Catering on the fly can be hit or miss. Not so at K J’s ! The heroes were delicious and the salads were fresh! Steve B. does a great job all around. The chicken fingers & fries are a hit with my wife. And she’s a tough critic. Well done John Steve, Eva and the entire staff!!!

My go to place for a bacon-egg-and cheese hero. Service is sometimes a little slow but it’s worth it for the perfect breakfast sandwich. Been going here for years before the beach, or the morning after a long night.

This is one of the best delis in East Massapequa/Amityville area. Whether it’s an awesome breakfast sandwich you are looking for or a hero for lunch it’s fresh made and tastes great. The coffee is excellent along with great tasting ice tea. The catering they provide is also excellent. All of this and the prices are excellent considering what many other delis would charge. The staff here is always very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend a trip to KJ’s if you are in the area for whatever you may crave to eat

Great local sandwich shop that does breakfast all day. My favorite sandwiches are the Manhattan, New Yorker, and turkey zinger. The cole slaw is really good. Burger platters are good, served on sour dough bread. 1 star off because they’ve messed up my order more than once. I’ve been going there for years though and will continue to so what does that tell you? Sandwiches are HUGE.

2 egg and cheese sandwiches… prepared quickly and were delicious. What really surprised me was how delicious the home fries were!

Been going here for as long as I can remember. Great sandwhich shop with many options. Most selections require a nap after. Food is top notch and plentiful. I will travel from queens to visit this place. what more to say, a great deli.

Good sandwiches and good prices, a little cramped but overall I would definitely return. Try the turkey zinger, it was really good.

I have had my share of bacon egg and cheese from here. Always delicious. Not too expensive. However i had a chicken sandwich the first time i went here and it was not good. The chicken was dry and hard, i ended up eating a few bites and throwing it out. So BEC. yes! Other sandwiches… not sure. It’s right on my corner and on my way to the train so it is a great location! Usually busy in the morning but still a quick stop!

Seriously hidden Gem. A coworker took me here for lunch one day. I now visit once a week, and can’t get enough. Sub is so large, I usually save the second half for lunch the next day! Always fresh ingredients, and no hassle service. If you’re stuck at the Amityville train station for a while, give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Great local deli for a good breakfast sandwich or one of many special lunch sandwiches. Self-serve coffee/tea, fresh food, great owner(John) who is also an Ironman and Marathon runner so he knows about good nutrition. Located right across from the Amityville LIRR train station makes grabbing breakfast on the go simple. I stop in here whenever I’m heading out east(he’s just off Sunrise Highway) for morning work appointments for my breakfast fix. We’ve also used him for catering many times and everyone always raves(mac and cheese, chicken fingers, wings, pasta!!!). There are several tables inside and an outside area with a few tables for when the weather is nicer. Give him a try.

«Kool Junction» An easy and quick food spot to grab and go before getting on the LIRR. Located a stones throw away from the Amityville train stop this place has the goods to make your commute a pleasant one. The self serve coffee is A-ok and you definitely cant go wrong with any of their breakfast sandwiches. Looking for lunch… they’ve got you covered with a decent sized menu board with all of your usual deli style suspects. A couple tables in front(and perhaps a picnic table outside) provide a minor amount of seating. Guy behind the counter is always very friendly and more than capable to discuss their catering side of the biz.
