how were the burgers? Pretty good. The KGB sauce is thousand island-esque similar to In-n-Outs sauce. It was good but nothing spectacular. Both burgers that we tried were pretty tasty with a super soft bun. We got the BT Burger and the Philly Burger. Both cooked medium. We enjoyed both. Onion rings were nice and fat and fries were well seasoned as well. So why just A-OK? The service was great. Product was tasty. Great amenities. Basically they priced the burgers too high. At $ 12 each, these burgers are in the gourmet burger category which definitely cannot compete with the Father’s Office or Umami’s out there. Their burgers were good, but more on par with the decent fast food chains of In-n-Out, Habit, and Burger City Grill. I would say the burgers are worth about a $ 5-$ 6 price tag but they’ve sold themselves as a sit down restaurant establishment with full table service. So I could see the burgers be priced around $ 8. This place would deserve a 4 if they didn’t price themselves in the gourmet burger category.

I don’t get it. I’ve eaten here 4 times now. ONLY because I stay at the hotel and my meals have ranged from disgusting to tolerable. I keep trying different things hoping they do something well but both burgers I had sucked. The fish tacos were soaked. So tonight I tried just apps. Firecracker shrimp. Chicken wings and nachos. I really can’t explain what they do to good ingredients to turn them into bad food but only the chicken wings were good. I gotta figure out what else to eat in this area.

Amazing Service. Arturo was great and the place offers 20%off for locals! Food is about a 3.5÷5 but service was 5.5÷5

The burgers were fresh, nice selection of tap and bottle brews, and the service was excellent. Hard to believe this place is attached to a Holiday Inn. I felt like a temporary tourist., Similar to Umami Burger in quality and price. I’d go back.

Jennifer is the reason I will continue to come back. She always makes sure my needs are met. I had dinner here before going to the bar and it was great. Build your burger and make sure to add fried egg. Also if you need a drink try the hang ten IPA and make sure Jennifer poured it. Have fun at Disneyland and use the tram system!

This place is terrible. It’s at the Holiday Inn. It’s ghetto no vibe. We were only people in here and Manager didn’t want to put on NBA sound as its against corporate policy. Ummmm we’re the only people here. Don’t come to this place it’s crap.

This is located inside the Holiday Inn. The actual restaurant is decent. It’s large, clean, lots of tvs to watch sports, large bar area. The burgers however… were nothing special. The bun was typical and probably the worst choice of the burger assembly… they need to pick something more upscale. I live 5 min away from here and when I got home all our burgers were soaked through the bottom bun. Couldn’t really eat it. Overall the taste was nothing special and not really worth the extra effort to go here, unless I were watching sports and meeting friends. They do give a discount if you tell them you live local and are not a tourist.

Not far off the beaten path of Disneyland, is this hidden treasure. Still too new of a restaurant that it was pretty dead for a Friday night although the signs for this place are not as visible as they should be. We passed it while driving there and had to go all the way around since it was a one-way street. As soon as we sat down, we were greeted by a super friendly waitress. We ordered The Boss Burger which consisted of two patties stuffed with bacon and onion and topped with melty cheddar and swiss cheese along with the legendary Thousand Island sauce. The bun was warm which hardly ever is at other burger joints so it gave it that homemade feel and taste. It was so juicy and flavorful that I’m definitely looking forward to try their other burgers!

Strange location in a holiday inn but the bugers are great! Also the fries were perfectly crisp and salted presented in a tipped over bucket. So cute! The parmasean panko crusted onion rings were also very delicious!

Burger Theory is probably the best thing that has ever happened to Holiday Inn and anyone staying within the hotels in its vicinity. First of all, service is TOPNOTCH. My husband and I dined here three times while staying in this area and each time the servers and hosts went above and beyond to accommodate us and our young children. I chose to build my own burger on two occasions and was so happy with how my burger was cooked. I had it lettuce-wrapped as well and it was probably the best put-together lettuce-wrapped burger I’ve ever had! Rather than falling apart like most lettuce-wrapped burgers, mine stayed in place until the very end! I recommend the KGB sauce if choosing this option, perfect sauce for any burger! Breakfast is delicious too. They have a different spin on has browns which almost taste like fries instead. I love it. By the way, if your’e staying at the Holiday Inn, children eat FREE!!! Happy hour is everyday from 5−7PM and includes $ 5 flatbreads, $ 2.50 draft beers and $ 4 house wines.

The staff, environment, cleanliness, and presentation of the food was amazing. Jennifer was our server/bartender was friendly. However the food could use some work maybe we ordered our burger wrong but definitely get the egg and mushrooms, and kbg sauce! Yum! Try the tangerine draft beer! We did not get dessert /: we had nachos with steak, ask for things on the side if you don’t want them on there or else it will be tough to pick out. And we customized our own burger. Overall we liked this place. Maybe we will give it another shot later. Don’t forget to tip your server! I saw three parties not tip the server at all! Not cool!

