Wanted to order passed nine and even though they didn’t close for an hour they stopped accepting orders an hour before they close! That’s poor customer service decisions by the owner.

What can I say about my childhood pizza place? Wow my daddy would buy a pie every Wednesday when he got off work a «whole» for our family. Omg that was a huge pizza and very good. I hate huge and nasty! This was back when it was on Bailey that’s how long my family had been going there. This place will forever be in my mind and the taste I will never forget. I can’t wait to visit my dad and take my children there so thay can fall in love too. Everything is made fresh I can remember the box being piping hot when dad would get home from work. The cheese is a great quality and buffalo styled pepperoni it was cut into squares which I absolutely love, and still ask for today at other pizzerias. If you are in the area you should try it. Natives will make you to choose which pizza you like the best villa novas or leonardis… lol it use to be that way I’m sure it has changed. Love this place

Been going since they were on Bailey Avenue # Avenue Pizzeria, taste had not changed not 1 bit loved it than and still love it. I always get double cheese Pepperoni splurge on onion and mushrooms full baked the sauce and pepperoni and seasoning off the chart. Never had the Quattro thinking I must try the different combos. After looking at some other pics that the Double cheese Pepperoni and sausage looks awesome going for a half on that over the years they have got a little costly so I only go maybe once every other month for a treat than when I need a pizza fix little Ceaser for a $ 5 lunch special Deep dish.

This place NEVER disappoints! Ordered a whole cheese and pepperoni and double of medium wings. The pizza was ABSOLUTELYAMAZING! The bread to sauce to cheese to pepperoni ratio is always on point. It’s like a science to the staff there. The seasonings are delightful. After a long work week and counting calories, I was glad to go and indulge. The wings were so juicy and big. They were saucy-thanks Leonardi’s for not being stingy with the sauce. I’m so happy they don’t deviate from the sauce recipe or cheese-it’s what makes them so great in my eyes.

Easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Tasted like frozen pizza and the texture of it was strange. It almost seemed flavorless. I would not recommend.

This 5(five, like 1,2,3,4,5) star pizza. Every time I go to Buffalo I get their pizza. Double cheese! The taste is unreal and the sauce is fabulous. It’s a must. I even bought half a pie –which they packaged for me to fly back home with — and I was crazy joyful! I would drive an hour plus just to eat it if I had to.

Some of the better pizza I’ve had in the buffalo area; their white pizza is probably my favorite. The only thing that keeps it from being a home run for for me is the price – the cost of half of their pizza would get you a large just about anywhere else. That being said, I still, more often than not, still believe it to be worth it. Minimally, it’s worth the buy for you to try yourself and decide.

We love leonardi’s pizza and wings. We have been ordering from here for years now. The customer service is always great. They guys at the counter are always very welcoming and very friendly. There has been a couple times were we weren’t happy with our pizza(seemed a bit undercooked) but it didn’t stop us from ordering. Now we know to as for our pizza well done and it is perfect!!! We always order a single order of wings and those too are always cooked perfect. The best pizza in the northtowns, for sure!

Greasy pizza, but decent boneless wings. They always want to close early though, so they won’t be getting any more of my business…

I got the pepperoni and sausage. Let me start off with a warning: DONOTGET A FULLFORANYLESSTHANFOURPEOPLE. I guess my coworker and I were a little naïve in thinking a pizza from a local place would be the same size as a chain. We didn’t ask so it is our fault. Thirty minutes, $ 50, and FIFTY pieces of pizza later… we had what you might call an insurmountable fight in front of us.(We each ordered a whole.) We tried and failed. We now have enough leftovers to open our own homeless shelter and feed everyone for a week. Anyways, this is some really really good pizza. People tend to say that pizza is pizza, it has the same ingredients. No. That would be an incorrect statement to make. This is definitely in my top 20, maybe top 5 of all time best pizza. Do yourself a favor, pick up the phone and give them a call.

My boyfriend enjoys thick crust pizza and so we needed to find a place by my apartment that was not Zettis. We are big fans of a place downtown so it was going to be hard to find a place that would be comparable. We ended up ordering a half pepperoni pizza and one order of medium wings. Overall the portion was more than sufficient for the two of us with plenty for leftovers. The wings were very crispy without being greasy or burnt. The wings were not saucy at all which was a surprise to me and though we ordered medium, it was more of mild flavor. I am from Brooklyn so when I moved to Buffalo and encountered the little curly pepperonis, I was deeply disappointed. The pepperonis used at Leonardis did the same pooling some grease in the little cups of meat which usually is gross to me but the pepperonis were not burnt and maybe I was famished, but the slight grease did not bother me at all. As for the sauce, it is sweeter than what I am used to but very smooth. I would have enjoyed more sauce. Overall a great meal and I look forward to trying other things here in the future.

