Best smoke shop in the valley! Hands down! Great selection. Attentive staff. Name brand products like Toro/H.Educated/DNail etc. ¹⁰⁄₁₀ would go again.

This is hands down the best smoke shop this area has seen in the 6 years since I moved to the Amherst area. I was so happy when it opened. The staff is amiable and outgoing, willing to answer any questions with courtesy and respect. They take good care of their customers too. I needed to return a flo pen I got from them because I fried the battery, they gave me a new battery no questions asked. The store is definitely the type of place that looks after you when you keep coming back. When I first moved to town, there was only one decent smoke shop in the area but they were pushing all the knock-​off brands. Everything I have bought from Exscape has been a huge leg up from the old place!

This is a brand new store that opened in sept. 2014 just behind CVS in Amherst Center. This is a chain store that has 6 locations in NY, and now 1 in MA.
The head salesman, Dani (a man), at the former #1(and only) smoke shop in the direct area (WildSide) left WildSide to set out on his own journey to get in on the gold rush that is College-​Kid-​Money, I guess somehow got in contact with these Esxcape people, and funded this store. Gota give it to them they stepped up the glass game in amherst, bringing in brand names, as well as the «dab» trend pieces to go along with that.
Decent selection there. that is where the good experience ends.
Dani is the head manager of the store. The store has about 2 – 3 other employees, depending on the time of year.
You can tell who Dani is, the doof with the beard and probably wearing some bizarre pendant necklace
It is not a very pleasurable place to go. Although knowledgeable, Dani is a relentless salesman. Nonetheless, he is a good one. However, Dani is a straight up pain in the ass, pressing you to buy everything in sight. Offering you a «deal» everywhere you turn. It really makes the experience rather unpleasant. Hopefully when you go you’ll talk to one of the regular workers who are less pressing. He will talk your ear off until you buy something or speak up for yourself.
Claim to offer the «best priced line of toros in the new england area» may or may not be true, but their selection of them are pretty sub par.
Sold my friend a tank for his juice pen vaporizer, it was around 80 $, claimed to be the best on the market. … Take it to Cloud 9 /​Cloud 99 (real vape pen store, one location is in nanuet, ny). they lauded in his face and sold him a real one for 50 $.
^^Believe this story is true because my friend showed me the box from Exscape the tank came in from and inside theres a part where you swipe your finger over the inside and in the Box from Cloud 99, that marking changes color,…with this box from Exscape, it did not do that. Faker than fake.
Asked one of the workers if they carried American made quartz nails and unconfidently answered i think so.
They are not nice with returns whatsoever. Obvs you need to have a receipt. But Each employee is reluctant to take anything back. They only do store credit and that is hard to get out of them.
the people there are very very very FAKE and just want your MoNeY. They will say whatever to get your money into the register.
if you walk in there they will try to make you spend more than you intended, and offer you a «deal» …up to you to take it or not .a lot of peer pressure in there. not a comfortable environment for smokers.
I stick by my review as someone who as been there many many times.
