I HAVEFOUNDMYPIZZA/WINGS PLACE! I’ve been on this quest since I moved back to Buffalo a year ago about where to get my pizza and wings from. I had been getting my pizza from Pizza Plant, because I like my pizza thin crust style. But their wings are baked. And if I wanted baked wings, I would have stayed in Seattle. I kept looking for someplace that had thin crust pizza and good wings. It is HERE. This is IT. The pizza is a 4⁄5. It has a nice thin crust but is a bit too saucy. Still very good though. Generous cheese, good pepperoni. It’s toddler approved. My husband loved it. It’s a winner. They offer Buffalo style(thicker crust) or what we got, the NY thinner crust style. They have several types of dough to choose from, I didn’t do anything special. THEWINGS… the wings are perfection, 5⁄5. They have many types of sauce and they char-BBQ. Char-BBQ is where it is AT! We got the sweet BBQ and the sesame honey BBQ. Delicious, my husband and I charged through 20 of those with pizza. They are that good! This place is a solid winner. Will be coming back here, really good food.

How is it that multiple times I come in here at lunch around 12:30 and there is no slices available? The response I get from workers is its about a 20 minute wait.

Whatever the owners did to improve their product since they renovated, is working! This went from being one of my least favorite local pizza places to now my favorite local pizza place! We’ve ordered from here several times recently, and every time the food has been awesome. The wings especially. I’m not a huge wing person, but we ordered the Whiskey Bourbon BBQ extra crispy one night, and I’m not kidding… I wanted to eat the whole double order by myself! First, their wings are HUGE and meaty. Second, the BBQ + grill is just such an awesome treat, and a nice difference from typical hot wings. I’ve also tried several of the specialty pizzas from here too. The Eggplant White is one of my favorites. Though, my family is always more than happy with cheese and pepperoni too. But I LOVE that they have so many cool specialty pizzas. I’m going to keep ordering a specialty pie every time I order from here to try out some new flavors. You really can’t go wrong here. I’m so pleasantly pleased at the turn around of Just Pizza. If you’ve tried it in the past, and rated it low, try it again now. I’m going to guarantee that you’ll notice a much improved difference! Awesome job, Just Pizza!

I order from Just Pizza Clarence. The food is pretty good but the delivery is soooo slow and never on time. I just ordered two subs that were supposed to take 40 minutes… It’s over an hour and a half and still not here! This isn’t an isolated experience. It happens virtually every time I’ve ordered. So, if you want decent food but a lot of excuses, order away!

I have had nothing but good experiences with this location, food quality is always great and I love sitting at the bar for a beer while waiting for food. I love how the guy from Orlando feels he’s qualified to review a pizzeria in Buffalo, NY. People in Florida think Papa Johns is pizza, bahahahahah.

Our party of 15 had a wonderful dine-in lunch at Just Pizza on Transit Rd. The food was awesome. The new owner has made this a special place. It has great atmosphere and is very clean. I will be returning in the near future.

Just Pizza is amazing, but location and their owners do count. We have to also make sure that our dairy allergic children get zero cheese and Just Pizza is awesome about that. They don’t even have cheese in their sauce… MAJORBONUS! Main Street in Buffalo is by far my favorite location and I have gone the extra mile to use them. Fortunately, recently, the Transit store changed owners and I am thrilled to say that now they even deliver to our area! SCORE! My favorite pizza above all else is pepperoni, artichoke with honey sesame crust. Following that is their three cheese steak pizza. The thought of either make me drool in excitement! My daughter loves a variety of pizzas, with no cheese and extra sauce, honey sesame crust. We almost always get wings and the BBQ are dairy free and mouth watering as well as their medium wings, which are made with butter, but are delicious with their blue cheese. I have to see if the original owners still ship food across the US, but at one point they did, which makes them food Kings in my book. Amazing quality products to produce some delicious and outstanding food, the new owners on Transit now deliver farther out to Amherst and they ship coast to coast. Hell YES! So when I want a première Buffalo Pizza, my choice has been and always will be Just Pizza and Wings! If you haven’t already try them… they are so worth it!!!

To call this«Just Pizza and Wing Co» is rather inaccurate without the«Wing» part of that being available. Not to mention the list of other items that were also unavailable. You would expect that a medium pizza would be exceptional when it takes an hour for it to come out, not average at best. Let alone that a single slice, for the youngest with us, to be the last plate brought out. The upsides were a friendly staff and a nice environment.

Just visited the transit road location and was pleased with the family dining feel. We were greeted by the owner who was very warm and welcoming. We sat at the bar, which was great because they had multiple screens. The food was excellent! We enjoyed the Friday night fish fry, pizza as well as a steak taco. All were quite delicious. Will definitely visit frequently!

