Surprisingly good fish fry on Good Friday! Service was fast, correct, and prompt. Unfortunately, no gluten free beer available, which for a beer joint is unacceptable in this day and age.

Great place to go and unwind at night without driving to the city! Excellent bartenders who make great drinks as are knowledgable on their product. They introduced us to a new locally made whiskey called the one footed cock! It was good and we always love to try something new. They have a a great draft selection as well as bottles! Fun relaxing atmosphere. Dart boards and good music! They he pretty busy at night during the weekend but seem to clear out fairly early Had lunch err once before also. Sat at the bar and had two burgers and a couple drinks. Food was great!

Loughran’s is your classic all –American style pub and grub, but with a little extra refinement. I’ve been here a bunch of times, mostly with family. Most recently, I went here on a Saturday night with about 12 people, filling the backroom. Our waitress was incredibly nice, especially dealing with such a large group of people late in the night… They have some excellent wings here, better than most pubs in Buffalo. They were juicy and came off the bone easily. Also, ordered the calamari, which was good. Had a taste of their caramel apple pie, and which was delicious and turned into a few fork fills.

Very nice clean place. Not a good beer selection but a good wine and liquor list. Has a great dinning room area and a decent bar area. I just got a beer and hung out but the bartender was very courteous

Great neighborhood bar with friendly service and standard fare. A good selection of beer on tap, too.

Amherst’s version of Cheers. Great place to stop for a drink but the food won’t impress you. Basic bar fare. Ho hum at best

Great«townie» bar and a great place to hang out with friends. The food is good but the menu NEVER changes… not that there’s anything wrong with that… they do what they do well The bar area is fun, especially on a Friday night. 10 points if you spot Tom Loughran himself having a drink. My biggest complaint is that they don’t have happy hour. My hubby and I would come during the week if they offered a happy hour. Geez. Not the best place to watch a game either, due to the lack of in bar TVs… they could use a couple on the back walls. But it sounds like I hate this place, actually I love it. If you’re looking for a place with your basic bar food done well, and a townie atmosphere, then you’ve come to the right place.

Nice tanq on the rocks & greygoose w/cranberry & orange juice. Cheap & bit of a college-vibe.

Great neighborhood bar and restaurant with not your average pub food either. The food is excellent from nachos to burgers to steak and all day breakfast too. Try the Pittsburg salad

Basic suburban bar and restaurant. I like the drinks and the people, but the food is mediocre. Hubby doesn’t like it, since it’s a «too clean» Amherst crowd. I like that it’s.. .walking distance. Good for meeting up with a group.
