The staff behind the counter were friendly and it wasn’t that long of a wait to see the doctor compared to other urgent care places. However, once seeing the doctor, that’s where things get depressing. I had a breakout of hives since Sunday and it is now Wednesday. I’ve tracked the triggers, done research online, and got meds/lotions but since it had been a few days, I wanted to check it out. The doctor just seemed like she wanted to get me out of the office and I kept asking questions and telling her the triggers because I paid out of pocket without insurance to find out what is going on. She just told me I had to see an allergy specialist and that what I was taking would help, but wrote me a prescription to pick up. I asked who I should see and she had someone write me a name(Dr. Song) with no contact information other than telling me the Dr. has a few offices might be in Yorba Linda. No number or website. In fact she told me to Google search Dr. Song. Really? Isn’t the whole point of going to see a doctor is that they are experts and should know this stuff? So after paying $ 107 to see the doctor, I had a handout about hives(which I knew), an over the counter medicine which the people at Rite Aid told me more about than the Dr. I saw, and a name with no contact information on how I could see. Wish the front desk would have just said, hey, since you have no insurance and it is hives, there is nothing we can do but tell you to go to Rite Aid to get allergy medicine and use the money to see see an allergy specialist who can better assist you. Would have saved me time and $ 107. I did get a text message just now and when I left a 1 out of 10 was told to call their office and when I let the woman know my experience, their manager is going to call me so hopefully my experience can be a bit better. A refund(or even a partial refund with an actual list of referrals to see instead of a name with no contact info) would make things a lot better.

If I could give less stars i would’ve, saw Dr. Toks today(April 2, 2016)! I went in for a pain on my foot and he didn’t even introduce himself, shake my hand, or even get near me! He leaned up against the wall and stood in the corner the whole time. I’ve never been to a doctor that was that bad! All he did was look at my foot from afar and gave me a prescription to go to the ER! He didn’t even wanna deal with me what so ever! So upset and never ever going back! He shouldn’t even call himself a doctor!

Went in on a Thursday afternoon after my doctor was unavailable, only had to wait for 45 minutes which is great for a walk-in. Front desk person was helpful, nurse was very nice and the doctor was very quick and to the point! Usually urgent care visits are much more lengthy, it was nice to get in and out almost faster than getting an appointment for my doctor z