Be careful with pre-orders for your party from this location. Placed an order for birthday pool party in advance(called the day before) to be delivered 40 minutes in advance of when we needed it at 5:40pm. Order was to be delivered at 5pm. Well once 5:15pm hit with no pizza I had to leave the party to call to make sure the order was on it’s way. Talked to them and they had forgotten about the order. From this point on they did the best they could considering they had to cook & deliver pizza from scratch. However, we had over 60 hungry kids & parents ready to eat at 5:40pm and the order did not end up arriving until 6:05pm over an hour after the scheduled delivery time. And we only had the room booked for 5:30 — 6:30 so this made the party extremely stressful. Instead of enjoying the party with the guests I was perched by the front door anxiously awaiting the arrival of the pizza. Once it finally arrived the pizza was good and it was completely devoured by hungry guests in about 10 minutes flat. We made the best of it but I know most of these kids parties have a very tight window to eat of 30 – 60 minutes so be very careful if you place a pre-order with them. They gave us 20% off which seemed minimal considering the gigantic error that took place on their part completely forgetting about a large pre-order. We did appreciate that they got it cooked and to the party as fast as possible once I called and they realized their error. But to forget a large pre-order like this and only offer a 20% discount off of a full price order using no coupons was disappointing. So bottom line… pizza is good but if you pre-order you’d better call to remind them to make your order an hour or two before your delivery time.

This place is under new management and it is awesome. Great crust on the pizza, fantastic wings, especially the Cajun wings, and a great selection of beers. I highly recommend this place.

So I am an airline pilot staying over night in Buffalo. It was raining so I ordered from just pizza. The lady in the phone was very pleasant. But they ran out of almonds and had to drive and get more. Causing the pizza to be late. They offered a free 2 liter and«garlic bread» as compensation for my wait. I thought that was nice. Except the garlic bread was made up of a subway role with butter and garlic. More like a butter and garlic sub. And the pizza is one of the grossest pizzas I’ve ever had. If u don’t believe me. Try it. I bet you only try it once.

** New Management Review ** Remodeled ** Just recently we relocated from the West Coast to this area. When we got here, I wanted something quick and to hit up a pizza shop(there were a few). In our new place, the property manager recommend Just Pizza and two other places as the spots to go. We selected Just Pizza for the evening. When we walked in, I was a little nervous because there were literally no other customers in the place. To me, that always kind of starts it off a little awkward. The hostess had us seated and got our drinks. Odd thing with the drinks is it was bottles. I was totally expecting a fountain drink; now I’m not sure if this is ‘customary’ for this area, but for me it was a little bit different than most places I have been. Nonetheless, we ordered up two apps(seasoned fries and mac and cheese balls). Let me tell you! Those Mac and Cheese Balls are damn good! I could eat a whole plate of that for sure. The seasoned fries were just that — seasoned. They were good and crispy. The fry might be a little bit bigger than what I really like, but that’s a personal taste and nothing against the cooks. The meal we ordered was a pizza and wings. We weren’t too sure about the pizza, so my wife and I split one. They divided it up nicely and kept her toppings and mine separated. My wife ordered the vegetarian artichoke supreme; she really seemed to like it and it looked tasty(although, lacking in a major food group — meat). For my half I had the«Hollywood» which was really a ton of meat on the pizza. It was crazy good! The toppings were stacked on that thing! The wings I had were the char-grilled. They cook the wings normally, but toss them on the grill after saucing. It added a nice flavor to the buffalo wings. The wings themselves were thick and hearty. They certainly didn’t leave you wondering why no one fed this poor chicken! Lastly, I had to ask the waitress why no one was here. She informed me that the place was just remodeled. It looks awesome to me! Clean nice colors and everything matches and blends well into the«Pizza joint» feel. TLDR: Hit them up. I can’t speak for the past owners, but these new ones seem to be tearing it up!

I have had two very bad experiences with Just Pizza Transit road. The first time I ordered delivery one evening at 5:00 and was told 45 minutes. After two phone calls and over two hours later our dinner arrived… cold. The second time I called asking for prices on buckets of wings for an event. I was quoted a price and then the night before the event, with less than 24 hours to the event I was called by the manager(who confirmed the first price with me days before) to tell me that they messed up on the price and that the price they had previously given me was for half the amount of wings. I had exhausted my food budget and they tried to make me pay significantly higher amount. I asked to have the owner call me, I gave them my name and number but have yet to hear from him.

