Best Carpet Warehouse

This was our first and last purchase from BCW. They have a good selection of carpet choices and reasonable prices. However, the installation was nothing short of a nightmare. First off, after dropping my dog off at day car so not to be underfoot, I came home to find our brand new carpet laying on the front lawn, whilst rain was falliI’ng from light sprinkle to a full blown rain fall. Unless I mentioned this obvious issue to the installers, they would have let it sit out on the lawn and soak. I then came upstairs to find our mahogany end tables sitting outside in the pouring rain getting destroyed. Outrageous ! these guys were clueless, had I not told them to move them indoors they would have left them outside for further destruction. As it stands, they’re damaged. The installers pulverized the base boards, gouged the walls and the ledge of the wall, I mean huge chunks of cement out of area which will have to be plastered, filled and painted. The doors were left filthy and gouged as well. They left the padding from the old carpet thrown in the backyard, which, continued to soak with rain throughout the day. In brief the installation was a complete and total disaster. The following day, after the installation and the catastrophic mess left behind, Dee, the owner of the shop rang to collect the remaining balance. She asked how the carpet looked, I replied the carpet looks nice, however, the installers caused major damage and left a huge mess behind. She feigned concern and offered to send them back out to «repair the damage»? I replied that I did not want these people back in my house again-​EVER. Clearly, if they’re this clueless, why would I want to visit further disaster on myself. So lesson learned, bypass the marginally less «discount» and go with company’s that stand by their work and offer genuine customer service. With all the remodeling we have done over the years, I have never experienced such poor, sloppy, careless workers. We now have to spend several hours, days and weekends repairing the catastrophic mess Best Carpet Warehouse has left behind.

This place is awesome, a lot cheaper than those other places, & since it’s a family owned business the people are really nice, & very well kept up on
