I’ve visited Hill House many times over the years and it consistently impressed. The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgable and helpful.
The stock is eclectic. There is a small wine selection, with some very interesting Virginia wines available. There are small but tastefully chosen assortments of living room furniture, cooking equipment, dining glass and stemware, and decorations. As the Christmas season approaches, they offer some really lovely decorations. Plus, there is a good stock of Virginia memorabilia.
If I lived in Amherst, I’m sure I’d be a regular customer.
