I really like this place. It can be hit and miss like any consignment store, so you have to come back frequently to see what they have. I believe a lot of the furniture are old too worn pieces that have been given a few repairs and/​or paint job by the owner or a woman that works there. All the piece have more of a country farm look than antique.

My mom and I stop into Second Avenue Consignment 2 – 3 times per month, and always find great pieces! Be mindful that this isn’t the type of place where you can stalk items until they go down in price… this is one of the best consignment stores in the region and the pieces are priced to-​sell!

I HIGHLY recommend this local business. My husband and I recently moved to Nashua and have purchased a number of items here — a church pew, plantation desk from the 1800s, and many other unique pieces to furnish our house. Their furniture is excellent quality and is priced competitively (by that I mean you can find furniture here of the Pottery Barn, «distressed» aesthetic for a fraction of the price). Even better, the staff is professional and willing to work with you regarding delivery. You also can’t beat the $ 70/​hr delivery (I believe it is also priced depending on location, but luckily we live close). We’ll surely be back for more!

Very nice shop with a variety of used furniture and some antiques. Never know what you will find here. Accolades to the person working the desk when I visited last weekend… Gail was very helpful when I was interested in a chandelier. She contacted the owner and gave my best price, and then returned my call, with a negotiated rate. It worked out for both me and the seller, and thanks again to Gail for her efforts. She is professional and seems to be looking to please both parties. This is a good group shop and definitely worth checking.

Its a big shop. A good amount of large piece furniture here, as well as small.
A fun place to treasure hunt and the prices are quite reasonable.
We even got a modest discount for paying in cash!

Lots of tables and chairs. Lots of interesting things (Victorian fold down bed, anyone?) Not so much sofas, and couches.
Great prices on the items we looked at, but alas, not our perfect table. There’s a whole bunch of furniture consignment places near here, so if you are the hunt for items, you should spend an afternoon shop hopping in this area. I saw some terrific deals!