Never fails to disappoint. If you’re from out of town and are reading this post, DONOT go here. Get on your phone and Google some other nearby pizzeria. People say that this is «classic Buffalo pizza»…I say that those people must not have grown up in Buffalo. My brother and I ordered pizza and wings for the Bills game today. Our roasted garlic pizza was nothing but a weird oil, a few onions, and cheese. The garlic taste was terrible. There was no minced garlic on it. The menu claims that the pizza has crumbly bleu cheese. THEREWASNONE. Any trace of it was completely overrun by mozzarella. We got spicy garlic wings. I tasted neither garlic nor spiciness. Yes, the wings of decent size. They were juicy but had no flavor. Note to future customers: ALLTHEPIZZASLOOKANDTASTETHESAME! All 1000 of them. I’ve cooked in a handful of Buffalo pizzerias. This is low-quality, mass-produced junk. There’s no «personality» to the pizzas. They’re all flat. They all have portioned measurements of toppings. They’re all extremely greasy on the bottom. The only reason why I give this place 2 stars is because of the pizza variety. You’ll please everybody. Delivery time is acceptable. Next time I’ll spend an extra $ 2 and go with La Nova.

La Nova’s, Bocce’s, Zetti’s, Santora’s, Romeo and Juliet’s, Pizza Plant, Pizza Works, Pizza Junction, John’s, Papa John’s, Casa-Di-Pizza, Prima Pizza, Mr. Pizza, Daddio’s Pizza, Wiseguy’s Pizza, Avenue Pizza, Bob and John’s…the list goes on and on and on and on and on. Buffalo has THOUSANDS of pizza places that deliver and most of them are pretty damn good. By and large this area has some of the finest local pizzerias around… and most of them make pretty remarkable wings too. So why should I pick one pizza place over another? Just Pizza* has created one food item that is soooo spectacular the idea of it makes me instantly salivate: Three Cheese Steak and Cheese Pizza with Hot Peppers and an onion crust. AMAZING! I have ordered this pizza multiple times from multiple locations and it has always been amazing. THISISFOODPORN… A square-sliced pizza with a thin crust which is covered with tiny bites of chewy carmelized onions. Savory and well seasoned pieces of thin cut steak, mushrooms and hot banana peppers are smothered in three distinct cheese. While I am unsure of what the actual cheeses are my best guess is Mozzerella for stretch and chew, Monterey Jack for creaminess and Parmigiano Reggiano(the undisputed king of cheeses) for flavor. Of course, it could be provolone, white American and Piccorino Romano… but the effect would be just about the same. Point being, this is the perfect blend of cheese(and meat) each creating a synergy of deliciousness! I don’t get take-out very often and I hate to splurge calories on pizza, but if I gotta… I mean really gotta… for me there is no other choice then this amazing slice of Buffalo food porn. *They also do a great job on their pit wings(BBQ Wings fried then char grilled)…though La Nova still makes the best.

The pizza at Just Pizza is not bad, but it’s not good either. I guess it’s a matter of taste. I can list 50 pizzerias in the greater Buffalo area that taste better. Just Pizza overdoes it a bit, too — they make too many different types of pizza at once, and then put them out for slices, so by the time you get hold of one, it’s lukewarm — and even if you ask them to heat it up, it tastes like it’s been sitting around all day, because it has. Their pizza is not huge, it’s not delicious, it’s not particularly well made, and it’s a little overpriced. However, it’s not bad. You could do worse. Barely. I haven’t tried their wings, but if people are comparing them to Duffs, that tells me not to try them, because Duffs(like Anchor Bar) are some of the most overrated, and poor wings in Buffalo. I’d eat at 50 other wing bars before Duffs. For really good Pizza, I recommend the big four(my personal faves), which are Pauly’s and Bozanna’s(both in Clarence), Imperial(South Buffalo), and Zip’s(North Buffalo). I can’t say it enough — if you’re just trying a slice, make sure the Pizza is either straight out of the oven piping hot, or reheated in the oven. Chicago Pizza is amazing, and NYC Pizza is special, but Buffalo, for me, beats them both. Please don’t talk to me about STL Pizza or Cali Pizza(ew). The best non-Buffalo/Chi/NYC Pizza I’ve had is Fiore’s in Pittsburgh. Buffalo Pizza is fluffier, doughier, cheesier, saucier, and pepperonier than anything you’ve ever had. If Chicago is a crusty pie and NYC is a huge flat slice, then Buffalo is quintessential Pizza. It’s just so good. They also do excellent Buffalo Chicken Pizza and Steak Pizzas here in Buffalo. Dreamy. I will stand under oath and swear that Buffalo Pizza is the best in the land. Please don’t ever order Pizza from Domino’s, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut et al. Those major corporations don’t need a penny of your money, and they are bland cookie cutter chains that spend all their money on advertising. Please frequent your locally owned Pizza shops. They need it more, they’re real local people, and the food is almost always wildly superior, anyway. Just Pizza is about halfway between a chain and family owned. It’s a local chain(like Ted’s, Bill Grays and Tully’s), so you can feel a lot better than if you were giving your money to Pizza Hut, but it’s still a franchise and you could do much better anyway :)
