Ramada Amherst/Getzville Hotel and Conference Center

I feel like this is one of the best hotel’s in the area. It is huge. Great service, clean rooms, very quiet and an amazing experience! There’s a ton of room inside as well for conferences, meetings or whatever else you can think of! Wonderful place!

The only reason this place gets two stars is for the staff who were all nice.
This place is really, really gross. The smell is bad throughout but our room smelled awful and had a giant stain on the carpet and mold in the shower. Right next to University of Buffalo so I am assuming there are lots of raging parties here. They need to put some major work into it but seem to be fine passing off sub-​standard living conditions to paying guests. No pool, no fridges in rooms. Food was ok in the restaurant if you ordered — continental breakfast was a disgrace, with French toast fingers that looked like French fries and flies swarming around the OJ machine :(Stay away.

I was pretty disappointed with the hotel. The room I had was dirty, it had stained sheets and wallpaper was peeling. The hotel claimed to have free wifi but the whole 3 nights of my stay it never worked. My phone would ring out of no where and at random which made it hard to sleep. The hotel also has free breakfast but it is just basic… Boxed cereal, some fruits, bread, and grits… Idk why this hotel is rated 4 stars. Overall I wasn’t impressed.

We stayed here because it was parents weekend at University at Buffalo. It looked nice in the pictures online. We weren’t expecting Caesar’s Palace or anything but… Let’s start with the positives: the people who work here are very nice. The price was good (it was $ 79/​night plus tax, including discount for parents weekend). The place is basically clean. Now the bad: the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. We could hear every word of our neighbors’ conversation in the morning. The traffic was very loud. It was just loud, all around. We could hear our neighbor’s phone ringing and ringing. Doors slamming in hallways while trying to sleep. Two of the lamps were broken. The bathroom hadn’t been updated in 100 years. In fact, the whole place could stand a make-​over. The worst part was the noise! Ramada should insulate this place!

My Second time visiting this place.
My company always uses this location when we go to buffalo. This time was not good. First we got a room that the ac made a horrible high pitch noise and did not really work. We were nixed ti a different room that was a little better but I noticed a bug in the restroom the next morning. It creeped me out because it was in the shower at the same time I was. Horrible feeling. The breakfast at this hotel is all right. Nothing special.

Me and my bosses were a little confused why they had signs all over the place in chinese. It was little bit funny. All in all I think this place is ok.

The Chicago Tide appreciates quality service and being comfortable during our road trips. Everything here was fabulous besides the kids running through the halls, but when you’re a parent that sort of thing is minute and expected. The staff made sure our stay was wonderful. There was a complaint about my room the last night of our stay, that’s because we had a 2K14 showdown on PS3

Stayed here for a weekend as a Best Man for a wedding and they certainly treated me like one. Their free shuttle for 10 of us to Average Joe’s was clutch and provided a pre-​Wedding night for the ages. Spacious, clean rooms, a superb continental breakfast and a friendly staff made this a great stay. When the Groom left a piece of his tux in my room accidentally, the staff was nice enough to hold it at the front desk for him to pick up upon my check out since I was leaving town, kudos to everyone!

Pleasant overall. Although keep in mind that room service and Continental service is not available on Christmas — with plenty of notifications by the hotel. I would come back here.