One of the best burgers either of us have ever had. Perfectly cooked to order their beef is a combination of Angus chuck, briskett and short rib. Simple toppings but completely satisfying. Our waiter Arturo, I think that was his name, was great! He was accommodating, pleasant and attentive. I guarantee this spot would be packed if it wasn’t located in a Holiday Inn on a one way street. Consider it a hidden burger gem.

Me and my girlfriend are staying at the Holiday Inn Resort Anaheim while visiting Disneyland. VERY pleased to have Burger Theory on the main level — Excellent service & food! Tv’s were nice to have, seating comfortable. Clean & modern vibe/décor. Again, service was great– always felt attended to and received helpful answers to all questions. We ordered: Firecracker shrimp– very good — great flavor and texture. Nice heat and sweetness in sauce– endulgent to yet light. Farm Fresh and house burgers — meat cooked properly, easy to eat(not too messy), fresh, interesting flavors — did not disappoint. Highly recommend the French fried as well. They support local craft breweries which I appreciate — offered a decent selection and don’t mind offering samples. Would definitely recommend and come again.

Key Lime Key West Martini is the invention of one of the servers at Burger Theory. It tastes like a combination of key lime pie and piña colada. It also looks like a key lime pie in the glass as well. Rating: 5⁄5 Firecracker Shrimp($ 9) is lightly fried jumbo shrimp with sweet red chili sauce. The coating is light and crispy. The shrimp is perfectly cooked with a great snap. The sauce is the perfect balance of sweet and spicy and pairs nicely with the Key Lime Key West Martini. Rating: 4.8÷5 Buttermilk Tenders($ 8) are golden-brown marinated strips of chicken served with honey-mustard or barbecue sauce. The chicken tenders are tender and juicy after soaking in buttermilk overnight. The breading is light and crispy. Honey mustard is a great dipping sauce for this. Ranch would also be a great option to add as a dip choice. This dish pairs well with beer. Rating: 4.3÷5 Tuscan Chicken Flatbread($ 8) is topped with fresh pesto, caramelized onion, roasted red pepper, and mozzarella cheese. It has a great combination of flavors and a good amount of toppings. A thicker, sturdier crust might be better to hold all of the toppings on. Rating: 4⁄5 Lone Star($ 10 single, $ 14 double) starts with a 1⁄3 lb. beef burger blend of chuck, brisket, and short rib and topped with cheddar cheese, thick-cut bacon, parmesan-panko onion ring, and BBQ sauce. The beef blend on the burger has a great flavor from the different cuts of beef and just the right amount of fat to keep the burger juicy. The fries have a fresh-cut flavor. Use the Heinz 57 as a dipping sauce for your fries. It’s better than ketchup! The burger could use a little more BBQ sauce and a battered onion ring would work better for a crispier texture. Rating: 4⁄5 The Boss($ 14) starts with two 1⁄3 lb. beef burger blend of chuck, brisket, and short rib stuffed with bacon and topped with onion, sharp cheddar cheese, Swiss cheese, lettuce, and KGB(Killer Good Burger) sauce. This is like a Juicy Lucy but stuffed with bacon instead of cheese. The burger is juicy and tender, but would be better if cooked to medium rare. The blend of the sharp cheddar and the nutty Swiss are remarkable. An addition of a small square of cheese in the middle with the bacon might help keep the bacon from falling out and stay inside the burger with each bite. Rating: 4.5÷5 S’mores has a layer of chocolate and graham cracker effect with fire-roasted marshmallows on top. The chocolate layer has a brownie like texture with decadent chocolate flavor. The graham crackers add a crisp grittiness just like a graham cracker should. It is served warm like a lava cake with a lovely Kerr jar presentation. Rating: 5⁄5 Brownie Sundae is simple but effective — chocolate, whipped cream, and caramel. It is not huge and just the right size after a huge burger. The flavor is decadent yet not heavy. Rating: 4.5÷5

A Good Burger at the Holiday Inn! This is a newer burger place inside the Holiday Inn. Parking is easy and no waiting at all to be seated. Prices are reasonable and service is good. ~Lone Star Burger-3.5 Stars Lone Star Burger cooked medium and stuffed with bacon and a onion ring, lettuce and tomato. Adding avocado is a.must. The meat and other ingredients were fresh. A very meaty burger! Overall, a solid burger. Cajun Fries-3.5 Stars AOK. Crispy fries seasoned with a Cajun flair. I was not a big fan of the seasoning itself but overall AOK. ~Ambiance and Customer Service-4 Stars You would not know you were in a hotel restaurant. It felt more like a sports bar with several flat screen TVs except that one of them was playing the Disney channel. Customer service was solid. A very open feeling with friendly faces. A great place for families. A solid meal with good service. 3.5 Stars and rounding up.