My all time favorite pizzeria … I grew up on Leonardis since I was a child and they were in the city. They are always a good selection when it comes to great pi zza. I have never tried any of their subs or wings… BUT if you are looking for a great Buffalo pizza experience. .you HAVE to check them out… A large double double, the pepperoni is the staple of the pie… just a slight burn to give it a little crunch .and there you have it. Excellent staff also !

We are visiting here, babysitting our grandsons as our daughter is in the hospital, having delivered our third grandson unexpectedly early, so we decided to order pizza from this place. It is the usual place we get pizza from when we visit Buffalo only to be once again disappointed in the service which is never that great but the pizza is pretty good even if it usually takes over 40 minutes for pick up. This time, however, it was worse than ever! It’s Christmas Eve so we understand being busy but this is what we experienced: We simply ordered our usual order, one large pizza pepperoni with onions and green peppers on half and we added a double order of boneless chicken wings… pretty simple right? During the placement of the order they hung up on my husband twice… when picking up the order over 45 minutes later, they told him he didn’t order the wings… he said okay no biggy took the pizza they handed him, brought it home only to find it was completely wrong! He called them back said we got the wrong order, they referred to him by the wrong name, which he corrected and they said they couldn’t give him his money back and that it was his fault that he accepted the order… he said fine can I just get the correct pizza and we would bring the other back… again they said no it’s not their problem he took the pizza. Now if that wasn’t poor customer service then what happened next will get your attention… So me being the calmer of the two of us, called back and ask to speak to the manager, Anne was her name, explained our situation and is their something she could do to correct this and she said, and I Quote, «can I interject something, he took the pizza after the order was repeated back to him(which was not what happened) it’s not our problem, we will not give you your money back, but your correct order is here if you want to pick it up and pay for it again, you can, Merry Christmas» and hung up me… no kidding There are to many good pizza places in the Amherst, NY area to ever have to be treated like this again… no matter how busy they are . I would never recommend this place again and I will spread the news of this experience here to others whenever I get the chance, not only have the lost my business but they have lost my daughter ‘s business(who lives here) as well as anyone else who takes the time to heed to these reviews!

The way I see, there are two distinct types of Buffalonian pizzas. Those being the cheesy, slightly more well done pizza where the pepperoni gets a little charred around the edges(think La Nova’s or Casa Di Pizza), and the sweeter, saucier variety. Leonardi’s is an example of the latter. And what an example! The sweeter sauce has a little bit of an acquired taste to it, but not one that’s difficult to acquire. It’s more interesting at first, but then it becomes tangy, saucy crack for your taste buds and you just can’t get enough of it. Fortunately for me my tongue didn’t have much of a learning curve due to the fact that I grew up in South Buffalo and not too far from Imperial’s Pizza, which is quite similar. Personally, I think Leonardi’s is better and even put it at the current top spot on my pizza list. The downside to Leonardi’s is unless your fortunate enough to live on the border of Amherst then it’s going to be a hike to get your pizza fix. Moreover, if you do live in the Amherst area, they don’t deliver so you’re going for a ride anyways. Lastly, Leonardi’s, not unlike other world-class eateries around the country, can sometime be a victim of their own success: expect long waits and some elbow-jostling with other patrons to pick up your sought after pie. Worst of it all, if you show up and it’s still not ready for pick up, they DON’T SELLPIZZABYTHESLICE to hold you over for the wait and long car ride home. You’re best to roll your windows down so the intoxicating aroma doesn’t cause you to go into delirium tremors and wreck.

What a fantastic pizza! I had to fight the urge to start eating in the car before I got home cuz it looked so appetizing! Pros: Absolutely delicious crust, smoked pepperoni(I had the double pepperoni options), amazing taste to the cheese. Good amount of both cheese and pepperoni. I did like the smaller size of the pepperoni. Never had that before and it’s easier to eat that the regular ones. Cons: Pricier than usual pies. Worth it nonetheless. I don’t mind the rectangular shape but it does make for weird eating cuz of it. Last I know it’s pizza and I shouldn’t but I will mention… There was wayyyy too much oil. The bottom of the box was soaked. That was the biggest con for me. Other than this, a great pie by any standard.

What can I say! Their pizza is definitely amongst the tops in wny. Number 2 on my top 5. I’ll have to say they probably have the tastiest freshest dough of all the places I’ve tried in the area. Toppings are top notch. The sauce is fantastic. Second to only Bob’s poplar. Bocces might be in the area but the pies here are definitely of the highest quality. I’m a fan. I’ll certainly be coming back! 1) Imperial pizza(Buffalo) 2) Leonardis(Amherst) 3) Bella(Hamburg) 4) Bobs Poplar(Cheektowaga) 5) Zips Wise Guys(North Buffalo)
